I'm not really feeling up to writing today...one of my teachers has died...and we haven't been told who the teacher is yet. I'm not feeling too good about finding out. It doesn't help I'm going to be away tomorrow visiting my Uni. I hope...that the news isn't too hard but what can you do with a school full of pupils?

Oh dear! That's terrible! It's always sad when somebody you know dies, but it's especially worse if it's somebody you had close contact with. And I'm sure explaining that to kids is going to be tough for the teaching staff. =/
I think a few days off here and there are forgiven. :]

Thanks for the support guys, it means so much.
Today I went to my University Open Day, therefore missing the huge school and sixth form assembly. It was who I thought it was and...it's a huge shock. I have no idea what the atmosphere will be like tomorrow as it was dreadul apparently today. He was really young...and...yeah. I could never fault the man.
It makes it hard to be positive about finally accepting my Uni offers...but no writing tonight for me...

It's okay to feel melancholy, you know. Don't stress about the writing, or the uni offer excitement. Besides, it's more exciting when you get your final grades and get your acceptance letter. <3
I hope tomorrow goes okay for you.
Which university are you deciding to put as your first choice, then?

Thanks PMS...today was a bit better though the local newspaper screwed up and put the wrong information and wrong picture of him...
Yeah, my first choice is De Montfort. The writing quality in the examples wasn't that good and it was funny because the lecturer on creative writing started talking about writing a 8000 word short story being a daunting process.
In my head I was saying...well I write over 100,000 word novels xD

I'm glad things were better today, and hopefully they'll continue to get better. Once it's easier to talk about things I'm sure the tension will go and it'll be easier to focus again. <3

And yes, it's getting easier...just its a dark death and...yeah the school is still in a state of shock. Now we have to think of a memorial piece...
But anyway, I will try and start writing tomorrow after my long list of work catch up. What are your vital necessities for Uni equipment wise at Uni? I'm struggling to figure out what I need! :O

What do you mean by equipment? As in, things like house items? (I'd suggest taking a kettle even if you're not allowed; the cleaners don't check in cupboards, and a kettle in your room comes in VERY handy) Or, do you mean just things in general?
I found a good website when I was packing/buying stuff, so I'll see if I can find it again for you. =3

Thanks PMS! I don't drink any hot drinks so a kettle would be useless to me xD But I did have fun buying loads of stationary items today!
Today instead of writing I spent five hours designing my autistic child's playcenter (which I have make!) and shopping for my Uni stuff. Finances are awkward to understand! Now, onto writing...
However, it's my main character's parent's death scene, where she finally passes away... It's going to be hard to write...

Good luck! Death scenes are always hard, especially if the character is one you, or another character, are attached to. >_> I loved shopping for my university stuff too! I liked getting things like new bedding, and a new lamp for my room, and stuff like that. I'm such a geek. XD [This] is really good for a checklist of everything you could ever possibly need. XD Of course it depends whether you're catered or self-catered, and a lot of stuff won't apply or you won't be allowed in your accomodation, but it might help you think of things you'd not realised you might need. =P It's a starting point, at least. :3 And [here is] another one, which may or may not be of any use to you. =D
