[[Rain]]Jenga's heavy-metal footsteps became the rhythm of dialogue while he listened to the conversationalist that accompanied him. He kept a very steady pace, and only moved the parts of his body required to walk as he looked forward. Quiet as always, Jenga was content in letting Kazket finish nearly the entirety of his sentiment before answering any of the inquiries. Jenga addressed the food first as they made their way towards the exit, finding it of utmost priority. Gods, I'm hungry. However, he had never spent time eating at a diner or a bar... For that matter, Jenga had never paid a ryo for food on any day of his life. Theft had a tendency to make itself his method of acquiring substance, sometimes subbed for hunting. Jenga stopped in place for a moment as he spoke, almost to signify that he was voicing a thought. "I know nowhere.." He said, before starting his pace again. He was referring to food, but his answers oftentimes came out in vague ways. From there, Jenga was silent as they made their way down the short distance of hallway. They entered outside as Kazket finished talking... The rain drowned out the once heavy footsteps... Almost softening even the manufactured ground and padding Jenga's footsteps. He listened to his accompaniment, but faced the sky. The sound of rain hitting the mask made interesting acoustics, tapping softly in an almost woody fashion. The circular design that covered much of the mask's face bled a little, weeping streaks of brownish red from the crusted black "paint". Jenga didn't seem to have noticed, as he faced Kazket once more, not without taking a full minute to let the rain dampen him and his mask. Jenga let silence take a hold of the moment, staring at Kazket through the layer of bone; a silence so strong that it could drown out the patter of rainfall. "What's an umbrella..?" DenShazo15 Quote: Entering from Hidden Cloud Village Notwen pursued the four shadow figures for about ten minutes, pausing every so often to keep them from becoming alert to his presence. Judging by the trajectory of their travel they were headed straight for the wealthy civilian district, which meant that they were also headed to where Nagamichi was going. By now the genin swordsman should be nearly home, but trying to establish a mental link with him with those strangers around was too much of a gamble so the Uchiha decided to trust the fates and hope that his student would be far from the area. Once the shadowy men had entered the civilian district they made a sharp right, almost throwing Notwen off the chase. He half expected to get ambushed by one or two of them, but no attack came. They were headed to an area occupied by the Hyuuga clan of the Hidden Cloud. The dark-skinned Uchiha put on more speed as he saw the figures disappear behind the tall wall of a manor. The sounds of a struggle reached his ears just as he arrived at the base of the wall. Using his chakra control skill, Notwen ran up the wall and vaulted over just as the sounds of fighting stopped. He ran across the elegant yard to where there was a hole in a screen door. " Is everyone here alright!?" he called as he arrived at the scene and witnessed the men apprehended. There were two boys, one younger than the other. And who else, but the head of the clan was standing there above the subdued assailants. " I'm sorry, sir. I tried to capture them but they were too fast for me." "Don't worry about it, but could you send these criminals to the interrogation unit? We need to know who they are and what their target was" Rinan motioned towards the motionless bodies. Rinzuki stood adjacent the to the motionless bodies with a stoic expression, staring into space. "How could I not stop them, how could I be so weak he thought". He then balled his hand into a fist, clenching tightly, infuriated with dissatisfaction for his actions.

