For the time being she simply stood, cars zooming through her, she made notes of some things as they did. In one she heard the most awful wailing and some remark about a 'Justin Beaver' or something. That sound alone was almost worse then being faded away.
Finally she moved to make her next step into the second lane.

It seemed the general consensus was to get the pendant, generally the best of ideas. But that also meant risking being visible and racing across the road to it. To run or not was never really a question, he had to give it a try. It only took him a few minutes to realize that he had failed when he saw that he was right back to where he had started instead of further, like some of the students. Ah well, it'll be good to try again.

Riley felt the odd sensation of being somewhere one moment, and another place the next. It was disturbing.
She reformed at the graveyard just in time to see Malodore run in. Without a single word, she got up and tried to follow.

-Candlejack, that felt bizarre... suddenly Malodore was back in the graveyard, knocked on its rear, feeling a bit like it had been scrambled up like an egg. Ugh.
But that had to be the way. Luce was shaking in its arms, and it took a moment to soothe her before grimly preparing another run!

Okay maybe that Justin fellow wasn't too horrible, now it seemed her body was half gone to nothing! Looking down it seemed her body had all but vanished from the chest down, and only one arm seemed to remain now.
Without another thought she stepped forward again nearly tripping over her own missing feet. Wait was that even possible?
Apparently it was as she found herself back in the graveyard, in tact and face down.

This must be what it feels like when a fly continually slams into a glass window without realizing that it cannot get through.
Only I'm not as stupid as a fly.
Or was she? She got up and stalked forward, before running headfirst into the lane again.
