"I need to be calm with a sufficient ammount of time when it comes to healing spells. Giving a simple 'blessing' is easy. Healing isn't." Mala explained to Van with a sigh. "Demon, if you kill me or my brother, you will be stuck the size of a toddler for the rest of your days!" she threatened with a bitter tone. "Every kill you make, regardless of the consequences, will make you smaller and smaller once I am dead! You will never be a worthy menace again."

Van sighed. "When we get back to the house, you heal and I'll pack. The sooner we get away from Little Red Psycho Hood the better I'll feel."

After all, it's kinda hard to praise the guy if you kicked the bucket dispelling some demon or something." Van said as he helped Mala inside and into a chair before leaving the room to pack.

I only came into service much later, after living a peasant's hard life." Mala explained, propping her food on a nearby table so that she could begin the healing. Healing, for Mala, was a slow process that sometimes took hours to properly complete. Well, at least it would be something to distract herself long enough so she wouldn't continue talking to herself even though Van's already left the room.

Van whistled to himself as he went around packing things up, casually swiping anything shiny that looked to be of value as he went and stuffing them in his pockets.

Mala continued to heal her foot, making slow but steady progress. Regardless of whether it was working or not, it still hurt like bloody hell! She whined softly to herself.
