Kiyoko was happy because she would test someone for genin again. "It isn't anything complicated, I just need you to show me two jutsus. First, I ask you to show me one of the basic jutsus you learned in the academy." she said to Tar and waited for her to do any of the three basic jutsus.
(The three basic jutsus are Body Switch Technique, Transformation Technique and Clone Technique. Everyone knows those jutsus as long as they are in the guild and have a profile so just pick one of them and use it here.)

Her hands danced elegantly through the seal that created Henge No Jutsu (Transformation Technique) and when she finished the final seal her body flashed and a puff of smoke appeared around her. The wind rushed through the ally and a tall think women's body stood where Tarra formerly stood. She looked at Kiyoko and compared her to herself. They were exactly the same. "Excellent!" Kiyoko was surprised by the girl's performance. The girl that didn't look convinced she could learn a simple jutsu had just performed the transformation jutsu that is of the same rank with ease. "Now the next jutsu. I want you to use an elemental jutsu." she said. It would be easy for Tar since she just learned an elemental jutsu that is really simple.

--------------------------------------------------------- Tar smiled at the complement and muttered, "It wasn't really that good..." She then heard that she would have to preform an element jutsu and shrugged her shoulders. She only knew one and she had just learned it. But she would have to do it. She moved her hands through the seals in less than half a second while focusing her chakra releasing about 2/15 of her chakra. Three mud figures rose out of the ground and at first a mush of brown gunk formed into an exact copy of Tar. They copied her porcelain features exactly. Kiyoko was even more surprised. Tar made three clones with the jutsu she had learned before. "Very good!" she said to the girl who seemed to be anxious for the results. "You pass" with a smile, Kiyoko told her the results. "But you need to follow me to my office, I have to get a headband for you there." she said to the girl.

 Konaga ShinjiIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin"Well alright then..." Shinji said sarcastically to no one in particularly as the one who had asked the question had gone completely silent. In a way, Shinji couldn't blame him with all of the confusion that had been occurring, but he had better things to do then wait around for someone to comment on his own musings. Seeing several others around, but not particularly finding anything interesting for him to engage in, Shinji placed his sword back in it's clasp with a loud clank before heading back over to his training area.

Looking around however, there wasn't much left of it. The boulder he was training against had been thrown about 50 ft away, the tree knocked down, and there was a riverbed of mud of his own creation still present. However, his scrolls,albeit the case having been knocked down, still remained as he went over to them, taking one out as he began to pour over the scroll. "Earth Tremor Sense... eh? By touching the ground, the user can sense tremors or vibrations in the ground. These tremors indicate movement, which the user can sense, although he doesn't know who exactly it is. The range is half a mile. sounds interesting enough."
[Training - Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu (1/5) ]
Reading further, Shinji studied the hand seals and the appropriate details of balancing the flow of chakra and how to mold it as he sat down. At the very least, this jutsu training would be less intensive then the others, which was good as his arm already felt like it was on fire from the whole tree obliteration maneuver. also, it gave the distinct advantage of not having to bend down to the ground in order to touch it. Regardless however, Shinji was finally ready to begin as he closed his eyes and began to move through the seals slowly, positioning each one in his mind as he duplicated it with his hands, the repetition slowly getting faster and faster until he was ready to attempt the jutsu fully.
[Training - Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu (2/5) ]
Concentrating inward, Shinji gathered chakra to himself as he closed his eyes and formed the seals in rapid succession. Immediately he felt the chakra begin to mold inside him..."Doton: Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu" as the jutsu began to old, Shinji attempted to control the forces within him, finding that this one was slightly different then all the others in form. With a bit of effort, Shinji continued, feeling that the jutsu was prepared as he placed his hand to the ground and allowed his chakra to pulse into the earth. Leaving it there for a few seconds, he expected to feel tremors through the earth, but was unable to feel anything but the dry stone. "Hmmm... I guess that didn't go so well."

--------------------------------------------------------- Tarra walks into the training grounds and sits in the shade of a large oak tree. A couple hundred meters away, she sees a yound boy. "Who is that?" She asks herself and gets up to walk over to him. When she is only a couple meters away she looks and sees he is practicing a jutsu. "I'll talk to him when he's done." Makes sense though, it's more of a sensory thing then a physical affect. Perhaps a more steady flow of chakra would be better." Gathering his chakra once more, Shinji performed the necessary hand seals as he attempted the jutsu again... "Doton: Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu" Feeling the chakra mold once more, he took careful attention to allowing the chakra to flow properly as he placed his hand to the ground, feeling the chakra flow into the ground in pulses once more. after a few seconds he felt pulsations come back to him, his chakra reacting to tremors in the ground. Innately, he knew where they were coming from as he looked up in the direction to see several ninja training, feeling their movements as they leaped and stepped on the ground... sensing their every movement on the earth.
[Training - Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu (4/5) ]
"Sweet. Now I'll just increase the range..." Maintaining the jutsu, Shinji added more chakra to the mix of the routine, controlling it with his hand in a seal as he felt the range of the detection grow. As he did so, he sensed another set of feet, this time, a much lighter set, actually walking towards him. As he looked up to see who it was, it was the young girl that the Kage had been here earlier with. She looked incredibly young, and somewhat tiny compared to Shinji, but it had appeared that she too had become a Genin as he could see her headband shine with a glint from the sun. Having finished his technique and noticing that she had stopped, as if waiting for him, Shinji waved to her to see what she would do.

Shinji got up with a friendly smile at the offered hand and took it lightly, shaking it gently as he greeted her. "A mess? don't be ridiculous, you look fine. It's nice to meet you Tar. My name is Shinji. I see that you just got your headband... Congratulations! I actually just became a Genin here myself two days ago... or was it yesterday? it's hard to keep track sometimes when you're training for so long."
"So, whats your story?... how have you come to our fine village?... or have you been here all along and are just starting your ninja path? You seem kind of young to be a Genin, but then again... maybe I'm just a late starter myself." Shinji smiled, trying to make her feel comfortable as he could tell by how she was playing with her hair she was still slightly nervous. He wondered if perhaps the fact that he was nearly a foot and a half taller then her, and that he carried a sword that was roughly her height on his back would make her feel uneasy around him.

She studies him, his white hair, His tall thin body. He seemed to be at least fifteen if not older. HIs posture and stance told her that he was strong. Also it told her that he was confident. She then remembers seeing him train. He had his hands on the ground it was a Doton Jutsu. "Umm.. That was a nice jutsu! Was it Doton, If so are you a Doton Specialist?"
