I recommend adding plenty of opportunities for the paladin to screw over the party by stopping the adventure every twenty seconds to help the downtrodden.

Designated Hero I recommend adding plenty of opportunities for the paladin to screw over the party by stopping the adventure every twenty seconds to help the downtrodden. stare I'm all for helping the downtrodden, but if the Paladin wishes to bring the campaign to a grinding halt like that then he may find himself waking up with numerous sharp and lethal objects in his back.

I'm sure Tarak can carry around a couple of littler folks, allowing you to help as many as three downtrodden while on the go.
...we totally should have gotten a horse and cart.

Psychofish ...we totally should have gotten a horse and cart. I am a horse. ...no, seriously. I was considering spending my remaining gold on a cart to drag the loot around in. Since large, metal men do not get tired.

I think we need to get people on Vent and try things again using voice communication. (Consider than an invite to get on Vent right now if able.)
In addition, I think we need to try and figure out a loose schedule. Smaller parties make it easier to get together to do this as well, which is another reason I was pushing for 4 or 5 people.

Or you could always try to use a RPG-esque 'rotating party' system in which members swap in and out of the active party depending on who's present while keeping roughly equivalent experience levels.

I have a horse (and I suppose we have Josh), but I was too cheap for a cart. I needed moar alchemy reagants. But yeah, I'll probably buy a cart sooner or later.

As long as Josh is pulling the cart, we might as well let the horse ride it, get fat and lazy. Good for eatin' when we inevitably get trapped in some cave or snowstorm.