(Hidden Cloud)
Aeal was sitting in the back of the class as usual with his headphones on. The bass pumping through them was what he lived for. His teachers however failed to see the appeal, and only saw a distraction. As the demonstration for chakra control was going on he was in the back of the class tapping his foot and bobbing his head to the beat. One of the other students decided it would be funny to wait until the young boy closed his eyes and then crank the volume on his music device. Aeal’s only reaction to this prank was to close his eyes and begin to move his whole body. This however proved to be a bad decision on his part as the teacher noticed his lack of attention and threw a shuriken at the headphones knocking them off of his head. The sharp metal clashed with the hard plastic shredding it and tearing through the wiring.
The young music lover abruptly fell out of his chair with a grunt. “Aww man…those were brand new…” He sighed as he looked up at the ceiling. “Why you always gotta harsh my mellow teach? It’s just music.” He asked slightly perturbed.
“Because this is a classroom not a concert hall Aeal!” The teacher scolded. She had always been hard on the boy because of his lack of interest, but that was only because he had such great potential. He was really very talented, but he was more interested in his music than in actually applying his knowledge. The young boy slowly pulled himself up off the floor with obvious exasperation. Crackling could be heard coming from his completely thrashed headphones.
“Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of headphones that nice?” He asked as he ran his fingers through his two toned mohawk. “I had them imported, and it cost me two weeks of work at the ramen shop just to pay for them.” He said as he sank back down into his chair with an exasperated sigh.
Before the teacher could issue a seething retort the bell that signaled the end of the school day rang. “See ya teach I’m outta here.” Aeal said as he pushed his desk over to fling himself out of his chair. “You don’t mind cleaning that up do you? No of course you don’t.” He chuckled as strolled leisurely to the door. With a quick flick of his wrist he hooked up a new set of headphones and tossed them onto his head so he wouldn’t have to hear his teacher rant at him over his behavior. She had destroyed something of his and he considered knocking the desk over, and making a mess a small measure of justice.

Nagamichi, by a stroke of good fortune, was far from the events that had taken place at the Hyuuga manor. The genin swordsman was currently taking a stroll around the Academy grounds. He had been cleared by the groundskeeper, who had been fond of the young Irikura since the day he healed the man's injured hip. Nagamichi looked around at the many lessons that were taking place all over the complex: water walking, weapon accuracy, taijutsu sparring and espionage training. The majority of the students were taking their schooling seriously, while there were the odd few loafing around and causing trouble here and there. The genin swordsman made his way over to the classroom area of the academy. It was a single-story compound split in half by a long hardwood walkway. The classrooms took up about one third of the entire academy space, but the fact that the entire area of the academy was spread over two small plateaus connected by a bridge made it look like it was a lot bigger. Nagamichi was now walking down the same walkway he had used to a little over a year ago. He was just about to walk past the last classroom on the left when all of a sudden he heard the voice of a young boy complaining about something of his that was just broken, apparently a music listening device of some sort. The voice of a middle-aged woman could now be heard reprimanding who could only be the same student, more than likely the instructor according to the boy named Aeal's previous outburst. It seemed that this Aeal kid had been listening to music during the lecture and the instructor had somehow managed to break the device while trying to get his attention. The instructors here are always so serious at their job. thought Nagamichi with a chuckle. He now found himself standing with his back to the wall listening to the exchange between teacher and student. He was so caught up in the conversation that he flinched when the bell, which was located right above him on the wall, rang to signal the end of the day. Students filed out of the classrooms down the hall, which was almost packed. Nagamichi heard the voice of Aeal at the door and saw the boy, who had green-and-black hair styled in a mohawk and wearing earphones walking away at a somewhat rhythmic swagger. The instructor was yelling up a storm, but sadly her words were falling on deaf ears. At that point Nagamichi decided to follow this mystery boy.

The young boy was almost shuffling to the beat as he walked down the hall. All of the other students gave him a wide birth knowing he was apt to bump into someone when he was this into his music. The pounding bass of the music could be heard even through bustle of the crowd, and when someone was shoved into Aeal by a bully he was caught unaware. The boy stumbled backward catching himself on Nagamichi's shoulder.
"Hey who the hell do you think you are Daichi?" The young music enthusiast exclaimed. He was glaring at the bully with a baleful stare. "I told you to leave that kid alone two days ago. Don't make me get sonic on your a**." He said with seemingly laid back temperament, though there was an obvious undertone of displeasure.
"What are you going to do? You keep acting like some big man on campus but you can't even pay attention in class loser! Have you even learned how to walk up a wall yet?" The bully snorted mockingly as he walked over and shoved Aeal into a locker. Daichi was well built and obviously like to use his excessive strength to cause others discomfort for his own amusement.
The young boy sighed and shook his head. You're never going to learn are you Daichi? Someone has to teach you a lesson. Aeal said as he shook off his headphones. "Now listen to me, you're going to put me down and then give that kid your money as an apology."
The bully's eyes seemed to glaze over slightly and he nodded. "Yeah...I'm sorry Aeal you're right." Daichi said as he slowly lowered the young boy back down to the ground. The hulking academy student then proceeded to turn around and help up the boy he had shoved. "I'm sorry here take this as my way of making things right." He said as he handed over his entire ryo pouch to the scrawny child.
Aeal finally turned to the gennin he had grabbed onto for support. "Thanks for the save man, I would have fell flat on my face if you weren't there." He said with a small grin.

