I myself will apologize for posting fluff... nearly all I wrote was irrelevant.

kisuke0sama Not too much fluff right? *points to last post* I hate to bring this up, but unless you followed Isis and Adie to their old dorm room, you wouldn't have heard the story, just that Isis was going to tell Adie what she knew about the fight between the Brotherhood and the X-Men, that lead to this memorial. EDIT unless your character heard the same rumors...

The original fluff post was done by my friend Libris. She agreed to let LJ and I use it for this guild. I just tweaked it to fit our situation. We have a big fluff issue in GRiMMERY...

I agree with the fluff announcement...I think it takes more to not want to post so much fluff. I admit that I do it, on a daily basis when I talk, and it might spill over when I post. But this is a guild that is very helpful and I like each and every one of you. I consider you all family and I hope you do the same. Regaurding Isis, I will work on my posts more, but some of the fluff feels like it needs to be there even if it is a memory or something like that...

Agreed on the fluff, as is I'm simply skimming most of the post during the fight for Gideon still. crying I missed some good action. Agreeably though I'll have to try not to get carried away on the introversion of my character to much. Although personally if the posts are within a 2-6 paragraph range, I'm usually able to read the bulk of it and keep up with everyone else. Which is saying something cause I have horribly slow reading speed.
Anyway, back to reading what's happened up until now.

We all are guilty of fluff, but it's going overboard right now. Even as guild captain, I have a hard time reading posts because it's a lot of fluff.
A good rule of thumb is to try to write what you need to write to build your character and move the story along in a minimum of 2 paragraphs and if possible, no more than 5. This isn't exact because sometimes we need to write more than 5. (Especially if we are writing plot moving actions)
I would also like us to try to cut down the joint posts. There really is no reason everybody can't write their separate parts with their own avatar and their own account. Once in awhile it is fine, but the growing trend just really makes things cumbersome to read.

Hey guys, in regards to my character, you guys can have whatever relationship with him. You can be his best friend or worst enemy... but try and go with the former, shall we?
