Confussledness... A friend of mine reserved a place and asked me to come there and.. we can't build a house there. It's reserved, she's got some sort of town permit, but.. we're stuck. She's been posting for help on the other boards to no avail too. Hmm!

Unfortunately there is still a space left in my neighbourhood! Which means there is a chance for one of you lot to coe live beside Me, Lass and Whip.

Meow, is the space your friend reserved a full neighborhood? Meaning, did she spend the 1000g to reserve the entire neighborhood for friends? Or did she just go to an empty neighborhood with 6 green spots, pick one, and wait for you? If it's a neighborhood reserved for friends, you have to be on her friend list to move into that neighborhood, and you may or may not have to click the link in the Aekea Housing Commission to get a (free) town permit. I've had avi's move in who never got that free permit though. If you're just moving into a vacant neighborhood, you should see a Vacant sign that you can click and then Build House or something like that.
Lass, let me know the address of this purkle neighborhood and I'll add it to the lists!

From what she says I figure it must be the neighbourhood she reserved.. she spent the 1000g and the house plots say "reserved". When I click on them they say "for sale" and "build my home!", but when I click build home it just makes mini-me curse and nothing happens. So.. there's some sort of error involved..
I've got my town permit from before, but it's not showing up in my inventory.. and Josie says there's no more available (which I assume means I've got the one I need).
Hmm, need to go back and see what the address was.. We'll see if this will work at all. razz There's a bunch of vacant houses to the right of this place, we should've gone there in the first place, LOL! biggrin Who knew it'd be this troublesome this way! razz
And thank you for your help.... biggrin heart Without you I'd be tearing out hair thinking there must be some step we're missing.

Honnie!Bunnie Can you hold it until I get home? If not, call my cell in a few minutes. I can't seem to get to where you are. I click on the directory and nothing happens. This computer here at work is strange like that. i had that trouble last night with AOL! worked fine with IE though, i was worried that someone would pinch one of my spots before i got all my mulies ensconced, but i managed it ok blaugh

Bumping this WAY back up to the top! That's ok, it's unlocked for a reason!
Jade saw me playing in towns today and wanted to do so too. I told her again her account is banned until she turns 13, and she keeps asking why, or saying "please could you let me, just once?" and I explain I have no choice, but that she can run around towns with SweetPinkBubblegum instead. Unfortunately, she really likes dressing her avatar too, and I won't let her change bubblegum's look.. maybe I'll have to look into making a new account for her to dress up in.
I wish Gaia would let us give parental permission for accounts under 13, and just have them disable the forums, comments, journal, and in-game chat, so they can still fish or run around towns or dress themselves or play other games.
Also Jade wanted to visit her house, so I looked up the address, and Jadepup's house is still there in town and everything intact inside it, thankfully.

Can we relocate if we want. I wasn't sure how that whole placing your house thing worked. I've placed my home, just wondering if I can relocate and find a place that has openings that could be homes for other purkles who want a purkle neighborhood! I should really let my Wicked alter-ego know that she needs to get a move on and participate too.... xd

What we can do if someone wants to fill those spots is to coordinate when the 2 people are both on and have someone stand guard at the newly vacated spot until the desired purkle fills it. I remember we did that when neighborhoods became available and we were trying to reserve neighborhoods for each other. I don't know exactly how relocating works though, as I've never done it, but I'm sure it's pretty self-explanatory once you start it!
