They'd really gotten the movements down by now. Ed allowed them to sink into instinct, in case she ever had to dance again (and considering the existence of a Host Club and the parties they whipped out, most likely she would have to dance again). Not needing to concentrate on the motions, she instead allowed her focus to drift to the bodily warmth they were sharing, the sway of two in one pair.

I can't wait to spar with this guy, she thought, not considering what her mind could have meant with that statement.

Aran laughed as Siegell was singing all the songs, but stopped when a newcomer came in and challenged him to a dance off/sing off. I hope Siegell loses, mainly because of the flute Then Zelos kept telling everyone (mainly the girls) to come up to the front. Except he stopped smiling when Siegell destroyed the sound system. He didn't blame him, that song sucked anyway.

Alihi crossed her arms across her chest. "Zelos, how many times do I have to say that I'm not a princess?" She shook her head, a frown coming to her face. "Don't be rude. This is my friend, Abel!" A small smile and blush immediately replaced the frown when she grabbed Abel's hand and held it in her own.
"He's... uhm..." The blush got a shade darker. The tactician didn't mean to speak as if she was going to go on about Abel, but she was a bit too nervous to make something up at that point or to say what she wanted to say.

"... Uhm, a-anyways! Can you let us both in, Zelos? Please?" She gave Zelos a nice, innocent smile, hoping that would persuade him to say "yes". If not, she'd just turn around and leave. There was no way she was going in that booth without Abel.

When the song ended, Ed had stopped the twirling and stepping. However, she wasn't certain of how to proceed — she stood there, hands around him as though they were expecting another dance. In truth, Ed was finished dancing, but she didn't exactly want to leave the wyvern knight's presence. Not yet, anyway.

She stood there awkwardly, looking up at him, before deciding that the best resolution was to cling to his arm like a child.

"Uh... Well, I'm done... Off we go?" The girl worked up a grin at Valter.

"Nice."

Ed took a new glance around at their surroundings, suddenly more aware of the intricate design of the whole festivity. She took notice of how neatly arranged the holly was, where the mistletoe had been discreetly placed, the patterns and images in the ceiling and floor (if there were any)...

Wait...mistletoe!?

Ed glanced up over their heads and let out a sigh. No mistletoe. She liked him, but she wasn't ready for that kind of stuff. Just the thought of it was a bit embarrassing.

She kept close to his arm, letting him lead the way this time.

Naturally she was curious, but Ed didn't bother to ask where they were going. She figured it would sound a bit rude. The girl simply followed Valter wherever he went, loosening her hold on his arm somewhat so they wouldn't walk as clumsily, and she took the time to look more at her surroundings.

Siegell and that morph had planned to have their competition another time, right? I wonder when that'll be...

Then she began to remember exactly how tiresome last night's search had been. Her body's aches returned, reminding Ed that she hadn't completely recovered from looking all over the forest and then reverting to her natural form. Nope, she didn't give herself much of a chance to relax.

Valter said he didn't mind, but she did wonder exactly how tired he had become from the search as well. Yet she remained quiet, following the knight to no apparent destination.

"Hm? Ah, it's not a problem."

She rubbed her shoulder somewhat out of awareness that it was sore.

"I wouldn't mind finding someplace to sit down, though."
