Rhea growled softly, only over the excitement. He wrapped his body more around Aras licking her check softly. He hated seeing her upset and in pain, "Arrras....walk?" he suggested softly. Wanting to ease her trouble.
Kanis sat up, awaken by Corrah's words now. She had caused trouble again. She knew there was nothing she could do. Would Corrah get angry if she tried to defend her brother? Was he only testing her?
Ruran's head was tossed to the side with the smack though he he did not cry out this time and the tears in his eyes quickly disapeared with a cruel glare. "I am at least an elf....And our blood joining would only prove to remove our mother...same if I were to take Aras....her body is far better than that of Kanis after all...though she has a call dog."
He growled at the spit now laying on his cheek. He wanted to attack Corrah but he knew he would be unable to do anything to the larger man. "And I have not taken her yet so I have not taken her purity. Why do you want that honor sir?" He cried out at the kick to his shin and stood holding it.
"Your the sick one, I bet you want both my sisters, train them to be lackies just like your human whore!"

Armus might not have had elvish hearing, but she did manage to overhear Rhea's words to Aras, and she moved over to them quickly, laying a hand gently on each of their heads.
"Stay here," she murmured, leaning close so that her mouth was right by their ears and she wouldn't have to speak loudly. "You'll be fine ... just stay here, both of you, I'm here with you, I'll take care of you."
And she stroked their heads tenderly, shielding them from Corrah with her body.
Aras was slightly soothed by Armus's calming voice, but she held Rhea tighter anyways. She wanted his nearness to protect her. She need him ...
Corrah grabbed Ruran by the hair and pushed him towards the forest in the direction away from the others.
"Move," he growled, his scarred knuckles almost white from his grip on the boy's hair. "You can think what you want, boy, but you are the only pervert on this mountain. I couldn't care less about your sisters, and Armus can do whatever the hell she wants."
He walked quickly, not caring if Ruran was walking on his own two feet or if he had to drag him by his hair. He had only been so angry once before, and even he was amazed by how his rage was filling him, fueling him, giving him a strength and power even he had not known he had.

Rhea nuzzled Aras and looked up at Armus. He nodded his head. He knew they would be safe if the alpha female's arms but he was still very confused and worried. Why was their alpha freaking out so much. Rhea had done more to Aras than Ruran had to Kanis right? "Rhea get yelled at?"
Kanis stood up now looking worried watching Corrah drag her brother off. She bit her lip. IF he was going to be punished shouldn't she? She looked over at her sister and Rhea in Armus' arms. She felt rather alone, and knew she could not just run off after Corrah and Ruran. "I...guess nap time is over."
Ruran grabed ahold of Corrah's wrist to lessen the pain of being dragged by his long hair. "Then why are you letting it get to you then" he tried to find something to cut his hair and free himself before this growing headache got much stronger. He was so going to get Kanis for this!

Armus smiled faintly and shook her head at Rhea. "No, Rhea," she murmured softly, "you're not going to get yelled at. Don't worry." She stroked his hair gently.
At Kanis's question, she looked over at her, then left Rhea and Aras alone and moved to sit with Kanis instead.
"No," she said quietly, pulling the blanket over Kanis once more. "Go ahead and sleep. You need the rest."
She smiled faintly. "Don't pay attention to Ruran and Corrah. Ruran ..."
She hesitated.
"... needs to learn what is and is not acceptable, and if he will not learn from being told, then he will have to learn another way." She cupped Kanis's chin in her hand and smiled warmly. "You just rest, and when you wake up again we'll get you settled in your new home."
Corrah glared at Ruran. "Because like you, I have some concern about elvish purity and honour," he snapped, "but unlike you, I have a good solid head on my shoulders and I know what real purity and honour are, and you are as far from that as it is possible to get! If I have to beat it into you, you will learn what it is to be an elf! It is not the blood but the attitude, the actions, the honour, the choices that you make and the way you act with those around you! You want to keep our small race pure, and yet you actively refuse to learn what it is to be an elf!"
He kept going at the same pace, not caring at all that Ruran was grabbing his wrist. It actually made it easier to drag him along. They were covering ground quickly, but Corrah paid that no mind. He knew where he was taking Ruran, and though it would take quite a while to get there, he knew the others would be fine with Armus.

