Looking at the monk who had stirred Gabrielle's emotions and despite showing that he was of divine allegiance, Dimitri couldn't rest easily as they conversed.

He had simply nodded when his dark love had introduced him all the while listening to his story.

"If you were indeed sent to watch over Gabrielle, I can assure you that she is more than capable of holding her own in battle as well as judgement in life. I walk beside her for far more than just the comfort of company, I am a shield and sword. Your master's efforts are appreciated I am certain, however they are unnecessary, we face a foe beyond anything ever fathomed. It is unfortunate, but one single stone thrown into the river of opposition that now stands before the world will have little effect in the current state of the realm."

The Holy Knight turned to Gabrielle and spoke softly.

"If you wish it, I do not mind his company beyond support, however this man's life is in more danger than our own, or any of the others whom have gathered here under their respective knightly banners."

Mori murmured inarticulate as she picked up on some rather... well, she'd label them at best as slimy...thoughts. Waking up more, she gave up on trying to stay in her sleepy mindset. Struggling to sit up against the force of Jon's hold, she managed to prop herself up without digging anything into him, though it looked more intimate than she was comfortable with among others. "Is it just me, or are mornings even more annoyingly bright here?" she murmured huskily as she shifted her hair to fall over her shoulder, creating an impromptu curtain. She was hoping he would loosen his hold of her so she could sit up a little better. The reminder of strangers' presence had her wanting to get organized for the day. Plus, she felt Puck stirring and wanted well away from a cranky demon.

Shifting on to his back, Puck whined in his half-asleep state. He had felt it when Anlu left, and the change in conditions had pulled him from sleep. His telepathy was annoyingly aware of her, and he picked up the words I like and the association with another male. It was all it took for his instincts to stir. Shifting into his human form in his half-awake state, Puck sighed softly as he stood, brushing sand off of his coat, a navy blue trench he had taken to wearing. He also reached up and ran his hand absently through his hair, which was now much shorter, cut in shaggy layers to the nap of his neck thanks to his aunt's shears. Once feeling properly neat, he walked over to his favorite girl and drapped himself casually over her, resting his head on her shoulder as her wrapped one arm around her waist and rested the other on her empty shoulder, letting her feel his weight without making her support it. He looked at the stranger in a way that was both lazy and threatening, his smile far from comforting. "New friend, Kitten?" he asked far too casually for it be taken as such.

Jon released what hold he had of Mori, having at least learned to do that much, and rolled over slightly still trying to fight the sun light. The brightness was rather annoying here but the reasons were obvious. Back home their little house was surrounded by trees that provided some shade and there were curtains for the rest.. The same could not be said of here. Finally he gave in to the beckoning morning as he rubbed his left eye with his left hand while groaning. A small grunt left him as his chest rose and fell with a breath, "Should have brought a tent. Could have at least been able to ignore it a little longer." He was groggy, it was rather obvious. He remained prone, now with his eyes open staring at Mori with a dumb smile and half asleep still.

Hearing him comming from behind, she gave a small sigh. Woke him up again. That was the last thing she wanted to do. He needed his rest and he couldn't get that when he was watching over her all the time. Feeling one arm around her waist and the other on her shoulder as his head rested on the other, she put one hand over the one her had around her waist and the other touched his face lightly. "Did I wake you up again?" The small, blind girl bit her lip. She felt bad everytime it happened. Looking up at him, then to the snake man, she gave Puch a childish smile. "I wouldn't say friend. Perhaps new aquaintance?" I just noticed he was snake-like, so the first thing that comes to my mind when I see a snake is poisons... You know how much I like to mess with them She leaned herself against him slightly, raising the hand on his cheek up to where his hair was, and back down again.

"Keep an eye on me...?" Gabrielle raised an eyebrow but her voice was soft. The old monk Emilien was worried about her. "Well I am glad to hear that Emilien was fine enough to worry about someone else. She took a better look at the young monk.

As Dimitri raised and spoke, Gabrielle stayed quiet. When he spoke to her in a whisper, she smelt his scent and wished for an embrace, but the time was not to cuddling anymore. The soft kisses they exchanged were treasures that she would keep with her and would probably remain the only tokens she would allow herself to gather for the moment.

