Personality: Takashi is very much still a kid, and is an easy-going kind of guy. He rarely takes anything truly serious, but when he does, that switch in his brain flips and he becomes a calculating death-dealer.

Takashi was born in the mountain side village of Iwagima, son to a wealthy man and a bed-ridden wife, and older brother of a very talented sister. He acted as Takashi's definition of 'normal', pulling pranks every now and then, helping around the house, working at the local clinic, but at the age of seven, showed an extreme control over fire. His father hired a swordswoman by the name of Mion to train Takashi. This was where the fun began.
Takashi spent six years in the forests in the surrounding area, four with Mion guiding and training harshly, but effectively. This was when he learned everything he knows now about being a shinobi. The daily activities varied, from reconizing and understanding natural herbs, to sneaking into a bear's den and stealing food unnoticed. He also learned how to fight and defend himself, as Mion would often attack him without warning, usually after the first year with lethal force. After the fourth year, Mion literally left him to fend for himself for the next two years alone as a final test. He passed, barely. The memories still haunt him to this day.
Once he reconnected with society, he joined the Rock village, where he excelled as a katon shinobi and quickly grew in the ranks as the 'Salamander', as he often acted as a mentally insane pyromaniac during the fight portions of the exams, winning within the first minute of combat.
To better himself as a katon shinobi, he also visited the Leaf village for roughly eight years, give or take a few months, where he learned both jutsu and the Eight Celestial Gates, seeking a taijutsu style that focused on flexibility rather than brute force. He also picked up a few medical jutsu in an attempt to be both well rounded and self-reliant.
