"I.. should be fine I think.. thanks though."
Looking at the hand the caretaker offered, Blade went on to take it to help pull himself up. However, something rather unexpected to him happened as he made contact. Letting out a cry as he felt a searing pain shoot through his hand, he quickly retracted and looked at his palm. Despite how it felt, there were no signs of damage to him.
"W-what..?" he stammered, bewildered. Was he starting to hallucinate again? He really hoped that wasn't the case.

"My word," The caretaker breathed. "Wha' 'appened?" Blade had cried out like the contact had just hurt him. Perhaps he was lying about being all right? "I think ye may need to seek some attention, Lad. At least let me 'elp ye back to yer camp." The caretaker was afraid to touch him again least he hurt him further. "Wait righ' 'ere. I'll grab my phone and make a call." Prepared to head back to his car and grab his cellphone the man left Blade's side and headed toward the door.

"W-wait!"
Somewhat stunned and confused, Blade couldn't think of why he had felt that pain just now. Just touching someone shouldn't cause something like that.
"I... don't know what happened there. I just took your hand and it felt like a burn," he said, though it was more towards himself in some attempt to make sense of it rather than to the caretaker. The young thief stared hard into his hand and there were no signs of any sorts of injuries, so he knew it wasn't just his body being sore. He even poked at his palms some and felt nothing out of the ordinary.

Lina couldn't pretend to be asleep forever, so when it seemed Tessa and Nami had fallen asleep again (or so she hoped), she sat up, looking around warily. She spotted kohaku who seemed to be up as well, happily reading a book. She waved nervously to the mute girl, standing up and then hoping to look for her stuff
((poke and ken are omnomnoming too. Btw how far away are the showers from the tent?))

((You can make a guess.....maybe a block or two away in distance? So a little bit of a walk but not too far))
Tessa finally decided to get up as well, she had given her plan enough time to already be set in motion so she wanted to see the results. When she sat up and took off her face mask she was quick to turn away from the other girls, searching for her foundation and putting on a thick layer around her eye to hide the bruise. It wasn't a bad bruise thankfully but still irritating.
Once her make-up was applied Tessa grabbed her things for the shower looking at Lina and Kohaku momentarily. She wanted to mess with them a little but she was running short on time. Hopefully Nami could handle things from here. "I'm heading to the showers, ta." Tessa chirped as she walked out of the tent.
Stuff wrapped up in her arms she headed toward the showers. As she approached she could see what looked like a pale figure standing at the girl's shower house entrance. A smile cracked its way across her face in an unappealing way as she continued on looking forward to getting there.

The caretaker paused when Blade called out to him to wait. He had nearly been to the door but stopped and doubled back. "I don' understand. It's neve' 'appened before." He looked at his hands. "All I've got is this." He held up his hand showing off the rosary beads and cross. "Ye gave quite a yell. Sounded like ye were in a lot of pain."

Desmond was one of those guys who liked to stand in the shower and contemplate things, and since the hot water at the campsite never ran out, it meant he could stay in there as long as he damn well pleased. He reflected on a lot of things... His and Klyde's situation, the terrible acts they were obligated to do... And his own feelings. He wasn't gonna go on and on about how he so loved the girl he'd only met weeks ago. As much as Desmond acted the part, he was no romantic... But her innocence was so genuine. At first, he'd thought that he wanted to destroy it... But why should he? Mitsu wasn't doing anything to anyone. She wasn't like the rest of them. Almost everybody in this school was a two-faced hypocrite... Including him.
Sighing, he turned off the shower and quickly dried himself, throwing on more casual attire with a hooded jacket. It was obvious his mind was somewhere else as he walked out of the showers, because when he walked past the girl's stall, he had almost walked right past the naked girl in front of the door. It took him a moment to process what he saw... But when he did, he immediately turned around. "Oh Christ." He mumbled, quickly removing his jacket and coming up behind the girl. His eyes, as much as they didn't want to, looked to the side while he draped the jacket around her shoulders. His mind already had an inkling of what happened, but for the hell of it. "Mitsu, what happened?" She didn't seem like the kind of girl who would take joy in streaking, so it was probably one of the hive's cruel tricks... A little too cruel.

Kohaku, who had actually been paying close attention to the happenings around her, quietly waved back at Lina with a smile. It was nice to have somebody acknowledge her positively. When Tessa awoke and left shortly after, she wondered if the 'plan' the two girls had been discussing had anything to do with the showers... What a terrible thought that was...

Riyo's cheeks reddened only slightly at the kiss, handing over the rabbit with no hesitation. "Thank you, I'm here all week." Making that cliche comedian joke she never thought she'd have the opportunity to make. Quietly, she watched him drain the rabbit, in secret awe of how fast he managed to drink it dry. When he handed it back, Riyo examined the now significantly stiffer rabbit with an amused smirk. "Guess I won't get blood all over my hands now." Though it was something she honestly didn't mind. Before she started skinning the rabbit, Riyo set up a little camp fire, bringing out a stick she'd sharpened the night before and shoving it in the ground. Mmm, rabbit kabobs.

