"Not gonna tell ya." He grinned and stuck his tongue out at the other. "If I told you and you didn't like it, then you'd just turn into a bird forever more and I'd be left with no one to talk to." He took a few more sips of soup and then got up taking out a wooden cutting board and a knife. He took out the bread carefully and placed it on the cutting board. He brought that, along with some butter, to the table. "So, do you like the miso?"

Grumbling, Haro frowned deepily. He didn't even know what Shin could be hinting at. "I won't, a few bad things won't necesarily change my mind for good," he murmured, giving the taller male a rather obvious pout.
While Shin cut the nice smelling bread, Haro took a few sips of soup, stirring the miso with his spoon idley.
"It's...different," he said, having not ever had anything like it before. "It's good though."

"You'll still have to wait and see. It's different for everyone, you know?" He grinned and sat down, handing Haro a peice of bread. He was very careful with the knife as he cut his own bread. He nibbled the corner experimentally and then tore off a chunk and dipped it in his soup before eating that.

"Alright Kai.A much as I like you better without them on, you need new pants now." Kaho told him as he finished sewing the waistband of his now obsolete pants back together.Kai blushed somewhat and responded."I've got plenty of money now, I'll go get a new pair of pants and then when I get back we'll all go and get some food, alright." he told them.He glanced around at his kids and noticed that Misha and her sister Maya needed new skirts.He figured he'd pick them out a cute new skirt apiece whil ehe was at it.He left and ran to the nearest place he could find that sold cheap clothes.He rummaged through theselection and found a baggy pair of pants that would hide his thieving nature.He looked around some more and found Misha and Maya a skirt apiece, one with blue flowers and the other with pink, their favorite colors.he hurriedly paid fr the clothes and left again.Running back to the old buiding, he passed michael without realizing it.He recognized his scent but discarded the thought that he might have seen him.Yet again he failed to cover his scent, leaving a fresh trail for Michael to follow if he chose to do so.

Fiore sighed and walked down the street. He was alone again, why did always end up alone? He wondered how Kai was doing as he wandered down past some old buildings

Kai caught a familiar scent as he passed through the alleyways.It was one of the boys he'd met earlier.Had he been followed?He didn't want to ris it so he quickly made his way to the source of the scent.Leaping down from the department store roof, he landed in front of Fiore."Did you follow me?" he demanded, yet his voice still carried the same soft tone it had when he was talking to his kids.

Fiore eeped and jumped backwards, triped and fell on his butt. he yelped and looked up "Kai!" he said in surprize "follow you? No, i didnt even know you were here!"

He was a bit perplexed about Fiore not knowing he was here unti it hit him that he must live nearby.He voiced his thought quickly."Oh, I guess you live around here right?" he wasn't planning on anyone knowing where he lived with his gang but maybe this guy could help him and the other to find jobs so they could take care of them all.He wanted to make sure he lived near by though so he could talk to him when he needed to.

Micheal saw Kai for only a moment but used it to his advantage, the crowd began to get in his way and he took aslightly easier alturnitive; he changed into his full feline form. He ducked and weaved through ankles and followed anyone who crossed the street as not to turn into roadkill. Nearing Kai and Fiore Micheal slowed down slightly sniffing the air to make sure he was in the right direction. "Guess he went after him too." It seemed like forever before he reached him and he was out of breath, sure it was eaier in this form but it seemed like a lot more ground to cover becuase of the size. He sat at Fiore's feet panting.

"Micheal!" Fiore said in surprize, he picked him up and stood up, he turned back to Kai "yes, i do live near here. do you two want to go get something to eat? My treat" he offered

"Hey.." Micheal said between breaths, normally he would have done some struggling having been picked up and not enjoying it but today he was too tired to even bother. "Why... Did you run?" he asked looking up at Kai his ears droopping slightly.

"I...." Kai started but now that he thought of it, he really wasn't sure exactly why he'd run off."...don't know, really.".He thought of it and as his hands started to tremble he did something he'd never done before.He decided to show outsiders where he lived."Come with me for a moment.I have something you need to see, before you decide if you want to be my friends or if you only pity me and my gang." he took Fiore's hand and carefully set Michael over his shoulders where he could rest.He took them to the broken down old building the gang lived in."This is where my gang lives."Kaho!Bring everyone outside for a few minutes.".Kaho called back to wait a moment while he gathered everyone together.Eighteen people, mostly kids, and five teens walked outside."This is my gang, my family." Kai told them as he joined his gang."These are friends guys, I think." he walked inside as his gang started to chat with Michael, who he'd sat back on the ground and Fiore.Misha and Maya walked inside with him and he helped them to change their skirts."You two look fabulous." he told them and gently kissed their foreheads before sending them outside with the others.He ran to his room and changed into his new pants then came back downstairs.

Micheal glanced around at the kids his ears twitching for a moment, no surprise to him that the younger kids attempted to pethim and at first he ducked his head afew times before giving up with a defeated sigh. He was abit wary of speaking at first but guessing Kai had shown them or at least told them what he was he began to chat with the kids. Micheal was a tad shy meeting so many at once. His tail swayed back and forth on the ground.
