"Eh, we got over it. If anything the attack made us stronger." Casper didn't sound upset...whatsoever. It was just sort of weird...like he was a robot or something. That was life though, you morned for a week than got over it. Revenge was a distraction and incompetence was not acceptable. Being a hunter wasn't a profession, it was a lifestyle...and if you broke the rules or didn't conform to it, you'd die.
Casper figured he had been worth more alive than dead....at the time that is.

Luna sighed, he was definitely weird. He didn't even seem to care that people he loved had died. Then again who knew, maybe he hadn't lost anyone and just had his grandma to begin with. She didn't know. She did know that he may just not want to talk about it. So she would drop it and relax in the hot tub, maybe take a swim afterwords...

Casper relaxed and rested his head backwards against the rim of the hot tub. He wasn't looking forward to the next day. He'd be stuck in the house...again. He'd probably mope around...and get all stir crazy, and listen for distant heart beats, and have inner turmoil...and all that crazy vampire s**t.
He was sick of this already! Then again that wasn't news to anyone.
"Hey Luna, when you're a vampire, is it sort of like...being a human? I mean, do some of you guys like go out on dates and have families and stuff?"

Luna sighed, not opening her eyes or moving at all really. "Yeah.. well sort of. We go on dates and stuff. Find a partner, even get married. But we don't have families... vampires can't have kids, and turning children is frowned upon because they never grow up... just imagine a vampire child throwing a fit because he doesn't get his way." yeah, Luna had resigned herself to the fact that she would never have another child. "So I guess you could say it's like being a human, just with a couple of drawbacks and a few perks." she said and shrugged.

"I know that." He said regarding the whole no children, no turning deal.
Casper pursed his lips but shrugged, ready to have a miniature heart to heart. "I was thinking...If I, to be honest thoughts of killing myself run through my head every second, even now...but I thought, maybe if I lived a life that was acceptable, and I repented or something, I could just, carry on. You know, live life as a vampire...one that didn't hurt people." Even if Casper was saying it, it sounded unbelievable because of the tone he used. He wasn't adjusting well at all...hell he wasn't adjusting whatsoever.
He made it sound like a freak chance that he wouldn't kill himself eventually.
"And maybe, this would be the chance I had to be...normal. Well not normal but like, do something a person who isn't a hunter would do." Casper shrugged. "When I was human...I had, slept with girls before, and I had gone on dates with girls, but nothing was ever serious. I just didn't have the lifestyle of a man who could be concerned with girls. But now, if I ever get better, or stop being so fricken blood lusting, I might be able to find a nice girl and actually have a relationship...She wouldn't have to be my fourth cousin twice removed either."

Luna smiled, her eyes still closed, she was glad he could find something about the situation that could possibly be good. "Yeah and then once you feel better and you move out you and her can come over and visit!" she said cheerfully and popped up from her relaxed position to look at him excitedly.

Luna smiled and blushed, shaking her head. "I'm not a billion dollar girl." she said, still shaking her head. She sighed and shrugged, "Besides, I was never good at the whole dating thing. I was born when dating was... like a sin." she said with a chuckle "Aaannnndddd, so far all the guys that I can stand to be around and have potentially thought of as boyfriend material only want to get in my pants." she rolled her eyes.

"Fine whatever, million dollar." He said rolling his eyes. Casper huffed. "Everyone can date one way or another. If you're a boy yo buy a girl a drink and tell them they look really pretty tonight. If you're a girl you flip your hair and giggle at the guy's jokes for a while...it's easy! The whole staying together is what's hard." Casper wasn't sure he was really qualified to be giving Luna dating advice...because he rarely ever dated himself, but hey, he'd still be encouraging.
"And Luna, they're guys. Biologically we're built to breed, we can't help it. Our sex drive is amplified because of our hormone levels, we ejaculate and an alarmingly faster rate than women because we need to get the job done to get out mate pregnant in order to spread our genome and procreate. All boys want to get into a pretty girl's pants, it's how we're designed, but," he said about to reveal the silver lining, "most of us want to settle down and stick with one girl at the end of the day...especially vampires. In all my years, vampire couples were the biggest threat because they were so devoted to each other."
Right now he was suffering because of that very devotion.

Luna laughed and looked at him with a smirk. "I'll have to go try it sometime." she said before getting an idea "Oh! Maybe I can convince Salem to come and help me like... practice...or something." she knew that he would be more than happy to get into the whole dating scene with her, even if she wouldn't be able to stay with him because of his violent tendencies.
"... oh, but what about you? You have to make sure you find a girl who doesn't like violence either if that is the lifestyle your going for otherwise you'll never be able to follow through with it." she said with a nod.

He touched his chin in thought.
"I suppose so. I'm not going to worry about this now though...I've got more important things happening and a girl would just get in my way or get hurt."
Well he was being brutally honest here. Mental instability wasn't the place to start thinking about girls.

No she didn't know what that meant "Are you talking about his random killings?" she asked curiously "Because I know about that, and I didn't mean for a long term relationship." she shook her head vigorously "He is too violent for my tastes." yeah, even though the fluff could probably knock him on his a**.
She nodded at his last comment, excitement subsiding. "Yeah, and I can't worry about boys till you are more stable." she said with a reassuring smile. That wasn't entirely true, but she wouldn't be able to do much as far as dating and such went if she had to make sure Casper was ok the whole time. And she would worry too and just.. yeah.

"No that's not what I meant but yeah, that too." Poor innocent Luna, Casper thought she was better off in the dark at this point.
"Mmm" he said tersely in agreement. Casper was feeling a little better, but who knew when suicidal thoughts would sneak up on him? He knew he was feeling very very depressed so chances are wanting to die...which he already did, was right around the corner.
Actually a taxi was waiting to take him to suicide lane every minute.

Luna heard the tone in his last sentence and decided not to bother him about what he meant. Instead, she stood up and stretched, looking down at Casper. "I'm going to swim? Do you want to?" she asked, stepping out of the hot tub and heading over to the pool. If he wanted to stay in the hot tub though that was cool too. She figured that he would join her if he wanted to though so she took a running jump of the diving board, just enough to give her the angle she needed for her swan dive. Only with a little change where she didn't arch back up to the surface and kept swimming towards the bottom, where she would then do laps.

"Eh, I like the hot tub." He did...it was like a hot bath, but better. How crazy was that!?
Casper soaked up relaxation so he didn't see why he should ever leave the hot tub at all! He sighed and watched Luna dive off into the pool. He didn't know if he could even live a normal vampire life. Sure Luna ran and ice cream shop and did stuff, but Casper was active. Yeah he liked relaxing a lot, but that was became he was always working his a** off. He like his old job too. He liked searching for vampires, he liked the thrill of the hunt and he liked training and coming up with new attacks. Casper liked leading people, hell he liked having a purpose. If he did get better, what would he do? Bum around? No girlfriend would ever make that okay.
