"I.. I apologize." He turned his attention to Vempyremon when she tugged at his arm, "The doctor love? As you wish." He quickly peeked back into the room. Lance had a point. Akita needed rest after coming here. "I will return later then." He took Vempyremon's hands into his own, "Shall we go now?"
Akita sat quietly for a moment trying to piece together what was going on. "Could Lucus have called me here to tell me that he and Vempyremon are expecting..?" She really had no idea at all but figured she may as well throw the thought out there to see if it would get her any bit of information out of anybody.

Vempyremon gladly took Lucus by the hand and gave him a peck on the cheek. She still wasnt feeling very well, but she wanted to settle her paranoia, and the doctor was the only place she could go to to settle that. Of course, Aristocramon could have done that just as easily, but he isnt exactly present at the moment. Just because she's convinced of the serious intelligence that Cameron seemed to have, she decided to want to go visit him. Just to keep him company, too.
Lance watched the two off, while he whipped around at Akita's comment with a little 'irk' noise coming from his mouth. It may have been true, but Akita was smart and she could have started thinking about the many possibilities. She could have caught on. It wasnt Lance's place to lie, so he could only tell a half lie, or an altered truth. "N-no. NO. She's just fallen rather ill so suddenly recently. Weak, tired and hungry."

Akita frowned a bit, "It would be best for her to go to the doctor than.." Akita stroked her stomach knowing she herself would need some kind of doctor sooner or later once the little ones decided it was time to make their appearance in the world. "I really should keep a doctor on call at this point in time myself." She gave Lance a small smile before peeking at the door as Lucus led Vempyremon off.
Lucus walked her down the hallway slowly knowing she wasn't in the best of conditions, "I assume you'd like to go see that doctor who keeps himself hidden away? Cameron I think his name was.. I'm sure he if anything will be able to give us some kind of insight into what is going on."

Lance clutched his hands into light fists for a little bit, becoming nervous about the whole ordeal. Not just the secret-keeping, the fact that Akita may be close to labor, and he wouldnt know who to call for help or what to do. It wasnt exactly the best topic he wanted to talk about. "Which I why I think you need to be back with Kain and not here while I'm the only one with you.
"Nonsense." Vempyremon waved her hand, sure that no one else would know of what happened. It was in the forest. No one else was there...unless they were hiding, too, wanting to grab her at a chance of rape. It was just a horrible, horrible memory now, and she wanted to get to the doctor fast to see what he knew. Nothing probably. It was too early to even decide it yet. Vempyremon walked quickly instead of slowly, despite how worn out she was.

Akita frowned a bit knowing she wouldn't last the walk home at this point in time after how much it took out of her just to make it to where she was. "If only it where that easy.. And.. Lucus would far from approve of Kain being in his home as always.." She shook her head and slouched down a bit, "At least Ca-Talia is here.. She of the two would know what to do."
Lucus had to change his pace to keep up with her as the headed to Cameron. "Well it makes logical sense to me. You think something is off about this whole situation and, well, quite frankly Cameron is odd. To me all of the pieces of the puzzle fit together. No matter how good a doctor he is!" Lucus felt like he was rambling on at the moment as the walked.

Lance knew that part was true about Akita not being able enough to make her way back. Unless she was carried by some extreme brute force, she would have to stay there. Although, Kain was some extreme brute force... If Lucus was gone long enough, Kain would have a chance to get inside and get Akita. His whereabouts were unknown however. And even if Lance didnt find him, he would end up questioning his actions. "I'm sorry I wouldnt be of much help in that area...But is there anything else you would require?"
"Oh, leave him alone." Vempyremon wasnt fazed by Cameron's oddness. Everyone is odd in their own special little way. There usually is a reason behind it. He was a doctor. There was no way to assume that he was some kind of psychotic mad scientist. At that moment, Vempyremon charged into a run, but not before giving Lucus a punch on the shoulder to lighten the situation. She was playing keep away. Her lack of energy burst into a temporary playful state all the way to the doctor's office. That would surely make her feel worse, and the doctor would definitely say there was something wrong with her. Vempyremon managed to keep up the run all the way to Cameron's lab where she started to get out of breath. The ran against the door and tried to turn the handle to open it, but it seemed to be locked. The lights WERE on in the inside, so someone must have been home.

Akita shook her head and smiled. "I'll be fine for now. Starting to get the feelings in my toes back." Her ears twitched to a sound in the doorway once again.
"WHAOOO! SHE'S SO FAT!" Lanie exclaimed standing in the doorway point to Akita's stomach. She didn't mean to come off as rude but, this was of course the first time she'd seen somebody who was pregnant or for that matter, pregnant with as many children as Akita was. "Did you eat too much!? Should I stop eating so many cookies?! I don't wanna get fat like that!"
Lucus was kind of shocked by the outburst of energy, having expected this to be a slow trip to the doctor. He gave a sharp and heavy breath once the reached the office. "No answer?" Lucus made his way to the door and knocked hard "EXCUSE ME! This is urgent! By the order of the Royal court open this door!"

Lance, once again, turned his head towards the doorway to see Lanie there. Now that he know the situation was kind of safe, he'd let her through, but her reaction at seeing Akita for the first time made him feel embarrassed. "LANIE. No. You're much too young to understand any of this yet. The simplest way I can say it is that she's carrying young much like yourself." Though, eating so many cookies wasnt exactly a good thing either, which could also result in Lanie getting big like that. He didnt want to see that, and he didnt think her real father would like that too much either. If they ever met face to face. "I'm sorry, Miss Akita. This is Lanie. Lucus put my responsibility on her as a step father."
The door was quite large and metal as if to keep visitors out. It looked like it would be hard to open, too. But the door opened a little with little effort to reveal the small man peeking from behind the door to see who it was. Afraid that someone would walk in abruptly on his experimenting. "Such hostility." Cameron hissed and kept himself hidden behind the door. "I did not expect any visitors without a meeting of one ahead of time. What is this?"