Staring at the beads, Blade was starting to have somewhat of an idea of what was going on. They were holy in nature, as was the church. If he were a demon, he'd probably be feeling more or less the same. But that was the thing... he wasn't a demon as far as he knew. Up until yesterday he didn't have any sort of aversion to holy affiliated things. Then again he didn't expose himself to much of that. Still, this wasn't something that should suddenly appear to him.
This was troubling him a fair amount.
"I... I think I should go.." he said as he managed to push himself up to his feet. He was shaky and didn't feel well still, but if his assumptions were correct he should start feeling better once he was outside.. just as it did last night when he went to get a drink.
"I think I just need to walk it off," he added as he started towards the exit of the church.

Mitsu had been busy trying to get someone to let her in. She didn't realize anyone else was with her until a jacket draped over her shoulders. "Eh?" Her eyes went wide as she slowly turned around hearing the familiar voice. Face that had been rather pale before flushed nine shades of crimson as she choked on a yell, her tail coming up between her legs which she grabbed for and held to her chest. "D...Desmond?"
It took a moment for the shock to settled down before her words came to her again, her eyes still like a deer in headlights. "I...I got locked out." She stammered, pulling the jacket more around her shoulders to hide herself.

Tessa was within range of being able to speak to the white haired girl when Desmond popped up. With a curse, the redhead stepped to the side and hid behind a tree. ******** hell, where did he come from? Leaning around the tree she saw Desmond place his jacket around Mitsu's shoulders. "Damn..." She cursed lowly so no one would hear. Why was he helping her? Mitsu probably wouldn't have noticed if Desmond had walked on by. With a growl Tessa clutched her shampoo bottle until the top popped and shampoo went spilling everywhere. "Damn that b***h." She had no doubt ensnared Desmond, something would have to be done.

"Are ye sure, Lad?" The caretaker asked with worry as he watched Blade get to his feet a little on the unsteady side. "Ye don' look like ye should be walkin' around." The elderly man reached to give him a hand as he started to walk by worried that Blade would fall on his own.

Taking a seat again Klyde watched Riyo work, fascinated with the process of this food making business. It was hard to grasp a procedure that made little sense to him. The meat would probably be good as is so why bother heating it up? It wasn't like trying to make sweets when the cooking preparation actually helped blend the ingredients until they made their final product. "So what activities are you scheduled for today?" He was curious if they had anything together or if they would have to meet up later after lunch.

Nodding to the caretaker, Blade glanced at the offered hand but refrained from taking it just in case. Once he was outside, the feeling of unease the had been experienced lightened considerably, but it still lingered to some extent. Letting out a breath, he took a few more steps to get himself further away from the church. Slowly he could feel his strength returning to him, though over all he still felt fairly crappy from hunger.
"Yeah, that was all I needed. I'm starting to feel better already," he said with a weak grin, "Thanks for the concern though."
Rubbing the back of his neck, he looked over in the direction of the camp. Maybe on the way back he could find something edible to give himself a little boost..

Desmond looked at the door, then back at Mitsu. "Really now?" He asked and tilted his head. With a crack of his knuckles, the vampire drew back his arm and threw a punch at the door, practically taking the thing off its hinges. He didn't look in, but probably figured all the girls were watching. "Now you go get your stuff and I'll be waiting right here for you. And if anybody messes with you again, I'll do to them what I did to that door."

Riyo took out her swiss army knife and began skinning the rabbit, not looking particularly interested after doing it for the 100th time. "Hiking, science, and wilderness training." Not that she needed it, but she wanted to see if there was anything she could be doing better. When the rabbit was nothing but meat and muscle, she ripped off the edible pieces and shoved them on the skewer. "What do you have?" She asked as she took her trusty zippo lighter out of her pocket and flipped it open, setting the small sticks on fire.

There was a few muffled screams as the door broke way from the frame and those within quickly scattered like coach roaches to light, finding shelter behind shower stalls or further into the room. Mitsu stood wide eyed for a moment until she tried to comply with Desmond's request. "O...okay." She had a bad feeling about this. Not that something would happen now, no, they wouldn't let Desmond see their true colors. But later.....
Walking back into the bath house, Mitsu eyes darted around at the number of girls staring daggers in her direction. She was beginning to wish she would have lied. Told him she had tripped and fell out the door, thought she was walking into a different part of the bathroom, hell even pretending that she was on a streaking adventure. Any of those options were better than the sinking feeling that she was doomed. She would just have to stay close to Desmond and the others as much as possible. Then she would be safe, right?
Dressing quickly in the cover of a stall, Mitsu gathered up her things in her bag and walked back out the door a smile plastered on her face. "Thank you." She would at least show him gratitude for helping her get her stuff and not be outside....exposed. "You really saved me there." Holding up his jacket to him which she had neatly folded, she fell into step beside him as they walked, only glancing back momentarily to see if anyone was looking. "So what do you have today for classes?"

