((ah, I was wondering about that, I just figured Nerd was drowning her sorrows in a beautiful woman. Much like she drowns her sorrows in alcohol XP))

(lol, nope, going to the tavern was to drown her sorrows in alcohol before drowning her sorrows in a hail of bullets. the memory switch was in place since the vampire thing)

The cook raised an eyebrow, "I tried, she threatened to blast some lead in my mouth, I learned not to cut off people like that...." He grinned, "Unless you have a lie to cover it up. Don't tell her." He smiled, pulling a beer from under the bar and handing it to SN. He never ran out of alcohol, he just went low.

The cook winked and took a jug from under the bar, taking off the cork and taking a swig, "My personal stash." He explained with a smile.

The cook grinned mischievously, "Aye, too true lad. Luckily the mercs don't ask questions as long as they have food and booze, and Zain made sure we'd always have both." He winked, stoppering his jug and putting it away once more.

The cook chuckled lightly, "Aye, to the captain, and the lass of a second in command Rene, who keeps us on our feet and wishing we were girls!" He laughed uproariously.

The cook smiled, a warm friendly smile. Out of all the mercs the cook was one of the kindest and most well liked of all of the mercs, his portly laugh and friendly warmth had made sure that everyone in the mess hall stayed at a friendly, happy mood.
