((I deleted my post since everyone saw it. So lets get on with the story. The fights over and done with. BTW: The camp I'm working at is having a sleepover tonight so I won't be able to post until tomorrow afternoon or night, depending on when I can get out.))
Ashe sighed and walked over to the two. "Men, always swinging their weight around," she muttered to herself. She stood between Usrah and Contri. "Enough. You," she said pointing to Usrah, "Let this man go. And you," here she pointed to Contri, "will tell us why someone from Trisfall Manor is all the way out here pretending to be a lowly merchant." She spoke in a tone that suggested that she was in no mood for an argument. She folded her arms and waited for the two to comply.

(I'm not completely sure what has happened, but at least it looks like it was solved without me having to get narky. :3)
Lin looked back at Flint, and the new girl who was called Tyr. They both seemed to be of the same class, and getting along quite fine. After some time the group of horses which were tied together with rope, came to the clearing that Ashe, and the elder (sorry forgot his name. xP) were in. She noticed a new person, an elf like her, but he seemed to have some sort of darkness within him. She felt her stomach fluttering as if butterflies were inside her. An odd feeling, she wasn't quite sure what to do about the stranger. Slowly, she climbed off Mist and pet him.
He would keep the others horses in the same place, and stop them from going anywhere. because of this, Lin wouldn't have to tie the other horses up. "What is going on here Ashe, whatever happened here looks like it was done with speed. The looks on the dead peoples faces tell me they weren't expecting this. Maybe it was a surprise attack by rebel soldiers. I heard there were some wandering around these roads." Lin turned her attention to the elder, and the strange elf with the dark aura. "What is your name, elf male?" she asked in elven.

Usrah turned to face both Lin and Ashe. His expression was far different than his usual depressing visage. He looked as though he was worried and it only got worse when Ashe asked him to release the elf.
"Ashe, Lin... I cannot release this man from his divine bondage. I sense darkness within him, a strong darkness. I have a hunch that he may very well be the one who killed all of these people."
He moved his hand about as if displaying the scene.
"Is it not rather strange that so many lay dead, yet only one was bound and left to live?"
He paused for a moment, looking down at the ground and remembered moments of his past in which the wicked were set free. He returned his gaze to the two women.
"You may interrogate this man, but please, I beg of you, do not allow him to be released immediately. His aura taints the very air we breathe."

Luniya was becoming stressed out. She hopped off her horse to scope out the scene. Nothing smelled unusual. She walked over to the elf and looked him in the eyes. Luniya thought paladins were upright, yet Usrah was holding this elf after he may have either experienced a terrible trauma or caused it. No one knows what happened and didn't bother to ask.
Luniya finally spoke up. "Usrah did this elf do anything or are you just assuming he did? Just because he has darkness in him doesn't mean he caused. No one is perfect and I'm pretty sure everyone has a bit of darkness in them." She glanced over Ashe who looked aggravated with the two of them. The elf did smell of blood but he didn't seem like the type to fight if it was possible to run away. "I think this elf was running away Usrah. Even now he looks as if he wants to run." she said almost smugly.
She walked around the dead bodies examining them. She knelt down and touched one of them. He was still warm, so he must have died recently. Blood was all over them, it was hard to tell whose blood belonged to who. She glanced over at the elf. "Why do you have so many scents on you.? I think we should search him and the area." Luniya said staring at the elf deviously.

Usrah turned to see that Luniya had arrived. His expression was still one of desperation.
"Luniya, please, you must understand. This is not ordinary darkness. He is truly evil. Although it is an assumption, he is the most likely suspect."
He glanced at the elf, then back at Luniya. He watched her question the elf man. He nodded in agreement to her suggestion.
"Very well, I shall examine some of the bodies. I am no priest, but I have received some training in the medical field."
Usrah approached one of the bodies, knelt before it, and touched its flesh. It was warm, but had no pulse. He shook his head slowly.
"It is a shame that I could not heal them. Death as already taken these poor people. Perhaps Sorrow has the power of resurrection; she is a priestess, after all. If she could bring them back to life, they could tell us exactly who has done this."
He silently prayed for his plan to work.

