Lips pursed into a pout, momentarily unpursing to give Colette a sound victory cheer ("You beat that trees lecherous butt! ........Again!") before going back to their original pouting state. Where had Rain gone? Belladonna had been knocked out before that so she couldn't remember if the girl just vanished or ran. It was totally illogical that she ran, so surely she vanished, or perhaps that dreaded Ninja-Charlie-Tinkleberry-Whatever stole her! GASP! He couldn't have... What would he have done with her?
Belladonna didn't want to think about that...
As for the wailing, she only released a sigh of relief because it meant Alwine was alright. Why! They had their little group back. The witch made her way toward the ghost, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Its alright. What's done is done, and we can only move forward and show that good for nothing ninja he can't keep us down. We'll just stick to a safer path is all!" She smiled brightly for the girl, not wanting to interrupt her hug with Barth but kind of wanting her own from Alwine.
"So, who are you again?" Belladonna asked the rage demon, giving him a puzzled look. He had NOT been with their group the first go around, but he had fought valiantly and would certainly be welcome!

Sheeki looked at the arguing group- Rain seemed to be just as frustrated as everyone else- and couldn't decide what to do. Roll a dice? Yeah right...
Then he saw Rain leave her tend and his ghost-heart dropped to his stomach. OMG! He quickly looked away with a red blush to his face. He wasn't expecting that... He was dead himself and knew the difficulties of being a ghost rather than a demon. For him it wasn't really a matter of trust of seeing which path would get them out alive- he was dead after all- but going with the flow- again, he was a ghost- and it didn't seem all a big deal which path they took. He didn't like arguments; especially ones that could have been avoided if they sat down and talked.
THEN SUDDENLY MOAR TREES. Sheeki followed Mei in order to get out of the fray; he wasn't staying here! Fortunately it didn't take long for him to find the two, they seemed to have paused mid way. Oh, it looked like Merope was stuck. Sheeki hurried forward just when they started moving again! Shoot!
Annddd... he lost sight of them, but not before he found his way to the southern path.

demon_pachabel S a l l y S h e e p She nodded at Barth, "That's good.. and I think may have one left," she felt around in her bag for confirmation, and there was indeed one lonely pill. She just hoped she wouldn't need to use it.
At Alwine's question, The Reaper looked around for their President, Rain, but she was no where to be found. Colette feared something horrible happened to the ghoul, but she clinged to some hope.
"I didn't see her.." she turned around to look back at the way they came, "maybe she's just lagging back for something.. did anyone see what happened to her?"
Colette was looking from student to student now, hoping someone knew something. Thoughts of what could have happened race in her mind, What if she got stuck there? Could the ninja just have kept her?  PANT PANT PANT."Yurrrr puurrtyyyy....." HP: 3
At the familiar sound of yet another tree, Colette slowly turned around with a face different than her first encounter.
In her first meeting with a tree, she was in startled awe and disbelief. Now, she was just pissed and had a look of fury and 'what the hell do you want'.
She shouted, " AAARGHGGFFFFH," and jumped onto the tree, hitting it repeatedly in the face with her swords; much like a boy on in a certain Christmas Story to one red headed, freckle faced bully.
"WHERE'S RAIN?!"
Colette's HP: 25 HP

"West," West said to the girl. "I wussin wit' Ickis before." He punctuated the statement with a nod. Despite his severely disheveled hair, the flecks of blood that remained on his face from the crash, and his penchant for mushmouthedness, the demon was not actually, nor even somewhat, drunk.
"G'job, Coooo-lette," he said, drawing out the reaper's name and enunciating its end. As much as he had tried to avoid introductions while on the train and traipsing through the forest the first time, it seemed this trip was going to make up for it tenfold. He was surprised to find that he seemed to know everyone's name so far. Well, except for That Kid and the Tiny Girl and Angry.

Danny jumped back from being startled by the reapers reaction to the tree. It was by far way more effective then peeing on it. But his methods rather put him on edge. He'd never seen so much power come from one person. Especially not a girl. Weren't they all dainty things like Sin?
"Beat the s**t out of that thing!" Danny called from behind. He was pleased with the show in front of him. It almost made him feel better about getting his a** kicked by a ninja- ALMOST.

