Well, since Sho just went ahead and attacked Yamoto, Layla basically stepped back and observed the Vice Captin's movements and the proper way how to execute the kidou. It was amazing the way he deflected the attack, putting it to a direct halt with his reiatsu. It was as if the flames just vanished into it, like the shield absorbed the fire completely leaving him unscathed.
"Wow, now that's definately something I could use... But Sho raises a good question, how long will it last, being a level 34 bakudou, in comparison to #8 : Seki or barrier, the smaller, weaker version of that technique sir?" Layla asked, putting her weapon back into its sheathe, leaning forward with her hands vehind her back.
Her head was kind of cocked to the side, like a puppies' would when confused, but she was really just thinking hard about comparing kidous and such..

Yamoto sighed, he muttered to himself for a moment then laughed a little. "This defence is only good for about one attack. It can only cover yourself and anything that directly stands behind you. If you want to sucessfully use this kido you must build reiatsu about 2 inches infront off you. There is no chant for this one, so just say the name and you should be able to do it after a few tries. Now try it."

"Well sir, you still haven't addressed how long these things can last, but I guess I can try for myself and see." Layla said.
She bent her elbows and held her hands around 2 inches in front of how far her breasts reached out. She gathered her reiatsu and said, "Bakudo39, Arc Shield."
It seemed for a second, Layla's reiatsu spiked some, but nothing happened. She stomped her foor earnestly, saying " Arc Shield!" again.
Hayla humphed and took a step forwards as her arm muscles tensened up. Her muscles flexed, and she concentrsted hard on gathering her reiatsu and beginning to create a shield with it. She tried to envision it before she created it, imaginign the bakudo appearing as she watched her hands glow as she spoke the words, "Bakudo # 39 : Arc Shield." The result was a similar shield to the one Yamoto used before, as Layla lat out a gasp of relief that she had accomplished it.

Sho looks at Layla and says, "That's just awesome! Way to go Layla. Let me try ...." Sho closes his eyes and focuses his reiatsu to his right hand. Once the pressure was built to meet Sho's liking he opens his eyes and says, "Bakudo 39....Arc Shield" Sho's right hand started to glow and he made the shield but it was much smaller than Layla's or the one Yamato made. Sho turns to both and says, "I guess you have to use both hands for maximum effect! It also doesn't feel so draining on the reiatsu so I would guess that you could keep it up for a while."

Yamoto smiled as he walked over to Sho. "You guys have to listen I already said it was good for one attack." Yamoto raised his right hand and flicked the shield that Sho had made. The shield remained firm and Yamoto didn't seemed suprised. Yamoto flicked the shield again and Sho protection broke causing a small gust of wind. "See now you two would have to do a pretty big attack to get that result." Yamoto smiled at both of them. "Okay this is the last technique I will be showing you today." Yamoto turned around and pointed his right hand at nothing in particular. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33 Blue Fire Crash Down." The kido rocketed out of Yamoto's hand, the blue fire engulfed everything in range. "Now you try."

Sho watches and says, "Sweeeeet!! I'll give it a shot ... ok, you might want to take cover just in case something goes wrong ... Sho looks and points at a large bolder with moss growing all over it and says, "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33 ... Blue Fire Crash Down!" Sho watched as his hand began to glow and then nothing ... looking puzzled he turns to Yamato for a sign but gets nothing.
Sho turns and then closes his eyes and says with much more force this time, "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33 ... Blue Fire Crash Down!" Feeling the reiatsu flow to is right hand Sho points at the rock and flames leap from his hand and hit it cooking the moss to a crisp.
Sho turns with a smile on his face and bows to Yamato ....

Layla took Yamoto's lead and preads her legs apart, making sure she was firmly set for this attempt. She stuck her perk backside out some, and leaned forward, her eyes focusing intensely on the rock. She took a deep breath, and repeated the phrase that Yamoto and Sho just demonstrated.
"Yay lord, with a mask of flesh and bone, flutter your wings, he whom bears the name of the Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinful wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Hado number 33, blue flames crash down!" she said.
Layla outstretched both arms, and motioned towards the rock. Between her hands there was a tiny spark of clue, like if she were beginning hado #4, but nothing else.
She stood there, focusing hard on her hands, but nothing happened. She dropped her head, hanging it low as her hair covered her face. "Why?" she asked no one in particular.

Sho watched as nothing happened. He looked at Master Yamato and then at Layla. Not seeing or hearing anything encouraging coming from Master Yamato, Sho yells, "Come on Layla ... you can do it!! Focus girlfriend ....."

Layla thinks back, trying to figure out what she did wrong. All that kept going through her had was a Tatu song, 'all the things she said'. That was it! She was trying too hard... She said the incantation wrong, that was it. Her mind was racing and she messed the whole thing up. She just needed to calm down and try it slower. With a deep breath, Layla cleared her mind and tried again, a little slower this time. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. "Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado # 33 : Blue Fire Crash Down!" she finished. This time it didn't take nearly as much concentration, and her hands glowed blue for a second before flames suddenly ignited in her palm as she shot them forwards at the rock. The blue flames licked at the already charred stone, but the pushed harder, flowing her reiatsu neatly into the flames, warming her frontside as the flames diminished. "Man, at first I thought I was just doing something wrong, but I was just being too hasty really..." she looked at Sho, "thanks for the support." she then bowed to Yamoto.

Bullene appeared in a cloud of dust as he arrived at the Training Field. He awaited his opponent, who may not even show up. Though, if he didn't, Bullene would track him down.

Sho walks into the training field and see's Master Bullene. He says, "Are you sure you are ok Master? You seem very angry and I don't want to see you go over board on the new guy if you know what I mean." Sho grabbed a seat under a tree off to the side line to watch the fight.

((Quick question, is this w/ or w/o the zanpacto? And Second do I need to cast my kido or can I just say the name and a small explanation?))
Hyronai walked into the training grounds, a cold stoney and familiar expression weighed heavily on his face. Ancient Scalpel was close at hand but that left little comfort knowing his a** would probably last less than 5 minutes max.

Hyronai eyed Sho skepitcally. He seemed like a nice enough guy but his constant injections into Bull-San's business did nothing but add fuel to the fire no matter the intention. Hyronai then returned his gaze to captain Bull who looked thrilled to tenderise some new meat.

((Your Zanpakutou is nothing but a regular katana like sword with no power as of yet because you haven't discovered it's spirit form yet. But, I would use anything I could ... that's just me.))