Nagamichi could clearly hear the music that played from Aeal's ear phones, even with a few students standing between the two of them. The genin swordsman wondered how it was that the green-and-black haired kid could listen to music that loud without damaging his eardrums. It was because his thoughts had strayed for a few seconds that Nagamichi failed to notice the fact that the students that had been ahead of him moved to the side, and continued to walk a short distance. When Aeal stumbled backwards and caught himself on the Irikura's shoulder, Nagamichi snapped out of his short daydream and assessed the current situation. It seemed that Daicihi, a boy who had been at the academy long before Nagamichi had enrolled. He was good at the ninja arts, but his bullying caused him to be held back every time.
One would think he would have learned his lesson by now, thought the young medic, feeling Aeal push off of him and confront Daichi. Apparently the latter had pushed a scrawny boy into Aeal, and the boy in question was standing a few feet away at the edge of the now gathering crowd. Daichi approached Aeal and pinned him against a locker, causing Nagamichi's hand to stray over to the hilt of his sword. This isn't my fight... he thought and slowly calmed himself down while watching what was going to happen. The green-and-black haired boy shook his head, causing his earphones to fall and hang around his neck, and told the bully to apologize to the other kid and also give him his lunch money. Nagamichi's eyes widened in disbelief as Daichi's demeanor changed from aggressive to apologetic in an instant, and his jaw dropped when Daichi agreed and carried out Aeal's orders like if it was nothing. What the heck just happened!? wondered the genin swordsman just before Aeal turned to address him. "Don't sweat it, i was just taking a stroll through the campus and just happened to be at the right place at the right time." replied Nagamichi with a smile. "My name's Nagamichi, by the way. Nagamichi Irikura."

Aeal chuckled as Daichi walked away dumbfounded and slightly dazed. He turned to Nagamichi and nodded as he introduced himself. "My name is Aeal Zakayia. I noticed you were rather dumbfounded when Daichi apologized. To be honest he didn't really have a choice. He may be big, but that doesn't matter in a genjutsu." The young boy said with a smirk. "I have to go collect my paycheck from the ramen shop, wanna tag along?" He asked intrigued by this newcomer. The music from his headphones slowly faded out as the batteries finally died. "Aww man...lame..." The music enthusiast said with a sigh. "Oh well..." Aeal paused for a moment before asking a question of the swordsman. "So when did you graduate from the academy?" He asked with genuine interest.

Nagamichi stood by silently as Aeal chuckled at the retreating Daichi. The green-and-black haired boy then turned and formally introduced himself as Aeal Zakayia. The academy student explained the reason behind Daichi's weird behavior was caused by a genjutsu. Nagamichi began to wonder when and how Aeal would have been able to execute a genjutsu without the aid of hand seals. In the end, the white-haired boy came to the conclusion that Aeal must have been gifted with an affinity for the skill. "Well it's nice to formally make your acquaintance, Aeal. Your genjutsu skills are pretty powerful if you're able to drive someone else's movements without much effort." Apparently the academy student needed to go pick up some money he had earned from working at the ramen shop because he asked Nagamichi to tag along. The medic swordsman thought about what he needed to do later and decided that he could still complete his chores before heading to bed. "I guess i can go with you. There's nothing else of utmost importance that i need to do at the moment."
The music from Aeal's earphones finally began to lose volume until there was no sound coming from them. The boy's reaction to this occurrence proved Nagamichi's hunch that the batteries had died, canceling the need to strain his voice so that Aeal would be able to hear him. Raising his voice was something the genin seldom did unless he was truly upset. "Lead on." said Nagamichi. As the duo was walking over the bridge Aeal asked the white-haired boy when he had graduated from the academy. "I graduated from there a little over a year ago. Then again i was home schooled most of the time so i was almost never at the academy either."

