Spotting that the green dragon still slept once they entered the cavern he'd left them at, Eclipse inwardly sighed with relief, he'd had his fill of conversing with dragons for the year. He reached back and used his snout to shove Kai off of his back, then he laid down and yawned. "Why don't you go see that other hume that was with the green one..make sure he doesn't hurt himself like you manage to.."

Kai managed to roll to lessen the impact when Eclipse knocked him off, "You didn't say that there was another person here before, I thought you meant two dragons.." He rubbed his knees as he spoke.

"I don't invite dragons to my den.. wounded are an exception..and humes just seem to find their own ways in.."

Kai chuckled, then wandered away from Eclipse over the other dragon and looked at it for a moment before going to look the person Eclipse mentioned.

"Like me? it's been a while since someone liked me," Anya suddenly didn't feel very tired any more, she sighed, "I feel rather inadequate compared to you dragons, the whole huge and powerful godlike thing and all."

Salkuriatha craned her neck to see where Silia was pointing. She then turned back to face her and inclined her head. "Thank you for your help and your caution." Salkuriatha dipped her chen down close the the water, opening her mouth and catching the water with the boittom of her jaw. She continue to lap up water for a while after Silia had departed. Feeling she'd waited long enough, and adequately refreshed, she moved to a place heavy with foliage and reverted back to Subira Brown.

Satisfied with gauging some of the opinions of both human and dragon, Subira headed back to her hotel room, where she quietly spent time finishing her notes and eventually lying down to rest.

Sa-ar quietly glided beside Grael. He did his part, he made himself heard, and the rest was up to everyone else. It was hard to really tell why he was following Grael, as he did not open up to defend himself or remark on her rebuttal in the least. Instead he just matched her pace, his body language neutral for the time being.

Grael slowed even further as she neared the settlement. She angled herself to fly slightly lower until she was just above the treetops, she swapped over to her human form before landing neatly in the treetop. She looked up at Sa-ar.

"I'm sorry to keep putting you off, but I must avenge someone I once held very dear. In order to do it correctly it may take quite some time."

Grael seemed to have regained her prior calm by this time. She gave Sa-ar a quick smile. "I will make sure that your patience is rewarded."

Tryst'n looked at the human and smiled.
"It's not so great being us; we're always being hunted. You humans are strong in your own sense."

"What Tryst'n says is true, young one," Ci'nala said quietly. "And as long as you don't betray us, you'll always have the protection of a dragon."

When Grael shifted into her human form, Sa-ar had to circle around her so tightly that after a while his tail was touching his snout. "It is odd. You, and other dragons, use your sapien form so often. I suppose with this... strange paranoia of humans it would be understandable." He didn't really have much to say about delaying their battle as he continued to circle around her. Being inconspicuous was clearly not one of Sa-ar's strong points.

"In order to walk on land I must use this form," came Graels reply. "Also, I am still nvestigating that lab. I must make sure there are no dragons trapped inside before I destroy it." Grael cocked her head to the side and pursed her lips as she looked up at Sa-ar. "This would probably go alot faster if I wasn't doing it alone."

Grael was unsure herself on what she wanted Sa-ar to do. A part of her wanted him to stay with her and possibly help. Another part of her felt he was much too flashy for such a covert operation as this.

Sa-ar continued to circle above almost like a vulture - although his intentions were far from scavenging. He was silent for a moment as he regarded his own form. "...Indeed, the lack of appendages in your primal form would make a human form more suitable for movement upon the earth." Of course, Sa-ar just usually slithered like a very large snake, ploughing aside his onbstacles in the process. He touched his tail to a sturdy branch on a tree, and shrunk down into his human form. Even doing this he was needlessly flashy as his form turned into a flickering silhouette of light before shrinking down into a smaller form, and then dimming until a pale but muscular human body was left behind, with wild locks of blonde and crimson tresses that would make an eighties hair band pale in jealousy. He sat, completely naked, upon a branch and looked down at his arms and feet as if it was new to him. "It has been a very long time since I condescended to use this form." He narrowed his eyes and looked across at Grael who was seated in an adjacent tree. "What, pray tell, is a 'lab'?"

Grael smiled when he asked what a lab was. From the question it sounded like he was going to help her. "A lab is a place where some of the humans gather to try and explain things humans have yet to grasp. In doing so they will capture anything they want and rather than eating it as is what hunting is meant for they desecrate the bodies of their victims. In some cases they take live beings and keep them alive as they run their experiments."

Grael didn't mind Sa-ar's human form. He looked wild, as humans were, in her opinion, meant to remain. She rose to her feet on the branch on which she had perched before jumping from branch to branch, remaining on her feet, in orer to show off as she climbed down.

