TigerLily paused, laying and purred softly, nuzzling the kit and wiping away her tears. "It's not your fault, don't blame yourself." She murmured softly, "If anything at all for problems, it's my fault." She closed her eyes for only a moment.
She swallowed her pride, sighing softly as she opened her eyes for the moment. She bowed her head towards Tigerfang, her tail curling gently around Dawnkit to comfort the younger cat.
"I apologize, but I request one thing?" She spoke lightly, her eyes closing again.

Dawnkit felt that comforting presences as TigerLily weaved herself around her. That soft fur, and those purrs that she had learned in such a short time to love so much ....these comforts that she knew would stay with her throughout her entire life ....as she felt the she-cat wipe away her tears. The nuzzling and purrs that took away that fear, that once more dam up her doubt ...had her purring in response.
But that didn't last long ...as she heard her words, and the kit was confused. It wasn't her fault, she opened her mouth to mew, but all of that was forgotten as she heard her apologize and made a request of one thing.
Alarm bristled through her fur, through her coat ....as she reaches up and hugged herself to her.
"No!"
She screamed at Tigerlily.
"I don't want you to go, I don't want some promise to forget what happen here, and you leave me."
"I will go wherever you go."
"I said, it's my fault. I will accept any punishment, but I won't accept that!"
There was tears again, as the kit stood on her back legs and press herself as tightly against the rogue that it was clear that they would have to actually tear her off ....as she press her head deep into her fur and hugged her.

Tigerfang
Tigerfang narrowed her eyes at the rogue, then looked saw how Dawnkit was crying so desperately into her fur. She was suddenly overcome with a past memory, a memory she wanted to forget.
"Daddy, daddy, please don't go!" Tigerkit screamed desperately to her father.
"I have to, Tigerkit. I have nothing to live for here," a dark tabby tom said softly, his green eyes distant.
"But what about me?! Mama didn't love me, so why don't you?!"
She came back to reality with a flash, not realizing that her claws had come unsheathed. Responding quickly to the rogue's question, she said stoically, "What is it?"

Blackthorn flicked his ear at the sound of Dawnkit's scream. He growled darkly. Ravenfeather stood up. "Perhaps I should go talk to Dawnkit." She asked herself. Blackthorn hissed. "Why? She wants to leave the clan even after everything we did. And with a ROUGE! Even if she stays her loyalty will never remain to the clan, but to the rouge." He grumbled cruelly. Ravenfeather shot him a glare. "You have no right to question her loyalty." She hissed at him. Blackthorn snarled, "I have every right in the world! Starclans kits! Isn't it obvious?! She doesn't care about us!" He hissed at her. Ravenfeather shook her head. "She is only a kit, and some times, I think you are to." She said and stalked towards the commotion.

TigerLily blinked, fairly suprised by Daawnkit's outburst. She smiled gently, "No that's not it, remember? I promised to always protect you, why would I leave you?" She asked, purring quietly. She nuzzled the kit's forehead, clearly worried by now. She sat up again from nuzzling the kit, to look towards Tigerfang.
Her ear flickered, as she remembered what had put her as a loner...a rouge...she shook off the thought and settled back to comfort the kit gently.
"I do not wish to put Dawnkit through any more troubles. I request permission to join this clan to be with her and not have to make her decide whom to be with, to be with the cats she knows, if that is alright with you?" She asked politely. She settled back, to gently pay more attention towards the panicking kit and calming her down, bowing her head slightly.
"I can prove my worth, and I will take care of Dawnkit also, I can promise you that."

((I'm sorry I haven't been on. I got grounded. But I should be ok for now))
Sunkit looked at each of the cats then came to a decision. "I think that you should let TigerLily stay." she said quietly. "I know she's a rouge but I dont want Dawnkit to leave and obviously she loves TigerLily. And besides, TigerLily seems alright to me. Please can they stay?" she said they because she was sure if TigerLily had to leave then Dawnkit would go with her.

Ravenfeather padded over to the groupe of cats. "What seems to be going on? I here you want to leave the clan!' She meowed as gently as possible.