Aeal smiled and continued to put one foot in front of the other as they slowly made their way toward the ramen shop. When the young music enthusiast didn't have his headphones on he seemed kind of spaced out. He would occasionally wave to someone, or give a passer by a nod. As they passed by the place where Aeal usually got his headphones and batteries the shop keeper happened to be re-arranging a display in the front window.
The shop keep looked puzzled and soon realized what was different. "Aeal why is your music not playing?" He asked slightly dumbfounded. "Batteries died, and I'm broke until later today." The young boy replied. "Well that just won't do, now will it my boy? Here take these, my treat." The shop keep said as he tossed a pack of batteries at Aeal.
The music enthusiast quickly grabbed the batteries and tore the package apart, before popping the power source into his music device. "Thanks Pietro, you rock!" Aeal said with a wide grin as the music began to pump through the speakers on his headphones again. "Anything for my best customer." Pietro replied with a smile. He had taken a shining to the young ninja. Aeal reminded him of his own deceased son, not that the young boy would ever learn the reason behind such special treatment.

After a while of walking through the village Nagamichi noticed a change in Aeal's demeanor. The upbeat, active boy he had just met only an hour earlier seemed to have taken a dive out of character. The academy student smiled and waved to familiar faces every so often, but it was as if he wasn't really there completely. The genin swordsman was about to bring it up to Aeal when the duo walked by a store where a man, more than likely the owner, was arranging the displays. Nagamichi looked over the items that were on display slowly, taking in the details of the store's inventory so that he knew where to go find said wares if the situation called for it in future events.
While the white-haired genin was doing this the shopkeeper spoke to Aeal, inquiring about the reason why the young boy's music wasn't playing. Aeal replied stating that the batteries were dead and he was low on money at the moment, but would have some later during the day. The shopkeeper decided to hand the academy student a pair of new batteries for free, which the latter accepted gratefully and proceeded to insert them into his music playback device. Not long after music could again be heard coming from the boy's earphones. Aeal thanked the shopkeeper, whose name turned out to be Pietro. Pietro just smiled, saying that he would do anything for his best customer and returned to his work. Nagamichi came back from viewing the wares, gazing back as Pietro entered the store.
"He seems to be very fond of you, Aeal. I guess you're a frequent shopper here." said the genin swordsman, who had spotted several earphones of the same make as Aeal's, just in different colors and sizes. He tried to ignore the type of music coming from the academy student's device, which was completely opposite to the calm, soothing music he was used to hearing at home.

Aeal nodded to affirm Nagamichi's statement. "I shop here all the time" The young boy said as he scrolled through several songs before finding one that he liked. The music pumping through mellowed out into smooth electronic rhythm, and the young academy student broke out into a big smile. "I love this part!" He said happily as he began to shuffle in the village square. About a minute passed and he froze on the spot as the music died down for a moment. "Wait for it...DROP!" He cried as he broke out into a heavy almost robotic shuffle. The music suddenly got heavy and his steps matched the beat perfectly as he bobbed and weaved, and seemed to glide across the ground.
As the song ended he danced through the door to the Ramen shop. "Woo...that was a good shuffle." Aeal said as he nodded to his boss. The heavy set man just shook his head and chuckled. It would seem he was used to the young boy breaking out into dance. "You really have some good dance moves kid. Wish I could dance like you." The old man said as he rummaged through some paper work. "Here's your pay check Aeal. Thanks for picking up that triple shift this weekend. You really saved me from one hell of a headache." The shop owner said with a smile. "No problem Tsulu." The young dancer said with a smile as he bobbed his head to the next song."There's a bonus in there for you for being employee of the month. By the way when can you do another dance show for us? You draw quite the crowd." Tsulu said as he started tapping his foot with a grin. "Umm I don't know I don't think I'm going to be graduating anytime soon. Maybe I could work up a new routine and some special effects by next week." Aeal said as he turned to the gennin he had just met. "What do you think Nagamichi? I've been thinking I should learn some break dancing." The young boy asked as he started to sway to the song.