Rhea nodded and licked Aras' cheek. "Rhea protect..." he said softly and smiled at her. He wanted to bring the young elf comfort. He smiled and taking her hand in his moved the hand under the modified robe and laced her fingers in the thick warm fur of his back. It seemed his fur always calmed her.
Kanis shook her head, "If they will be a wail then we really should start the beds now and clothes." She said with a sigh and smiles, "Will you help me Armus? Maybe it will cheer Corrah and Ruran up if they come home to a clean camp."
Ruran saw one of Corrah's daggers in his pants. "I am young so of course I don't know what is right or wrong! And who says I am not learning?" He grabbed one of the draggers and in a quick shift and a grunt cut his braid leaving a handful in Corrah's hand and an odd short patch in his hair.
He stood crouched the dagger held in a reverse hold on the blade. "What should you can what I do with her? It is not hurting her and no one else wants her!"

Aras blushed as Rhea moved her hand into his clothes, but when her fingers encountered the fur on his back she relaxed and closed her eyes once more, gently running her fingers through the fur and up and down his spine. She didn't know how, but he always knew what to do with her, how to calm her, how to make her feel better ...
"Thank you," she whispered into his ear, slipping her other hand around him - but outside of his clothes - and hugging him warmly.
Armus smiled at Kanis and put one hand on her shoulder, giving it a warm, reassuring squeeze.
"They won't be coming back here, sweetie," she murmured softly, "and you and Aras won't be staying here either. Corrah wanted to move all of you to a new place, where the training will be easier and more beneficial."
Not to mention, the sleeping arrangements would be more private ... and after witnessing what she had, she knew that privacy was going to be necessary ... and perhaps a problem.
Corrah dropped his handful of Ruran's hair to the ground, barely reacting at all to the boy's actions.
"I say that you aren't learning," he replied angrily. "You refuse to obey my word though you promise time and again that you will, you do not listen to what I have to say, you allow yourself to be distracted by your own petty thoughts and sentiments - you are weak, and every action you take only reveals more of your weakness!"
He held out his hand, palm upwards, in a gesture that said clearly that he wanted his dagger back. He knew the risk he was taking, but he didn't care.
"Now," he snarled, "give me my dagger, brat. If you do not know right from wrong, here is one lesson: taking what does not rightfully belong to you is stealing, and stealing is wrong. In many places they would cut off your hands for stealing. If I thought you were worth the energy I would kill you for it."

Rhea smiled and moving his arms around Aras' waist, "Anything for Arrras." he said softly. "Rhea protect....even from alpha." He promised her holding her closer. The feel of her fingers working along his fur sent fire threw him. He knew that it was only her fingers he wanted to touch him like that.
He was not the alpha but Aras would be his alpha female and his life mate. He knew this to be true deep down. Even if she would not be his physical mate she was his soul mate. He would be glad just to get a pet from her and remain by her side.
Kanis looked confused. "Somewhere else? I see...well should we start packing the stuff here up then?" She looked at the ground and smiles, "Is that where you were all this time?" She asked.
Ruran glared. "I have not promised and I do what you say, you did not say don't touch Kanis. You think I am weak but I do not." He looked at the blade then at the hand. He knew that this dagger was his only protection and he knew not to attack the other man, his aching head told him that.
He turned the blade around holding the sharp end in his hands and handed it to Corrah. "Its not my blade anyway....I just wanted to get free."

Aras smiled softly, her head lying against Rhea's breathing into his hair and taking in his scent. Her fingers continued their work in the fur of his back, pressing harder and softer, holding him tightly to her. She felt a warmth fill her at Rhea's words, and she knew that she would always be safe with him around. She wasn't quite sure why she would need protecting from Corrah, but even so she was glad for Rhea's reassurances.
"And I would do anything for you," she whispered into his ear, nuzzling her nose into his hair.
Armus smiled at Kanis and winked playfully. "I've just been getting a few things ready for Corrah and all of you ... somewhere completely different, though. But seriously!" She laughed. "Sleep! You need your rest, Corrah's going to let you recover from your growths today, but tomorrow's going to be nothing but hard hard work and a lot of it! You're going to need all the energy you can muster, trust me. Now that you've all grown, he's got a lot planned for all of you."
She rubbed Kanis's back gently, smiling warmly down at her. "Go on," she said in a soothing voice. "Just take a nap. Even if it's a short one. You need it."
Corrah raised one eyebrow as he took his dagger back from Ruran, sliding it once more into its usually hidden sheath in his half-robes.
"Well then," he said, his tone growing sarcastic, "forgive me, I didn't know you hadn't promised."
He knelt to Ruran's height and stared straight into the boy's rebellious eyes. "But if you don't make that promise this instant, and if you don't keep that promise, then I will leave you to yourself and we'll see how well you survive on this mountain ... because the animals will not be the only ones hunting you."
He held out one hand. "Blood promise," he said firmly, waiting for the boy to place his hand in Corrah's larger one.