"I told you, that is something that you will have to discuss with Berrystar." she said exasperatedly through clenched teeth.

Dawnkit even upset ...had kept her wits about her as she actually still pay attention to what was being said. She had felt Tigerlily's reassurance. She wasn't going to ask to be released from her, the relief there was evident in her eyes ...., and then they widen as she suddenly realized what she had said.
She wanted to join.
It was so simple that it would solve all of their problems as she stood frozen and shocked. Why hadn't she thought of that? It would have solved so much heartache and pain as she saw Sunpaw, and heard her actually talk in support of this.
If she got to stick around, she promised she would do something especially nice for Sunpaw after this.
Then Ravenfeather paw up to them ...since, Dawnkit had yet to get any distances from Tigerlily as she blinked at her in a type of stupor before she declares back to her equally as gently.
"I don't know."
She declares to her as she looked at Tigerfang. Hoping against hope for better words, but what she head ...had her almost laughing ...in the insanity of it all. For all that had happen, they were back to where they had started.
She still needed Berrystar's approval.
She sniffed a few times as she tries to steady herself, and her voice before finally detaching herself from the cat. Her ears were drawn back the way that a cat would do before they got ready to battle as she meow at Tigerfang.
"Then, I am going to see her now." "I won't be separated from her, and it seems I was wrong." "I am still needed here." "If we can ...maybe work this out, then it would be for the best of our clan."
"Tigerlily is perfect." "She is strong and smart, and she would make a good warrior."
She talked to the Deputy with all the admiration that a kit could possibly have of her mother ...as she stood on her four paws. Trying to look bigger, trying to look bolder, and try like hell not to bolt out of here.
There was so many eyes on her now. It was probably the first time, she can remember being in the center of attention like this, and not trying to find a deep dark hole to hide from it all.
That tremble was still present, but she knew she had to do this.
NO one else would speak for her ....as she looked back at Tigerlily.
"Don't leave, please." "I am going to talk to Berrystar."
Then her glare met that of Tigerfang.
"I know kits don't simply go into the leader's den to talk to her, but I am going to do this ....if you will permit me." "Or, maybe, you can bring Berrystar here, this is something that normally she needs to be present for."
"Or, you could give the okay."
Those words were spoken strangely from her.
"Deputy had given temporary consent in the pass, though until, Berrystar has her say ...she could be thrown out at any time."
Dawnkit declares and then shook her head as she fluffy out in a fighters pose that look completely ridiculous on her.

Ashkit calmly ate a mouse. Her fur suddenly fluffed up when her sister, Windkit, stealthily leaped up and landed on Ashkit, giving a clawless blow to her sister. Ashkit rolled over and left her sister on the ground. She kept her claws sheathed as she hit her sister on the cheek, followed by leaping over Windkit and playfully biting her foot.
"You don't know where my foot has been~!"
"Oh, gross! I can tell from its taste! Yuck!"
The girls stood up and finished the mouse. Ashkit noticed all of the kits. "Intruders!" She hissed. Windkit turned her head to face the group of cats, noticing clan-mates. "Blackthorn has it under control," Windkit mewed.

(( Oi... I am SO sorry for leaving you guys alone for so long.
However... when was Berrystar a girl? xD ))
Berrystar finally awoke from a vivid and horrific dream, pulling himself together and going out of his den to see commotion, and noticeably a rogue. "What's going on?" he asked sharply as he jumped in surprise. Something important was going on, and his clan was awaiting Berrystar to do something. Embarrassed, he tried to sit himself calmly, neatly putting his tail over his paws. "Could somebody please explain?"
Mothfur was unexpectedly out of her den, shakily but hurriedly making her way to the small group of cats. She defiantly opened her jaws to speak strongly, however she only whispered, "Dawnkit..." sounding as though she was going to go on, but her face turned more sorrowful until she got silent.