Maximillion had not even heard the dragon enter the cave, nore the conversation that went on between him and the human who rode in on his back. This was because he was still working out his plan to form a campaign against the scientists who'd captured the dragons, and prevent them form ever doing so again... "Man this is not going to be easy..." He thought, giving a small sigh, his head falling a little bit as his gaze fell between his legs. His left sude wa facing Kai, so he could not see his replacement parts.
Time had all but become unnoticed to the lad, he had no clue how long he'd been in that cave, but it really didn't matter, he didn't have anyone on the island that would worry about him if he disappeared for a few days. All of his frinds and family were on the mainland, most having a negative view of the boy's liking of dragons, as they oll believed in the old tales that dragons were nothing but giant, scaled beasts whom feasted on villagrs and livestock. Max never believed these tales from the frist time he saw a picture of a dragon.
After a short while, he gave another sigh, leaned back and tilted his head up towards the ceiling, rubbing the back of his head with his left hand, muttering a little bit. "I wonder if Eclipse and Achiu would help..." He said, before seeing something out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head just enough to see a human a little ways away with his left eye. Max was still for a few moments, before his own words passed in his mind, "They'd have to go through me first!" At remembering those words, he stoos up quickly, spinning around and faced Kai dead on, the metal of his right arm glinting bits of light that hit it, and his right eye mostly covered by his hair that swirled around when he turned. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" He asked, looking ready to attack if he saught to take or harm the green dragon.

Flying back to her cave, she landed just in time to hear the end of Ci'nala's statement to Anya. "I certainly agree. Though I don't know where that subject came from." Walking in, she set the bucket down next to Anya. "Some fresh water for you. You should probably try to drink as much as you can to help replace all the blood you lost." She then turned her attention to include the two dragons. "So, anything interesting happen while I was gone?" She didn't really expect anything, but you never knew.

Achiu had been sound asleep, possibly nearly comatose, dreaming of his beloved Silia. He was flying to her and almost there when all of a sudden, the scientists were there between them. He tried to get past them, but it was impossible.

He jumped up awake with a deep growl shortly after Max challenged Kai. Still in his dream world for a moment, Achiu's head wiped back and forth a few times, taking in the scene. Slowly, he remembered where he was, but then he saw Max facing off against another human. "What is going on?" He could still feel a little affect from the drugs, but the terror from the dream and the startle had sent a mild burst of adrenaline into his system.

Sa-ar listened attentively, his face now fully capacitated to show expression. Yet, he still wore none. After nodding his head, he bounded down a few branches before landing gracefully, albeit in a crouched position, on the ground below. Slowly he rose to his towering height, furrowing his eyebrows. "So... you say humans have captured and desecrated the bodies of dragons? That is ludicrous. How could they capture a dragon?" He spat at the ground. "The gentleness and strange notions of human sentimentality of these other dragons must have been their downfall..." Sa-ar said, remembering a certain other dragon crying out angrily that a mate ought to be chosen for her heart, not her strength. Fool. Of course, Sa-ar was reluctant to admit he had been bested by humans himself. Sa-ar crossed his arms over his sculpted chest and regarded Grael for a quiet moment, as if she looked entirely different through the eyes of his new form, but said nothing more.

Kai stopped and put his hands up when the guy suddenly turned on him, he saw the glints of something on his arm and wondered what it was. "Hey now, we're on the same side buddy..." He glanced back when the green dragon spoke, "...well either just high tension or Eclipse set me up to be another dragon's snack.." He slowly started to his his pulse back to normal.

Eclipse chuckled and looked over at the two, "Easy Max, that is Kai, the hume I spoke about... He swiveled his head over to Achiu, "Just a bit of a misunderstanding, 'tis safe to rest longer Achiu.."

"The humans use horrid weapons that explode in the sea and on the sky as well as the land. They use these to penetrate the mighty scales of the dragons. Most of the times they have to kill them. When they come across weak-minded dragons like the ones on this island they are able to take them alive. It took a vast army of humans to take down my brother. He was able to kill many of them before being killed himself despite the fact they found him sleeping." This was the first time Grael had spoken of her brother's death.

She looked at the ground for a moment before her face hardened into a scowl. She began moving towards the human settlement. She would avenge her brother if it was the last thing she did.

Anya felt Ci'nala's phrase rather disturbing, she didn't know why thought, "I hardl-" she began but stopped when she heard Silia. She listened to the kind dragon, "you're probably right there, such a shame that water terrifies me if in any volume." Anya cupped her hands into the water and drank, she was very careful about this, if she got any on her clothes she would freak out.