Aeal nodded and affirmed that he did indeed shop at the store all the time, scrolling through the music selection of his device while he did. A few seconds later a new song started playing and after a while it began to die down. Those batteries must be faulty... thought Nagamichi, looking over at the academy student who had a big smile on his face. But why is he smil- The question was answered in a split second. Whatever the song Aeal had been listening to was appeared to have induced a seizure in the young boy. The medic swordsman was about to pounce on the academy student, but stopped himself upon seeing that Aeal's jerky movements were taking him in an oddly deliberate direction. All Nagamichi could do was stand there gazing at the quickly receding figure of the green-and-black haired boy with his jaw gaping. Pietro returned with more things for the display and saw the white-haired swordsman still standing there. "It seems like you've never seen shuffling, young man. It's a new style of dancing, and popular with youngsters these days." said the shopkeeper as he began to arrange the items for his display, which at this point was just about done. "Is that what people call it?" asked Nagamichi, turning his head in Pietro's direction. "Looks more like a fit of epilepsy if you ask me." The shopkeeper chuckled. "You're funny kid. You're the first kid your age that has shown some sort of attachment to the old ways of doing things." Pietro put the final touches on the display and dusted his hands. "It is a good thing but in the end you will become detached from future generations. Try and loosen up a bit. Give shuffling a chance. You never know if you'll like it otherwise." With that said he went back into his store, leaving Nagamichi to mull over his words before he too headed off in the direction of the ramen shop.
The white-haired boy caught up with Aeal just as the song on his music player ended. He was awed that the academy student was so immersed in his music that he failed to notice he was alone for the better part of three minutes. The head chef was then commenting on Aeal's dance moves and presenting him with a paycheck for having worked three shifts the past weekend. The green-and-black haired boy, addressing the chef as Tsulu, said it was no problem. A few seconds later the two were discussing putting on a show since it boosted up the amount of people that visited the ramen shop. Aeal seemed to be considering it, but said that he wouldn't be graduating anytime soon he would consider learning break dancing. Nagamichi was surprised when the dancing boy asked for his input about whether he should learn the new style. "If that's what you feel you should do, go for it." replied the genin swordsman with a smile. "Maybe yuo can teach me how to do that shuffling thing."

Aeal looked at Nagamichi with a smile as he asked for shuffling lessons. "Well first I need to show you what everything looks like put into a routine. Yo Tsulu crank it! I'm gonna show this guy what a proper shuffle looks like!" The young boy said loudly with a grin on his face. As the music proceeded to permeate the shop the young dancer held up three fingers and fist pumped three times. "3,2,1...DROP!" He cried as he began to glide across the floor with kicks and stomps. His arms were in synch with the music and moved in the perfect way to accentuate the rest of his movements. He began to add shoulder rolls and backflips from time to time until the music became rigid. Then his movements became almost mechanical as stopped he shuffling.
As the music died down the young dancer went limp like a robot without power. When the music slowly began to pump the intensity up Aeal slowly returned to life and began to move with fluid grace as he glided across the small area of the shop that was clear. He then flipped onto his hand with three hundred and sixty degree rotation. As he continued to spin he slowly lowered himself down onto his head and gradually his back. He finished in a flashy pose and smirked. "And that my friend is shuffling Aeal style."

