Roan looked at plague with a nonchalant look on his face. He didn't give a damn what the man said nor did he care how he was threatened. Although, after a bit, he couldn't help but smirk slightly. The man was a damned ungrateful b*****d. He'd just saved her life without getting the police involved, which would have happened if they'd brought her to a hospital for gun-shot wounds. He watched the man give Silver money and thought about just leaving. He just stood in the background and shrugged, waiting to see how the girl known as Silver, would react.

Cameron sighed, she didn't want to leave Mia, but she didn't want to fight with Aaron either. "You wait behind." she said to Roan, not wanting him to slow her down. She snatched the money and jumped out of the first story window. She flew to a Burger King and walked inside. She ordered 10 burgers and a salad for Mia. She flew back again, and in through the window. It hadn't taken more than a few minutes. She threw 2 burgers at Aaron and 2 at Roan. She set the salad on the table and began to gobble down her 6 burgers, which was a light meal for her.

Plague put the burgers on the table and slid them to Cameron, "I'm a vegetarian and I'm not hungry." he said, "I meant food for you three." Plague waved his absently and continued watching Mia. He was worried about how much blood she had lost and the fresh wounds.

Roan had to hold back his laughter towards Silver telling him he'd be the one to slow her down. By the time she'd gotten back, he could have gone to multiple places across the worlds and she was calling him slow. He didn't really care though. The less they knew, the better. When she reappeared, having left Roan in a awkward silence with Plague, he caught the burgers and set one down. "Thanks." He said, throwing down a couple bucks. He took a bite out of a burger and stepped forward, phasing out of sight and reappearing a few miles away, still chewing on the burger. He swallowed and looked around, feeling the rain pelt him once again. He shrugged and started walking.

"I got a salad too." Cameron muttered through a mouth stuffed with food, roughly tossing him the salad and wondering where Roan had gone off to. She sat down on the couch and placed an extra pillow behind Mia's head. Aaron's face was ridden with worry. "She's going to be okay Aaron, everything will be fine." she wanted to comfort him but she was afraid to touch his deadly skin. She quickly walked to the kitchen and came back with two beers. She tossed one at Aaron.

Nali and Blade were now walking back to her apartment, and Blade wouldn't shut up.
"So who have you been fighting lately? And why were you so late? And why can't you help me with my homework? And mmph..." He was interrupted by Nali slapping her hand on his mouth.
"Shut-up..." Nali snapped, removing her hand. "I'll help you later and a lot of people." she then opened the door to her apartment. "Now drop your stuff on the couch, and we'll go on patrol later, O.K, Blade?" she said, walking over to her desk, and starting her own homework.

He scratched his chin and looked up to the sky for a second, pondering her question. It wasn't so much a difficult one, but a deep and insightful thing to think about. He wasn't good. That was for sure. But he didn't see himself as bad either. He just did things for himself. It didn't matter what it was. If he had a reason to do something, like getting paid or just surviving, he had no morals. Coop had been raised like that.
He grinned and touched the top of the girl's head, shaking his hand back and forth, ruffling up her hair. "Can't really say on what side of that compass I fall on, kid. I do what's best for me, whether it's good or evil," He answered. "So? Where do you and ol' Hikaru over there fall?" He mischievously grinned at Hikaru when he asked this. Hikari thought for a moment and smiled. "Well, I don't have powers, so I can't really do much of anything." she said with a nod of her head and looked to her brother, awaiting his answer.
Hikaru flinched again at the sound of his sister's pet name for him... "Don't... call me... that..." he said through gritted teeth and looked away at the ground, listening to his sister's response. She was much too innocent and good... It warmed him up inside... Made him feel better and he managed a weak smile before he looked up. "When he saw Hikari looking at him, he sighed. "I will do whatever it takes to protect my little sister," he said in a stern voice, his eye contact hardened, and focused at Coop.

Plague looked at silver and smiled, "I'm underage, can't you tell?" he chuckled, showing her his driver's license that clearly stated his date of birth, "Nineteen just last week." he chuckled weakly, opening the beer anyway. He took a sip and started eating the salad quietly.

"Hey, just cause you're underage doesn't mean you can't enjoy life a little bit." Silver laughed and winked at him, suddenly thinking about how much younger he was than Mia. She cracked open her beer and took a gulp. She finished off another burger and began to rumage around the shelves for something to do; all they could do for Mia now was wait. "So, looks like you've got yourself an older woman, eh?" Cameron's half joke comment was directed to Aaron but she was secretly worried that him and Mia had slept with eachother, couldn't he kill her or something?

Plague smiled, "Yeah, I guess. It doesn't really matter to me, age. Don't worry, just because I used my powers every time I touched you at the precinct doesn't mean I can't touch people. I can control my power, just like you can control your flying or your super strength." he shrugged, taking a bite of his salad and picking up the money Roan had left on the table, "Keep the change by the way." he added.

 Mia winced in her sleep, a searing pain in her side and arm waking her. "What the hell? Whe-where am I? Cam?" she questioned when she opened her gray eyes to find Cameron and Aaron sitting close to her, eating delicious smelling hamburgers.

Normally, Cameron would refuse the money, but she really needed it. "Thanks, I'm in a pretty tight spot right now. I'm getting evicted from my apartment tomorrow." I'll be a homeless druggie again in no time she thought. Cameron found the game 'Life' on a bottom shelf and quickly snatched it up. "Hey! Look at this." she wandered back to the seating area and began to set the game up. "Want to play? I'm going to be blue." she asked as she took the blue car from the old, dusty box. When she heard Mia she sprang to her feet and rushed to her side. "Mia, you're at your home, are you in pain?" she pulled Mia's body upwards gently into a seating position.

"A lot of it," she moaned as she looked down at her side and then at her arm. "I can't believe they got to me," she mumbled, her hair falling and hiding her sorrowful face. "And they got away..."
She sighed and looked up at Cameron, knowing that she was the one that helped her through everything. "Thanks for everything. I don't know how I can repay you for your kindness..."

Cameron hated to leave Mia's side but quickly raced into the kitchen and returned with 2 Advils. "Here, take these." she handed Mia the pills in her weak hand and her glass of water on her stronger hand. "Mia, there is no need to speak of kindness. I did what any hero would do." Cameron spoke softly to the pained Mia. She spun around to Aaron and quickly snatched the salad from him. She turned back to Mia and placed it on her lap. "In case you're hungry." Cameron said and waited for Mia to speak more.

Aaron put the beer and salad down immediately and turned to Mia, "Mia? Are you alright?" he asked, worried. Aaron looked her up and down, no longer able to contain his worry, "If you need to go to the hospital just ask, I've seen people die from less serious injuries." he added, not noticing the salad snatched from him.
