Raiden sighed, leaning against the wooden cabinets and drawers. "No, nothing?" He asked quietly, after the response he got from his last question. He glided through his kitchen and back across the living room till he was once again in his plush green chair. He waited for Lance to be done talking before he started, "This, obviously, is my house." A smile graced his lips, but his eyes held memories of when he first moved it. His little brother had never seen this place.

"I have enough stuff, its filled with various Human nic-naks I find interesting." He chuckled slightly at himself, remembering various things he had picked up. Like a broken pen, or an eyelash curler, and a retro green microwave. "So, your allowed to stay if you don't. Break. Anything." His eyes rested on the two other males.

Raiden quickly turned his head to eye Clyth, "Who said I haven't done work, honest or not?" He snapped, eyes narrowing. Yes, he didn't work. But when had he mentioned that? He sighed, fighting to keep growing annoyance and anger down. "Sorry." He started, stretching back, hands high over his head, "Been a Long day."

Raiden pales, well... He felt stupid. "Ah, sorry.. As I said..." He let his voice trail off, drumming his fingertips against his forehead. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, as if that would block out the feeling of regret- for speaking too quickly, and the over whelming... Well. He felt like an idiot.

((Sorry I haven't posted in some time. Been mildly busy.))

Lance smiled at Clyth before replying "It's hard to keep afloat, you're right. Sometimes I wonder how I do it. I guess I still have some inheritance money but I hardly have a job. I make some electronics but seeing as I'm not a company, I don't get much money out of it. So usually, I don't stay in the house so I don't have to warm meaning I don't have to pay for it." He wasn't in much of a mood to discuss anything much but he wasn't going to get himself into any more trouble than he already had. Never the less, he ate the Doritos chip by chip. When he looked out the window, he saw that the storm had weakened just as Alayah had said. But when he turned to Alayah, he realized that there was something that seemed to bother her by her expression. "What? You seem disturbed. Why?" He was determined to get every single answer to every single question. He just did that kind of thing. Lance was never known to let any subject go until he got it. He held a questioning expression on his face as he asked his question.

Alayah looked to both of them, seeing as they had both picked up on her slight disturbance. "Oh, um, sure... Yeah... cleaning it sounds good..."
Without thinking, Alayah slipped the necklace from her neck and held it out. Then she noticed something was definitely wrong with the picture; the necklace was leaning to the left. The pendant seemed to be pulling in one direction, as if they were on a slanted surface. But they weren't/

((Sorry my last post was crappy, I was in a hurry... I just needed to get that post in so it would move a little... It was getting slow... wait, what did you have to do, wash the necklace?))

Alayah bit her lip. Her eyebrows were still raised slightly and her eyes were jotting around all over the room. She had her shoulders hunched inward a bit, almost for subconscious protection against an unknown force. Her mouth was in a position that was somewhere between a grin and a gasp. Her fingers twitched slightly as though typing on a minute keyboard.
As the water unmasked the true surface of the gemstone, Alayah's fingers kept on jittering as she held the same position. With each clump of dirt that was washed from the necklace, Alayah felt like she had just lost an article of clothing. For some odd reason, she didn't want Raiden to discover what the necklace was doing...
When Alayah saw him approach, he was still holding the gem. Alayah saw it and couldn't help herself; her eyes widened a little more and her mouth was now agape. She even let herself gasp ever so slightly...
The gem now shone a blue-green color, and there was not a trace of dirt left on its surface. But that wasn't what astonished her: the teal gem seemed, although it may have just been her mind playing tricks on her, to lean even more than before. And what was funny; the necklace always leaned in the same direction, no matter which way its holder turned. Like a compass, it would always point in the same direction...
So it horribly ruled out the possibility in Alayah's mind that something was wrong with the chain...

Lance finished his doritos and threw the bag away in the closest trash can. He was looking around, trying to find something to break, when he realized that Clyth was no longer among the group. "Where'd Clyth go." He asked as he wondered the same thought over and over again in his mind. He looked out the window and saw some foot prints. He waited not for a response and then just said "I'll be right back, okay?" He now was confused as well as angered. Why would Clyth leave right in the middle of, well, everything? Lance put on his coat and went outside, sprinting once out of the building.

Clyth stood up, he heard feet quickly exiting the building not far from him. He looked around the corner with his face and eyes barely visible, he noticed at once it was Lance. Clyth cursed under his breath and ran down the alley away from Lance, he splashed several puddles on his way down. Clyth swung around the corner and scaled over a fence. He rested behind it for a moment, feeling his heart pound against his chest.