Dawnkit stop in her words as she turned her head towards Berrystar. He was coming from his den, and as he sits and asks for an explanation ...she doesn't even bother to wait. Her entire body was still fluffed ...as she stared at her without any backing down.
"I am making a request to have Tigerlily join the clan." "I have ...grown attached to her, and if she isn't allowed ...I will be leaving with her."
Dawnkit actually kept it short and simple. The kit that was so shy didn't show any then ...as her ear flicks upwards and she looks at her quite solidly. Though as she felt the eyes on her, her head drops and she runs a paw through the dirt nervously as she sat down.
Her fur slowly lying down.
"I ....I had run away ....., and she found and helped me." "I thought maybe, I wasn't needed here ...that Starclan didn't want me here." "Without a Mentor, I could never become a apprentice ...a paw, and more so, you passed me over when you called for cats to become paws."
"It didn't make any sense ...unless ...I was never going to become a paw." "So, I ran away ...and I am sorry for that ...deeply sorry."
"But, by doing that, I ended up meeting Tigerlily, and I am not sorry about that." "I don't want to be separated from her."
She declares lightly, but with strength in her voice. Her tail flicking in the matter that showed her submission, but, she didn't uncurl her claws ...a contradiction.
Then she heard Mothfur's voice, and her ear twitched at the sound of her voice. SHe looked over towards her, and there was sorrow in her expression that was quickly mirrored by Dawnkit's.
If she didn't have every eye on her, she would have said sorry, but right now, she could nothing more than keep her eyes forward and steady as she waited for him to make the call. To say what he would say, as Dawnkit held herself strongly ...or as strong as a kit could.

Berrystar's eyes softened as he gazed at the confused kit. He didn't intend on her to react so badly to him not making her a paw yet.
"Dawnkit... of course you would become an apprentice. The reason why Sunpaw became an apprentice before you is because it's more complicated and can take more time for medicine cat apprentices." he explained soothingly, giving Dawnkit a reassuring and hardy lick on the forehead. Then, he cleared his throat, lifting his head high. "And about Tigerlily. Dawnkit, how could you be so attached to her? You haven't known her for too long, have you?" Berrystar questioned strongly, although, not challengingly. The leader took a small pause before going on, "however, you're a member of this clan, and I trust your judgment. Tigerlily will join StoneClan, but, we will have warriors watch over her until we can fully trust her."
Mothfur, still looking a bit hurt, jumped to her paws in joy. Dawnkit would stay, and at that moment, that's all that mattered to her. Dawnkit was like a daughter to her, and even though Tigerlily would replace Mothfur's role, her motherly instinct could not allow Dawnkit to go into the wild with Tigerlily.

Ashkit didn't believe her sisters words. She marched over and hissed at Tigerlily. "Why is there an intruder here and why isn't she gone by now?"
Windkit padded over to her sister and stuck her nose into the black fur. "Come on, it looks like things are being settled...""Fine!" Ashkit stomped back into the Nursery, heat from her anger still floating in the air. Windkit followed without another word.

Blackthorn had said those same words, and she lower her eye. It might be more complicated, but, with what had happen with Sunnybreeze ....she wondered if it wasn't more impossible than just complicated? That she would ever become a paw, but, then as the talk continues, she realized it no longer mattered to her.
If she never became a paw ....it meant nothing, if Tigerlily wasn't allowed to stay with her. She had fear in even making that statement, in even asking that question as her tail curls and uncurl around her paws. Her nervousness was showing through again.
Dawnkit then felt the lick, and was a bit surprise that the leader of their clan would share tongues with her. Though she said nothing as she waited for him to stop. Then she raised her strangely blue eyes to stare at him, the question she was sure that everyone would ask ...but for now, only the last part mattered as she smiled and turned towards the female cat.
There was nothing but happiness there ...but, then she saw Mothfur, and tried to look a bit more indifferent. She knew this might hurt the cat whom looked at her like a daughter as well, but, Dawnkit reminded herself.
She had her own kits now, she would quickly forget about her in time. Thus, she walks up to Tigerlily and nuzzled lightly against her chest as she purrs to Berrystar.
"Thank you."
