Elistral steered them towards the square through an alley. So far, the fighting had stopped. But that couldn't last forever. "There's some stairs to the top, but in your condition--" She looked at the wounded wolf."--it'd be best for you to wait down here." They already crossed, and were now standing at the bell tower's wooden door.

-The light came down upon Strider and Mal like a head light on a stage. They were both badly hurt and breateing heavy-
Mal: "You shall never win brother!"
Strider: "It's you who won't win Mal. Your anger and hatred has twisted your very soul. I dare say your more damned then I am."
Mal: "Enough talk. Lets finish this!"
Strider: "So be it." -Strider took a defensive position-
Mal: -Mal charged and flew stright for him- "AHHHHHHH!"
Strider: -A black tear came from his left eye- "I'm sorry." -As Mal neared and slashed Strider ducked it and made two swords then stabbed Mal in the heart the gut and theneck all in one fluid motion-
Mal: -Mal had a blank expression on his face and began falling to the ground streaming black feathers as he went down hitting the ground hard-

nera sat up with an odd feeling riseing in her stomce. she looked around smelling the air."kiro!" she said to her self as she took a drink from her silver bottle that holds the blood she needs. she jumped up and ran to the edge of the wood looked around and ran to the village hopeing she dosent get caught by protecters.

-Strider flies down to Mal's limp body- "Oh Mal. You were so consumed by hatred you blinded yourself to the truth. We were the last of our kind. The last of the seven you fool! We were supposed to help the world not destroy it!" -Strider falls to his knees and begins to cry. As he is crying his black angel wings turn into white angel wings- "Your lucky you know that brother? Your part in this story is over." -Strider looks into Mal's open blank eyes and closes them with his hand- "Mine has only just begun." -Strider's wings refold and he gets up and walks away-

((It's all good. =3))
Elistral didn't hurry that much while going up the stairs. She was tired from what all took place. The bell was in the middle of the top of the tower. The rope hanging from the rafters was old and worn, but was still strong. She grasped it in two hands and pulled down forcefully. It rang out, waking people up from their sleep. She yawned, putting a hand in front of her mouth. The sky looked like it was lightening up, was it dawn already? She shrugged and leaned up against one of the four pillars in the corner, resting her eyes for a moment.
Verin patted the wolf's arm and shifted around on the stone steps. "So, you're not evil anymore." He looked out at the town square, listening to the bell's peals. A few people were coming out, alarmed and sleepy. Then he laughed suddenly. "Want to try one of my riddles?"

-As Strider walks away Mal's hand twiches and then he shoots up and stabs Strider in the back-
Mal: "Foolish of you to think this was over brother."
Strider: -Strider just stands there with his mouth open and blood comeing out and Strider falls to his knees with his face in disbelief thinking: "No. It cant end like this......it cant end.....like......this." and Strider breaths his last breath and his eyes glaze over with the sword through his back on his knees-
Mal: -The skies closed up again and lightning struck and Mal laughed a maniacaly insane laugh. For now everyone who ever knew Strider felt one thing. Strider had failed. Strider had died-

Elistral shifted a bit and started to slide towards the floor. She was jolted awake by a cold shiver down her spine, goosebumps on her arms. Rubbing her arms, she rushed down the steps to where Verin, Remus, and Rayne were. "Did you--" She cut herself off, then bit her lip to try to keep calm. This feeling of dread--did it mean? The sky became ominously dark again. She bent down and slipped her cloak off the wolf's shoulders, feeling around for Strider's book, shaking it roughly when she didn't find it. Strider? she thought tentatively. She put her cloak on, fingering her brooch and still biting her lip.
Verin looked up at Elistral. She was acting weird, and the townspeople were too. Their looks of alarm became more common throughout the crowd.