Still watching her work Klyde tried to remember. "I think I have hiking and science too, but instead of wilderness training I have team building exercises. Apparently my people skills need work," He grinned thinking it was a joke, oh how little he really knew about himself. "So I'm sure I'll be stuck with a bunch of idiots for an hour catching people that fall or whatever other things they do."

The caretaker followed Blade outside and watched as he walked away. "If ye're sure, Lad. Jus' be careful. Don' linger in the woods too long. Go straigh' back to camp." He sounded a lot like a parent, no doubt he had children of his own though they were probably grown. "Get yerself something to eat and get some rest!" He called once Blade was a distance off. Perhaps he would call the nearby camp soon, though he had forgotten to get the boy's name. Surely if he described him they would know who he was? Long dark hair and red eyes was it? Strange color for the eyes to be, it really made him wonder. And why was the boy so uneasy in the church but fine outside it........nope, nothing was coming to him. Oh well, off to work.

A weak grin cracked through at the caretaker's words, though he just nodded in response to them. It had been a long time since he had heard anything like that so it was just kind of nice, even if he really didn't know this guy at all. Letting out a breath, Blade started on back through the woods while keeping an eye out for something to eat. Berries and mushrooms he wouldn't touch but there may be some sort of fruits along the way. If he was lucky maybe he could try to fireball a rabbit...
Finishing their meal, Shun and Bent-Tail left the mess hall and just made their way to the main camp area. For the most part, Shun wasn't really looking forward to his schedule of the day. He really hated the team building exercises. The guy could work with others just fine if it came down to it but if he could help it, he won't. And he didn't like being forced to do stupid little trust activities along the way.

((HOT CROSS BUNS DAMMIT))
Once poke had finished her meal, she had jumped up from her seat and told Ken to go on without her while she made a quick visit to the medical cabin so she could retrieve something. What she would need from there, he could only guess. Either way he shrugged it off and was now making his way to the campsite as well, spotting shun and bent-tail ahead of him. He briefly wondered what kind of activities they would make him do today. He knew he had science, which was alright, but he also had team building exercise, which could lead the problems depending on who else was in the class. The last was survival training; he wasn't sure how that would go. Hopefully he'll have someone else he could socialize with until lunchtime.

When Mitsu handed back his jacket, the vampire immediately threw it on and put the hood up, hoping he hadn't exposed himself to that damn orb of burning light too long. "No problem, really." At least it wasn't for him... He didn't realize what kind of problems his actions might've caused for Mitsu.

While Riyo waited for the rabbit to cook, she licked her fingers of what little blood had gotten on them and listened to Klyde. Honestly, she couldn't say anything about his people skills since it'd be the kettle calling the pot black. "Isn't that cute? You'll get to talk about your feelings with other people and find things to compliment them on. Sounds like a reality tv show." She teased, unable to hide her smile.

Atticus had finally gotten up and about, making himself a pot of coffee and smoking a morning cigarette. Really, they couldn't penalize him for smoking in here, considering all the other teachers did it and he couldn't leave this damn cabin. The bear was still sitting on his chair, however.
Removing the cigarette from his mouth and taking a sip of his coffee, he stared at the stuffed creature. "It's too bad you can't talk. Maybe you'd tell me who tore you to shreds so I could make their lives miserable for a change."

"Ah, it looks like we have Science together, but I don't have hiking until the end of the day." Which was a shame, she was hoping to at least spend some time with him in class. At least they could get together after lunch and do something since classes would be over by then and it was would free time for swimming and other things. "But...why do you have team building?" She always thought those classes were for the more...socially challenged kids.
Fuming Tessa watched the two walk off together, her nails biting into the bark of the tree she was hiding behind. Suppressing a yell she stormed toward the bathhouse making her way inside. The girls there were still warily getting dressed, their eyes going wide when Tessa appeared.
The girl didn't say anything however as she stomped her way to a shower closing the curtain violently behind herself. Once the curtain was drawn she let out a frustrated scream making those close by flinch.

"It would probably be more entertaining if it were," Klyde commented tossing a rock into the pool of water close by. While he waited for Riyo to cook and eat her food he gathered his things up and put them away. He really didn't want to leave his stuff out in the open. Nothing was more frustrating than trying to reclaim your stuff from a crazy raccoon or even better a bear. He had had his pants stolen enough times to tell a tale. (hehe)
"You ready to head back soon? I'm sure classes will be starting in about a half hour and I should probably grab something more....sustaining until lunch time." Hiking always ended with at least one accident because someone was stupid, so it was better to be prepared and not have the urge to bite into the victim's throat.
