"I agree, but I have definitely taken a lot of abuse for it from other foxes," he said, looking over at her. He could tell he was going to be really happy here, the foxes seemed to have more of the traits he was so often mocked for then they did in other areas. He was really more comfortable here and loved that feeling.

Karin smiled. "Like I said, it is a really peaceful place that Lady Kazuyo has created and most the people here want to keep it that way and not lose it. They would rather not hunt then cause this place to collapse and no longer be a safe haven for creatures of all sorts to come to." Karin explained.

"Well, then I am very glad there are not a lot of avid hunters here," he said. "So, where do you want to head off too," he asked her, waiting patiently for a response and sitting silently as he did. He was very calm and felt very peaceful here, so he was in no hurry to leave.

Karin smiled. "You seem to like it here. So why don't we just stay here for a while and relax. Besides, we have been walking for a while and it would be good to get off your paw for a while." She led him over to a mossy area near the water and lay down.

He nodded, and then laid down on the moss beside Karin. He looked over across the water, amused by the fish he saw in abundance underneath the surface of the water. He stole glanced at Karin from time to time, but was generally just looking at the water and resting.

Karin, content in watching Teithi, eventually drifted off to sleep. She slept for hours and woke up to her stomach growling. She blushed and looked at the river. "Well, we can catch our own dinner, or do you want to head back to the mansion?" she asked, yawning and standing to stretch.

"I think we should probably head back," he said, hating the idea of hunting. He looked over at her and waited to see if she was ready to leave. He was in no hurry, because he did love this spot, but he was happy to leave also, because he knew he could always come back.

Karin nodded and started to lead the way home, knowing the way better than he did. Soon they were back at the mansion and heading into the kitchen where she went to the fridge, nudged it open, and pulled out a plate of fish for the two of them to share, setting it on the floor and closing the fridge.

Teithi waited patiently for her to take a few bites before helping himself to some fish off the corner of the plate. He looked over at her and smiled. He did not eat much before he walked over to the side and simply sat, he had not been that hungry. He enjoyed watching her, she was very lovely.

Karin smiled as she finished the last of her fish. Then stretched. "Would you like to rest some or would you like to do something else?" she asked him willing to do whatever he wanted to do so long as he was happy and not over doing it to reinjure himself.

"Why don't we do what you want today. My leg feels fine, so I am up for anything." he said, smiling over at her. He really loved Karin and he wanted to spend sometime doing the things that made her happy, instead of just whatever she asked him if he wanted to do. He felt that she was working really hard to make him happy, but all he needed to be happy was her.

Karin laughed. "I am fine so long as I can spend time with you. Normally, I would in the health area, but things have been quite lately and my help has not been needed so I am free to do whatever. Why do we not check out the library? I am sure there is something in there that you would like to read?" she offered.

"I like to read a lot, so that sounds great," he said, smiling at her happily. He waited patiently for her to lead the way to the library. He had not been there yet, so he did not know how to get there. He was eager to see what kind of collection the library had, and curious if it had any T.A. Barron, because he loved the Merlin series

Karin lead him to the library and quickly scanned the area. "Would you like a tour? Or tell me your favorite types of books and I can lead you directly to those sections of the library so that you can find a good book. We have all sorts of genres so feel free to name any that you like." she explained.

"I realy enjoy T.A. Barron, but I enjoy trying out new authors as well. Do you have any suggestions?" he asked, tilting his head as he waited for her to think of one. He was curious what she liked to read, and was hoping she would pick something she liked so that he could get a better idea of her interests.
