To them, though, I'd like to say:
A personality is the sum of inputs from their surroundings and a method of processing it all. That's all. What you've described doesn't bother me at all, except for the fact that it seems to bother you. It may or may not be because I share far too many of those traits.
As for "putting on a face," so to speak...
You fail to realize that almost none of us are the same person online as we are in real life. And that the same is true for when we're with family/friends or alone. I alone have about three or four different masks I wear.
So don't feel alone.
