Kirak accepted the help and glanced back, "..we should hurry.. How about..if anyone asks, we've got special orders from the La Vaes.." Kirak picked up the pace a bit more, he had a bad feeling about the last guard.

Edge nodded and began to run, not merely pick up the pace, but sprint through this damned place. He could normally run faster or as fast as an elf, but because of the armor, he was probably moving a little bit slowly. He would be able to handle it though. "Let's hurry!" He rushed past guards who looked at them as they ran, but didn't stop, just kept running.

Kirak kept pace with Edge, not long after they started running a few dragon roars echoed through the halls followed by a hollow voice
'two prisoners are attempting an escape, one being the Heritor, capture these two at once by order of the La Vaes. They are not to be killed.'
Kirak kept going, but glanced at Edge "We still have an advantage...they can't kill us.." he still kept his voice low to keep up the disguise.

Edge chuckled slightly and picked up the pace a bit. "Got that right, so..." He reached down and removed his signature nihonto from it's sheath, holding it with both hands as they basically flew down the hallways. As the guards drew closer before them. Edge slashed forward, cutting straight through their armor and leaving a bloody mess on their face and armor as they ran past. "Keep running!!"

Kirak glanced the the sword he carried, then took the blade from it's sheath and cut down guards as well. Though his sword skills were a bit clumsy at first, he was quickly getting better as they went, "..do you even know were you're going?"

Tonas ((And I assumed that since Fyrlandt is due south of the fortress, then everyone would automatically head south and pass through Deephallow, the border town that is currently the front lines for the war. Klaudnir knows the city in particular, but everyone should know the land lol.)) "Right then. Southwards it is. We'll travel down the Merchant's Way 'til we reach Deephallow. Once we get ta the city, we'll need ta get to a safehouse or the sewers as quick as possible."
The dwarven priest put one foot in front of the other. They were to save the Heritor of the Shining Force. A task that the old dwarf intended to accomplish even if it cost him his life.
Delaine walked with the others, feeling some exhaustion but not willing to show it. Just wait... Seeing that Deephallow wasn't very far she stopped, looking to the rest of the group, Klaudnir in particular. "Alright, since we're here we might as well look for a sewer hole nearby." It was wiser to go underground from the outside than in. She looked around, scanning the area for any of the Fyrlandtian or Noswaldian forces.

((Not really. I don't own this particular version of SF, so, as far as the topography goes, I'm fairly clueless, Deephallow was made up by me, however, Deimon informed me of the layout of the land, so the front lines of the war happened to be in the middle between the two. I was under the impression that I was the one out of the loop of info. I had simply thought that everyone who was here originally was informed by Deimon of the same information and that I was the last one to know.))
Klaudnir uttered a quick spell, his eyes shifting to their ethereal light forms, then gazed towards the city. His mind's eye now capable of far sight.
"Fyrlandtian forces occupy all of the city with the exception of the gates themselves, currently there is a small contingent of Noswaldian soldiers holding their position there. The closest entrance t' the sewers'd be the western entrance, about a quarter mile from here."
He paused and turned to the north to the main road and nearly fell over as he gasped and tried to catch his breath, as he struggled for air.
"I-It's.. it's him! Th-the devil o' an emperor 'imself... He be comin' ta Deephallow with an army! A small one, b-but with him at its head..."
A dark visage had appeared in his sight, one that not only resisted his prying eyes, but retaliated against him even at this distance. That sinister grin shone through even the astral plane. Never before had his companions seen the old seasoned dwarf so visibly shaken.

((Haha, well, I guess that makes me feel better ^^))
"What?!" Delaine walked over to Klaudnir, offering her arm as support. This is bad...we need to pass this city as quickly as possible... She remembered the Emperor himself as she had seen him. A vision came to her briefly as, through the eyes of a young child, Grimwald was the epitome of the perfect leader, the man you could count on. But that image was soon stained by the blood she had seen spilled in this war. "We need to find that entrance immediately." She indicated the point where the rest were to follow. If the Emperor finds us we may engage in battle...that would put us at a disadvantage... Even if they defeated the small army that accompanied him, the Emperor she knew was a master of physical strength and immune to magic. Her spells as well as Sora's would be useless.

Ella stretched as she woke up from her sleep. She yawned lightly and stood up. "Better get going." She said as she gathered her things not realizing she had gone to her demon form. People started to scream when they saw her come out of the room. She gasped. "Oh, no." She quickly dashed out of the building and into the streets. She caused quite a fuss with the villagers. "No... I 'm not going to hurt you!" She said truthfully, but no one believed her.
"Ow." She took the skies once thing were thrown at her. 'No one ever believes me.' She though taking off to the highest place she could find. Ella landed on a ledge of an open window.She took this chance to go back to the human from. "So close." She looked down and jumped landing on in the building. 'This must be the emperor's place. It's huge.' She began to walk the halls.

Sora just stood there confused. "The emperor? Is he not nice?" Sora asked confused. He doesn't remember anything about the emperor or anything about what was going on with the countries. "If he isn't on our side we probably shouldn't be just standing here...." He said trying to usher them on

Klaudnir nodded his appreciation to Delaine then looked utterly baffled at Sora.
"Lad, ta face Emperor Grimwald Iceheart in battle is t' face death itself," he began solemnly," There are few, if any who can match his skill with the blade, as he's transcended the power of mere mortals such as humans, elves or any other civilized beings. Even demons from the lower planes fear his gaze. His weakness is his strength. While he has no magical power beyond the blade that he carries, he hates all sorcery with a passion that consumes his soul. Because o' that, there is very little magic that can pierce through his natural defenses... It's almost as if he's the avatar of some dark god walkin' the planes. Even the La Vaes of Fyrlandt would barely have a hope of defeating him, were he to be close enough to fight her in single combat."
The aged dwarf shook his head for a moment and recomposed himself.
"Though I could'na agree more about the haste-part. We must press through now before the battle that is sure to come."
He pointed to the sewer grate that was now within sight.
"There's our entrance."

"Why is he so bad?" Sora questioned. "If you were on his side shouldn't he probably be viewed as a hero or something..." He asked confused. "and why does he hate sorcery? And does that mean he hates me... just because I use magic?" Sora was riddled with questions but as soon as Klaudnir pointed to the grate, he flew up to the grate and used the power of his wings to lift the grate and opened up the entrance "... C'mon Hurry!"

At Sora's words Delaine was almost transferred back in time again. She saw images fly past her -- walking in the hallway of her house to see a small painting of him on the wall, the formality as he visited their village to recruit troops, the way he lead the troops as the Emperor of Noswald with her brother marching behind him. "Yes, he is viewed as a hero. But only to those who have not seen all of the bloodshed in this war..." Delaine murmured as she entered the sewer entrance, looking back in case anybody was following them.

'Yes M'Lady.' he bowed and left to join the search for Edge and Kirak.