Colette slouched as life faded from the tree. She realized they'd probably never find Rain and stared at the box it left behind. She didn't want the stupid thing, and one was nestled in her bag already. The Reaper picked it up and tossed it towards the group, letting it go to whoever it landed closest to.
As it tumbled and lightly bumped Belladonna's shoe, Colette mumbled, "Keep it."
She was staring and the ground, her face awfully red once she realized how poorly she had just behaved in front of everyone. Shoving her hands into her pocked, she started walking and mumbled as she passed, "Sorry. Let's get moving. "

He was dragged out of the irritating revelation by Alwine's hug. He hadn't expected to see Alwine on the path at all. Out of all the members, it was her who had said explicitly that either the mountain or island were fine, but that she was terrified of the middle path.
For whatever reason, she had still taken it.
Rain and Colette were brave and strong, Belladonna seemed to take things in stride as long as she wasn't alone, what in Halloween had gotten into Alwine?
"Don't cry. I don't- that is- I didn't mean to err- to drag anyone else into whatever. And I hate all the walking. But it would have been - a longer walk alone. Sorry. I won't err- do it again or anything."
When the first tree attacked, Colette destroyed it, but it was easy to see the rage and frustration. He could admit to feeling some of the same (tacked on with guilt and humiliation), although his determination to do anything about it was fading fast. The question of Rain's location, however, might have an easier solution.
"Belladonna," Barth asked quietly, "Do you have Rain's number?"

Alwine looked up at Barth and nodded her neck.
"That's a great idea, Belladonna! Maybe you can call her or something? Then we'll know if she's okay!"
Alwine started to float alongside the others and pulled out a piece of paper and the remnants of some crayons from the train.
"Might as well take care of this while I'm floating..."

The gift was at first looked at with surprise, then snatched up with a large smile and stuffed into her bag. It wouldn't be good to go about tearing it open while they were all walking through the forest. No, no, no good at all.
"Thank you so much Sally!" She couldn't help but view the reaper girl as someone who possessed quite a lot of charity as well as being exceptionally strong!
For a long moment the witch's eyes widened before she crazily fumbled for her skellyphone. With quick fingers she flicked the thing open and began texting, sending Rain the message "WHERE ARE YOU!? PLEASE TELL ME THE NINJA HAS NOT CAPTURED YOU!!!
Yes. Caps were incredibly necessary at that moment.
"OK. I completely forgot I had her number... So, hopefully she'll answer soon."

Jamais wondered how far behind she was. The snow tracks seemed to lead here. From what she could tell most of the group had gone this way. Her tail flickered as she moved, wings were unfortunately not quite useful for much other than 'falling with style', or the occasional lucky gliding just above the snow's surface, because of a nice gust of wind going her way.
Otherwise they were very annoying and in the way. Jamais had no way of contacting anyone and she had an eerie feeling she might be lacking behind by a few hours. It'd probably be amazing if she caught up to them tonight.

"H-Hopefully her phone is being with her, yes?" Tsetsiliya tucked the wreath into her side as she hustled to keep up, trying to smile hopefully up at Belladonna when she sent out the text. The thought had crossed her mind as well that the ninja had kept their student body president as a prisoner, but she waved away such thoughts fitfully. She was very strong! She would certainly not abide by being a snow ninja's prisoner, right?
The poludnica seemed to think very highly of the undead after the show of leadership she had seen during the entire train ride, and she would be very sad indeed if Rain was in the clutches of that awful, awful JOYbeast.
Her attention was diverted towards Alwine as she set to work with a piece of paper. Tsetsiliya could not mask her curiosity and leaned over, quietly inquiring, "What are you drawing?"

Jamais kept following the footprints. Maybe if she was lucky and continued a pattern of run, glide for a few seconds, walk quickly she could eventually catch back up with the group by morning.
Hopefully Basil would be there too. Her tail flickered, "I can't believe I was out cold and left behind."

Alwine was sure that the others wouldn't approve of her card. She seemed to be the only one who wasn't angry at the snow ninja. Maybe if she hadn't been blasted back to the infirmary before she had a chance to fight, she might've been angry. No, Alwine just felt sorry, like usual.
"I'm... uh..." Alwine looked down at the piece of paper, then back up at Tsetsiliya. "I'm making a card. I figured it would be the right thing to do."
So far the drawing just looked like a person in a silly hat. Huh.
