Hello there~ I'm new to the guild but I'm not new to cosplaying! I've been cosplaying since the summer of... '01? Damn, that makes 5 years... I feel old. sad I've had numerous costumes since then~ many of which in the beginning were made by my mom. I'm Mina, I've been cosplaying for about a year (very off and on). I whent to Anime Expo last year and I absolutly loved it! I've been doing fairly simple cosplays for the most part, no wigs, no wepons, that sort of thing, but I'm just starting to get into more complicated dsigns. I'm a horrible seamstress, but I've somehow managed to make all of my costumes. I guess that's it...

Hey everyone biggrin !!! My name is Estelle, although I go by the name Daichi-Maiko =3 Im 14 years old (I turn 15, the 5th january), and I've been cosplaying for two years now! I simply love to cosplay, and sometimes I think I love that more than I love anime and manga, which is sorta, my life O.o!!!! Hello, my pen name / nick name is Lee, uhm, from New York, and before anyone calls me a girl, I am NOT. My mother is a master seamstriss with no sense of imagination or creativity.
...therefore I have to mentally map out costumes, break it down into fractions, and coach from there.
I started cosplaying at the end of my anime phase of life, though this year I plan on going to the cons anyway... as J-Rock.
Hmm... I wonder if anyone actually reads these intros.

Hi I'm Dagger-chan! I'm 21 and I'm a huge cosplay fan. ^^
I've been cosplaying for 4 years now and I love it. I have done Elena from the Turks, Sakura from Naruto, Namine from Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories, and I have worn my kimono from Japan to a few events.
I have a few projects in the works for AX this year and can't wait to get to know everyone. ^^

hey all!
i'm a cosplay nut and i've been "dressing up" for 4-5 year now, but i feel i'm just starting to maybe get good it at. sweatdrop i've been to 10 cons in the last 4 years all of which were in the southern US (FL, GA, & AL). i want to get more "good" cosplay pictures so i have been trying to arrange "cosplay events" with my friends and take pictures. heart
i am just getting into the Lolita style of dressing, but i still feel that i have a lot to learn about that too. sweatdrop and i want to try to learn how to sow this year. redface

Hi! I'm a amateur cosplayer, I have only cosplayed Mao from Angelic Layer, but I plan to do more and more cosplays.
I'm also into Elegant Gothic Lolita and I like to take some dressing tips from animes and make real life clothes.
If I could I'd cosplay everyday! heart

Hello. I am new to the guild. However, I am not a new cosplayer. I have a couple years under my belt.
I'd be more than happy to let anyone know of any tips or help them out in any way I can. I'm also looking for people to perhaps help me out when I might need it.
I am an avid Hellsing fan. -- and I cosplay Integra Hellsing in most of my cosplays. ^^

Hey, I'm Cat- my "cosplay alias" is "PirateKitty" (both on cosplay.com and cosplaylab). I've been cosplaying since 1998 (err geez- what is that- almost 9 years?) at A-kon 9. Ha, you think I would be better at it than I am. I'm definitely a "budget cosplayer"- being a poor college kid doesn't leave me hundreds of dollars to spend on a costume, but I've learned to work with what I have. I'm fortunate enough to have several other friends who also enjoy cosplay- so I do a lot of group projects. One group endevor of ours has been the foundation of a small group we call " Sweet Tea". We started the group for the purpose of running some Elegant Gothic Lolita events at conventions. We've done panels/contests at the last two A-kons, as well as some smaller events (Anime Day, All-Con 2007,and some other little convention I didn't go to- but my friends did, so the name escapes me...) and throw tea parties and photoshoots (with the help of Skypirate, an awesome cosplay photographer) periodically in North Texas. biggrin Lately, we've done several combo cosplay/EGL groups. Yay for "interpretive" cosplay. I have a personal cosplay page www.iwannabeapirate.com/pkc where I slowly update and share my choice photos along with prize commentary. biggrin Haha. I guess that's probably more than you wanted to know about me, so.. yeah- woo!