Rhea laughed softly and licked Aras' cheek. "And Rhea you." he said softly. He was really enjoying this. He finally shut his eyes and started to doze a bit.
Kanis looked a bit shocked but nods and sigh, 'Alright...I guess I should sleep then. Will Ruran be okay?" She shut her eyes using Armus' leg as a pillow now. "I don't want to let anyone down. And I want to show everyone I can do it." She sighed again and was already drifting off to sleep.
Ruran looked at Corrah. "What do you mean? What am I promising?" He hissed and looked at the hand. "I will do what you say to get better. I will beat my sisters. But unless you give me a good reason I will not just give in and not go after a girl." he hissed again and sighed. He was only a child after all and not fully aware of things. "What is a blood promise?"

Aras smiled and closed her eyes, her fingers still working in Rhea's fur as she herself drifted off into sleep.
Armus smiled at Kanis and continued to rub her back gently. "He will be fine," she murmured softly. "And I know that you will make everyone proud. You are strong, and you are eager to learn ... and that will take you further than you know."
She wouldn't be surprised if Kanis turned out to be the best trainee of the four, simply because of her desire to do well.
Corrah didn't even blink at Ruran. "You are promising with your life to do what I tell you, when I tell you, for every moment that you are my trainee," he replied matter-of-factly. "You give me a few drops of your blood as a reminder of that promise so that you don't do anything stupid, and the mark that you will receive from it will serve as a reminder that if you break your promise, you will be punished. Discipline is a large part of any training, and as you don't seem to listen without harsh discipline, this is the only way I have any confidence at all that you will obey my every word."
He continued to hold out his hand, though he was beginning to grow impatient. "Now," he ordered, "give me your hand."

Ruran did not like this one bit. He didn't like having someone above him or with something to hold over him. He had done everything the scarred elf had asked, maybe a bit slow, but he had done it. Why was he the only one to have to shed blood on the matter.
He grimaced but he placed his hand in Corrah's. It was only as long as he was a trainee. But after that he would tear the mark from his hand. He would just have to start planning his revenge a bit more carefully.

Without giving Ruran a chance to react, Corrah took his dagger from his half-robe once more and made a small cut in the boy's hand, across the top of his palm, just below his fingers. Before it even began to bleed, the dagger was back in its sheath, hidden once more.
He held up Ruran's hand, turning it so that the boy was forced to look at his own blood.
"Remember this," he said firmly, standing tall once more and letting go of Ruran's hand.
He had placed the cut in a very painful place (not that it would be very painful now, but later, during training, it would be, from gripping daggers, knives, swords, and any other tool he needed to use) in order to make sure that Ruran would constantly be reminded of the promise he had made, as well as the threatened consequence if he broke that vow.

Ruran cried out in shock and pain and as soon as Corrah let go he pulled his hand to his naked chest and tried to stop the pain and bleeding. Stupid Corrah. He was beginning to utterly despise him now. He would so make Corrah pay when he could! He hissed and cradled his hand to his chest tears in his eyes.

Without missing a beat, Corrah grabbed Ruran by the shoulder and turned him around so that he was facing forward again.
"Now keep walking," he said in a slightly calmer tone, "and we'll get to your real training."
If real training was what Ruran wanted, then that was what he was going to get. No babying. No showing weakness. He would take it or he would learn to show real respect without having to be told.

Ruran looked at him, "no I wanted to rest with my sister...not train right now!" he hissed but walked. "And now I want to fix my hand up!" he grumbled. Stupid Corrah.