[Lightning]
Tick tock tick tock tick tock… Each movement of that wretched clock sent a bolt of electricity through Kansei’s very soul. Each second that passed, each and every moment… it was a fraction of time that was being wasted. What kind of ninja needs to learn language and stuff like that anyways? Kansei needed training, he needed to risk!
He drummed his fingers on the table in front of him. His sensei continued to drone on and on and on. Not once today had he looked away from the chalkboard. Instead, he noisy clacked away at it with a piece of chalk, and spoke of things that Kansei barely cared about.
Kansei crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair. His squinty fox-like eyes scrutinized the chunin at the front. Suddenly, a smile came across his face. Kansei could get a fight in today after all! The student got back onto all four of his chair’s legs, then shuffled back a bit. Casual now. He pretended to take some notes. He shifted in his chair very slightly. His keen eyes never left the teacher.
Kansei got up and snuck around the chairs of his fellow classmates. They gave him dirty looks, but since when could a dirty look get you in trouble? Once he hit the hallway, Kansei took off in a full sprint. He vaulted through a window, out into the city streets. He tumbled into an alleyway beside the academy building.
“Not bad, if I do say so myself,” he patted himself on the back, “Now I’m gonna learn some real ninja moves. But where should I start?” Kansei snapped his fingers, “The usual spot will do.” He marched off, cracking his knuckles.
Kansei stood in front of Risky Business, a rough sake bar on a cliff-side platform near the edge of Kumogakure. The patrons were the toughest of the tough, as far as non-shinobi went. The sake was so strong that it was nicknamed ‘Rat Poison’. The security was said to be Yakuza. Those who frequented the place would know that they were only there to protect the sake house, not the customers. Even more dangerous than the inside of the place was the outside. The back alleyway was decorated with muggers and thieves.
This was Kansei’s favorite place in Kumogakure, this was a place where he could get attacked and fight back. This was a place to practice his new moves, to prove his ninja might. Kansei stood in front of the place and did a few stretches. He did eight squats and eight lunges on each side, and followed up with a few jumping jacks. He was- “GTG” good-to-go.
He walked into the side alley, and was greeted by two thugs. They looked at him stunned for a moment; they were new around here. They weren’t used to an academy student dropping by and kicking their asses from there to Konoha and back. Kansei give them a smug smirk. They returned it, and drew out a pair of switchblades.
“Ey’ kid,” they said. Their rusty blades pointed at Kansei’s body, “I dunneh’ what yeh doin’ here, but how ‘bout yeh give us that walleht on yeh belt, huh kid?” Kansei shook his head, and gave them a cocky wave of his hand. They responded with a laugh and a knife lunge. Kansei fell to his side, and dodged the twin knife lunges.
“Round One!” He called, “Fight!” His hand formed a fist, and he nailed one of the thugs in the face. He hit the guy so hard that he fell backwards into a trash can! Kansei performed a leg sweep next, on the second guy. The guy hopped over Kansei’s leg, and stabbed at the student.
“Check it!” Kansei kicked away the thugs arm, and then kicked him hard in the gut. Like a break-dancer he spun. His kicks and spins got him back to his feet.
That wasn’t the end of the encounter, however. The first man came-to! Not to worry, however. Kansei wasn’t worried, he had mad skills! He had so many mad skills that he was practically main character material! Kansei rocketed forward, and bashed away the man’s arm.
One hit, two hit, three hit, four. Four punches connected on the thug’s chest. Kansei wrapped one arm about the attacker’s arm, and went for a fifth and final punch to the face. This massive haymaker made an uncomfortable sound when it his the thugs face. It was something of a mix of a crunch and a pop. The bloodied thug fell down. He was unconscious for sure this time...

“Hey, wa’ss goin’ on ouh’ there?" A man's voice called from the back alleyway. There was a shuffle, a creak, and a woody squeal; the man was getting up from something he had been sitting on. Each footstep the stranger took sounded like distant thunder. Intimidating. Angry. Dangerous.
What rounded the corner was a man unlike any Kansei had ever seen. The stranger was probably tall enough to bang his head on the doorway to the Risky Business; and too wide to fit in. His body was lined with muscles. Veins popped from each bodily ripple.
Kansei analysed the newcomer. His eyes scanned from bottom to top. His boots were made of articulated steel plates. He had on black ninja pants. From there on up was ninja-style fish nets. Both arms were covered in armor, identical in design and aesthetic to his feet. His head was bald. His eyes were bulgy and buggy. His face was chiseled and square. He was simply a monster; he was Ki Todo, the Legendary Deserter.
Kansei smirked; he'd heard about this guy before. He was a man who was once a student at Kumogakure's Ninja Academy; just as Kansei was. Ki dropped out of his classes after a rather embarrassing noodle incident. Kansei has never known anyone who'd actually been there for the incident, but the official title of the event is 'Kaikinisshoku no Justu: Lunch in the Shade of a Thousand Noodles'.
Nonetheless, after the event, Ki Todo dropped out of the academy and took up a life a crime. He was wanted for many-a-crime, including but not limited to: littering, defacing public property, disturbance of the peace, loitering, and vandalism.