She turned to the monk. "Eliono, I thank you for your help and Emilien's kindness but for the moment we need all the hands we can gather to fight a much greater evil. We are here not just to protect one life, but to protect the world." she paused and screened him. Was it fair to involve him in that war? Some other knights were much younger than he was and all the knights had received the call. She was surprised he did not.
"You may stay if you wish, but your mission would be the one of any Holy Knight here present: protect the lives of all the inhabitants of this land, may they be from any faction, any race, any age and defeat the growing chaos." She stopped again.
"If you prefer not to remain with us. Then go back to Emilien and thank him in my name for his consideration and friendship." She smiled briefly before returning to her serious face.

She gave Eliono a short nod and turned back to Dimitri. Her eyes crossed his for a second and she had to fight the urge to reaching for him. Instead she passed him and picked up her things, getting herself ready for the day.

Shiroka had felt something warm on her feet during the night. But she did not know what it was. As the first lights of the day came, she had felt presences shifting around her. As she decided herself into opening her eyes, she noticed that the monk and the blue water boy were not there anymore. She blinked and decided to walk along the beach and pass the hill. She wanted to be a little away from the group and hoped to find peace over there.

Shiroka discretely stood up and walked away from the group, she quickly stepped up the hill and down to the other side. Feeling happy to be alone. The fresh breeze of the morning was playing with her white hair, the same way it created foam on the surface of the ocean. The young maiden took a deep breath, her eyes half closed and her arms wide open. Nature.

A noise on her side stopped her day dreaming and she looked more closely at the surface of the sea. The water was clear but not calm at all. Splashes here and there, Shiroka was a little surprise and she exclaimed with her soft gentle voice. She could see columns erupting from the water and she quickly walked towards the shore, closer to the water. She had never seen something like that before. "What is happening?" she asked to herself, although she was not expecting any answer.

Denian decided that it was time to give Gabrielle a hint to who he was. "Lady Gabrielle please looks this way." Denian didnt wait for her to turn twords him he held his palm up and lighting started to dance along his palm like it did back when he first started to learn his power back at the monistary. Making them dance exactly as he did back in those days. "You should reconize this."

Though Vergil did not sleep in the traditional sense, the puppet could cause itself to enter a state of dormancy for a time if it wished to. It felt awkward around so many people it didn't know, and it had at first been wary of 'relaxing' However, even while dormant Vergil knew it could take care of itself and before too long its boredom had been too great to bear. Returning from its dreamless dormancy the puppet shifted from its slumped position off to one side.

When in a relaxed state, its face slipped into a caricature-like happiness. This was the Vergil equivilent of passivity. As it caught the first few words and emotions this expression changed to a strange twist of painted on colors and enchanted wood. It sensed irritation, Curiosity, and a few other things the puppet had no name for coming off the group. Twisting around, Vergil recognised its friends, Puck and Anlu, and a strange newcomer who poor startling resemblance to a snake.

Puck appeared to have to situation in hand, but his heightened emotional state concerned Vergil. It wished it could read minds the way the Half-Demon could, but so far the ability had been beyond its grasp. Gently it pulled several strings, which had come loose during the night, back into their normal place around the peppet's extremities,, then it lumbered over to stand beside its friends.

"It hopes it does not bother, but it is concerned." Never one to mince words, the puppet simply fixed Puck with its unblinking yellow eyes.

It had been some time since Saul Tyrus had had them opportunity to visit the beaches of the shimmering coast, but he still found them to be just as beautiful as he remembered. Stretching his wings a final time, he folded them back using his inherent abilities to make them disappear entirely. Standing as a human would, Saul raised the hood tucked into the upper portion of his breastplate and approached the camps even as he knew most of them to be asleep.

Though he kept his face hidden, his indentity would be no secret to those that knew of him at the very least. Emblasoned on the front of his armor was the Tyrus family crest, and hanging from his hip was his uniquely crafted longsword with its curved handle. Even as he approached, he rose his hands in signs of peace to any who looked his way, his sharp eyes searching out the delicate form of his favored blood relative, Nina.