Lanie made a bit of a weird face at the whole thing, her eyes not leaving Akita, "Carrying young? There are babies in there? Whaoooo how'd that happen, aren't they gunna die? How do they eat?" She was extremely full of questions as she darted over to Akita's side to get a closer look, "Can I feel em?!"
Akita couldn't help but laugh. "So in an odd way you've found yourself a child Lance." She smiled at Lanie, "Well you see, all babies start inside their mother. Their mother's body will take care of and nurture the young." She lifted Lanie's hand carefully and placed it on her stomach, "There are 6 little ones in there~"
"I don't care about your ahead of time crap. Vempyremon wanted to come see you so I expect you to see her now. She's had a bit of an incident and medical attention would do her well." He peered inside with a stern expression on his face.

Lanie's questions made Lance turn away. The entire scene made him turn away out of embarrassment. It was one of the things he couldnt handle. Questioning himself why he couldnt. "To answer your question, Lanie, yes, you will get that big if you keep eating cookies instead of healthy foods." He put a hand on his head and rubbed it a little, feeling the scars on his face and brought his hand back away from his face.
With a not so playful theme to it this time, Vempyremon punched Lucus again in the chest. "Dont be rude... If he doesnt want to see us, I guess we cant-..." Cameron interrupted with a squint back at Lucus, full of the same kind of sternness. "Only if you ask politely, I will open the door. She seems to be pleading innocent enough to enter, but right now, I am rather busy trying to cope with enough problems of my own." It didnt seem as if Cameron was willing to do anything at this point. The usual busy doctor. Vempyremon knew not to push it, but this wouldnt get out of her hair until she saw a doctor about it. And she pleaded with big puppy dog eyes. "Please...? I need help."

Lanie took to petting Akita's stomach with a huge grin on her face, "When they're out can I play with them?!" Quickly she turned to look up at Lance, "NO WAY! That's mean Lance!"
Akita giggles at both Lanie and Lance, "It seems like you have your hands quite full Lance." She kept one of her own hands on her stomach, "Of course you can play with them when they're born, as long as you're careful."
Lucus rolled his eyes at Cameron, "Just listen to her pleading to before I decide to say screw this and go hunt down Kain for causing this whole mess. I'll pay you whatever you want. Whatever funding you need!" He put a hand on Vempyremon's shoulder having completely ignored the punch aside from giving a small 'HUFF!' at the hit. "Please just let us in.."

Lance shook his head and put his hand to his face again, then brushed the hair away from the left side of his face back to the right to uncover the scars. He was used to his hair on the right. "No. I'm not being mean. It's the truth. You have to watch what you eat." He spoke silently still with his back turned against the two while he messed with his hair and tracing a finger up and down the scars on his face. They werent very deep, but you could definitely feel how deep and jagged they really were.
There was a long, long pause before Cameron even responded. Vempyremon almost responded first, but Cameron still insisted on speaking next. "...Kain. That no good-...I want nothing to do with that untrustworthy b*****d." Cameron almost shut the door again if it werent for Vempyremon who secretly tucked a rock in the way before he could slam it.

Lanie pouted, "But cookies are good Mister Lance.. How about I eat my veggies from now on?" She questioned him trying to look tough.
Akita laughed, "If I have to eat my veggies little Lanie, then you must eat yours. My mate wants to make sure I'm healthy and mister Lance only wants the same for you." Lanie went to mentioned that Lance isn't her mate but Akita cut her off, "Yes yes of course he isn't. He is a parent figure to you and a parental figures job is to make sure that their young are nice and healthy."
Lucus caught side of the rock and grinned, "Good call love. You honestly think I want anything to do with Kain either after he decided to rape my mate? Let us in Cameron! This is urgent! I wish to know if she is alright and she herself would like some reassurance. I've already ushered Akita back to my manor away from Kain and for all I know she could go into labor at any time! So please let's just do this."

"You can still eat cookies and eat your vegetables. Just dont overeat cookies. Or any other sweets. No matter how tempting it is." Lance crossed his arms, still keeping his back against everyone and looking towards the doorway. He seemed to go off into his own state of worry until that faze was shattered as he heard a loud bang coming from somewhere off in the manor. Lance stayed still, wondering if anyone else heard it or not.
Cameron paused more and looked at Lucus, then at Vempyremon. She cleaned herself up a bit ever since the struggle, but she still had scratches all over her body. He looked at Lucus again as if to try and read what's going on through his eyes. Again, looking at Vempyremon. Then moving back out of the way of the door so he could open it. "I dont know when this was, but I think we need to talk without a door in the way." Vempyremon made her way in who dragged Lucus in, where Cameron shut the door firmly and locked it with several large, heavy locks and bolts. For his safety.

Lanie's ears perked up at the bang, "Did something fall down..?" She questioned leaving Akita's side and running to the door where she peered into the hallway. "Hey! You have to be quiet out there! The little babies might be sleeping!"
Akita watched Lanie at the door, "Now now I'm sure the sound wouldn't bother them at all, come back in and be calm. Surely it was nothing serious. For all we know Devri decided to try to break in for something since nobody would let him in."
"About time.." Lucus mumbled as he was dragged in by Vempyremon. He watched Cameron do up all the locked with a raised bow. "Geeze... Anyways quickly. If you don't mine me asking, why is it that you so suddenly hold ill will towards Kain? If it wasn't what he did to Vempyremon then what could it have been?" Lucus glanced around before looking at Cameron, "He is an idiot though so it technically could have been anything."
