My free time has been sucked up by the marvelous world of Dragon Age: Origins.
That game is like crack. I sit down, intending to only play for a few minutes, and before I know it, two hours of my life have gone by. gonk

It's a rpg dark fantasy game.
Basically, you create your own character, who get's inducted into highly esteemed order known as the grey wardens to help with the current 'blight'. 'Blights' occur when dark creatures known as darkspawn come to the surface and attack. The grey wardens are responsible to help end these. Through a catastrophic turn of events, you end up having to build up an army and eventually slay the archdemon, which is (of course) a dragon.
I highly recommend it.
@ Kuno:
I contemplated buying ME2 instead of DA, but I chose DA because I loved Oblivion (which I found to be nothing compared to the greatness of DA), and because the commercials/trailers made me drool from the awesomeness.
Since then, I've played ME2, and it was actually a lot of fun, but fantasy>scifi in my book.

Honestly didn't like DA:O that much, I didn't even finish it...I'm currently rolling up ME2 for the 6th time xD

And I'm BACK!! Now with a fancier modem! xDDD With all that time off, I'm raring to go. ^^ And since it looks like the conversations are winding down a bit, this feels like a good time to get us to the town. mrgreen Edit: Also, I've just created a List of APCs on the first page of this OOC. I figured this'd be a fun sort-of side-quest for us all, to see what we learn about these less-significant folk. ^^

I have a better idea.
Instead of ME describing the setting and then everyone following after. How about I let someone else describe a major place. ^^
I feel like playing off someone else's creations for once, if someone is up for the challenge. mrgreen
Who would like to describe Mandor Castle Town for us? biggrin
There'd be a welcoming crowd with lanterns and cheering.