Stirring slightly, almost back into atleast a half sleep, that those waking were making it hard to get into, Nina sensed another angelic presence... only unlike that of Neo, this one was quite familiar to her. Opening her eyes, sheglanced around and saw a man in a suit of armor approaching the group. With a smile, and completely renewed energy and enthusiasm, Nina jumped to her feet and ran towards the man who was her uncle. "Uncle Saul!" She waved to him as she continued to run, only to plaster herself to his brestplate. "It's been forever..." Her dark purple eyes gleamed with joy as she looked up at him.

Saul was unable to keep the grin from tearing across his face as the girl plastered herself onto his chest with nearly enough force to make the sturdy night stumble. Nearly enough. Instead the knight brought him arms around in a great bearhug, lifting the girl from her feet only to return her a moment later. He normally wasn't one for such blantant displays of affection, but it truly had been forever since he'd seen his neice. His green eyes were still filled with joy even as he spoke.

"It has been that, young lady." He began, his deep voice lacking the bite it had for nearly any other person. "Do you know what worry you put me through?"

After she had been put down, she stood up straight, held her hands behind her back, and gave Saul "The Look." Big, round, purple-puppy eyes with the pouting mouth. "I didn't mean to worry anyone... honest..." Those words were quite true. In fact, she didn't think anyone would pay any real attention to her being gone. It's not like her parents went looking for her. "Did you come all this way just to find me?" She wondered if he had heard the call too. Either way, scolding or not, she was happy to see him.

His old heart melted before the awesome might of nina's "TheLook" and he found himself unable to hold a grudge, after all he handn't come all this way to argue with her. Folding his arms over his chest he gave her a placating look.

"Truth be told, I was called here... though it was my hope that you might have been as well." He shrugged. "After I returned from my duties, I tried to locate you, but I didn't think to try down here at first. Naturally my brother was of little help as well."

Though she kept a stright face, she had the inner "YES!" inside of her, knowing "The Look" had worked... as usual. Nodding about being called, she turned to look at the sleeping fol. "The vast majority of them came after sunset. It's nice to know that all of the factions have gathered, despite the differences." Heaing that her father really hadn't bothered with anything, she steeled herself and shrugge. "It's only to be expected. No one wants people getting in their way... especially those with bad reputations..." And boy did she have a bad reutation. Not that any of it was really her fault... it was just there.

Turning back aroun, deciding to just change the subject, Nina looked back up at Saul with a small smile on her face. "So, did you bring me anything from your travels?"

From the mist of the morning, an enshrouded figure crept out of the stand of trees, hands wrapped, face cloaked, not an inch of his body wasn't swathed in fine, gray material. While he walked among the sleeping, he looked about for those awake. Acting as though he was searching for something, he rifled through his pockets until he came across a matte black bottle, opaque all the way through, he looked inside, as if inspecting quality, one would assume he was verifying the quality of a bottle of port, feeling satisfied, the dark stranger took a long drink from the large bottle, an acute observer would note that he seemed to not even need to breathe from the length of time he took his drink, that still being a hard thing to notice with him in all his heavy wrappings and clothing.

Vinas slept, still, the fatigue of the day prior had not yet washed away from him, sleeping, in his breastplate and sword in hand, he had a soldier's mind even in his sleep...

Hasslar nodded to Ragion as he made his introduction. The Yuan-Ti watched carefully as the wolf man spun his staff. Hasslar conceded that this one was quick, but such displays of bravado often denoted that one was compensating for a lack of skill. He decided that he would have to test this Ragion... His eyes flicked to Anlu as she introduced herself. Her name rang a rather large bell in his mind.

"Of the Black Briar, you sssay?" he commented as the corners of his mouth curled into a cruel smile, "I know sssome who would pay a large sssum for your capture..." He let the thought hang as he emitted a raspy chuckle, then, opened his mouth to speak again. "Worry not, princccessss," he said, straining to hide the contempt in his voice, "I have no love for the Briarsss... Alssso, bringing you in would do nothing to advanccccce my posssition within the Dark Knightsss... My loyaltiesss lie not with coin... Only with my massstersss..." With that, Hasslar unstrapped his sword from his back and began to affix the sheath to the hilt with leather cord. When he was satisfied, he turned again to Ragion.

"Sssshhhhhall we begin?" he asked, already beginning to flex and stretch his imposing muscles to warm them up for the match.