The sick feeling in Tyr's stomach got worse, but she couldn't really say anything. Through Ferghall she could smell the blood, how he had all the scents of the dead on him and they all bore his scent, but she still couldn't say anything about it. He doesn't feel right, Ferghall... She thought, reaching up to bury her fingertips into the fox's soft fur.
Ferghal opened his eyes to better take in the scene around him, unlike Tyr he didn't have the same sad feeling at the dead, but he could sense something was off and that just added to Tyr's fear. Doesn't smell right... Doesn't feel right... The fox thought, lifting his head to better take in the surroundings.

The elf perked up a bit when he noticed other Elfs around. He felt a lot more comfortable around them than any other race. Mostly because of his hatred for all those that are not Elfs, and those he could talk to in eleven appose to common human talk.
“I have told your friend here my name but I will tell you as well in this language if you persist. I’m Lord Contri Moyasu of Trisfall Manor.” Contri spoke in Eleven.
“I am dressed this way, like a merchant, to disguise myself from the public. You see it is forbidden for anyone of Trisfall Mannor to enter or leave. And if I were spotted by a diplomat from Trisfall, I could fall into great trouble. Being the Lord of my people, I am not allowed to leave, even if it means reconnecting ties with other countries. I boarded this merchant cargo to deliver a message to the king of the human capital and offer a token of peace to help persuade him to re allow trade between our nations. The token was a jewel the size of a fist, both valuable and priceless.”
Shift stopped to clear his throat.
“I do not remember much of what happened on this road. One of the culprits hit me hard on my head and I think I have a concussion. What I do remember is begging for my life as long as I gave them the jewel. They simply tied me up and knocked me out. The rest were not as fortunate. I beg of you please let me go. We must warn the king, before any other mishaps occur that would further damage the ties between our nations.”
That sob story ought to get them to trust me.
---
Sorrow looked back at Rok but not enough to see his face as that would cause her neck to cramp up again. They had been walking quite a ways and she noticed a knocked over cart up ahead. She was still focused mainly on Rok because he seemed like the only one in the group she could talk to.
“I didn’t mean that question that way, it’s just that.. well..” Sorrow blushed a bit and then sighed. “It’s nothing.”
She focused her attention to the bodies that now became visible. She slowly walked up towards one of the dead men on the ground. She placed her hand over the dead man looking around to see if she could tell what was going on.
“I don’t know who did this, but whoever did kill them, did it with little effort.”
She looked around at the man noticing the dagger through his heart. She then walked around to the others that lie dead doing the same thing. She inspected the bodies, checking the organs damaged, and assessed if she could help them at all. She then stood up and walked over towards Usrah and Ashe.
“Majority of these men were killed in vital organs. There is no hope for them I can’t bring them back.” She paused for a second and then spoke again. “There is one I could bring back to life, but it won’t do much good. He won’t live for more than a few minutes, if that. You could try questioning him. But it would be cruel to bring him back only for him to die shortly after being brought back to life. It’s your call.”
Sorrow looked away for a second and then pulled her backpack down and started digging through a few things awaiting a response.

Luniya looked at the bodies and then at elf once more. He was looking more and more suspicious to her. She liked to everyone the benefit of the doubt but his story just wasn't valid. "You say you have a concussion right from a so-called blow to the head? Your body must be able to withstand a lot of damage for you to appear like you were'nt even in a struggle. I doubt that the bandits responsible for this would be so lenient with you when they killed the others. Especially when you are dressed as a merchant. Why would they let you live?" Luniya smirked and walked beside Usrah.
She folded her arms and started tapping her foot. He had all sorts of scents on him. His head wasn't even bleeding. "Usrah, you're a paladin what do you suppose we do with him. His story doesn't add up anymore. If he would have just kept quiet and defended himself instead of trying to give an explanation I would have believed him." Luniya sighed. On the other hand, why bother with him. It's not like we can do anything about it. "Where is the jewel. Or do I have to search you, or would you rather this kind sir to search you," she said pointing a thumb at Usrah.

((Changing Rok's posting style))
Rok smiled inwardly at Sorrow's response to his question. He hadn't meant to intimidate her; he had simply told her the truth. Sometimes the truth was harsh, he knew that if his father knew the truth about him...
They had arrived at what appeared to be a carriage wreak. It sickened him to see so many dead. Kneeling down when Sorrow explained that she wouldn't be able to bring them back, he bowed his head in respect.

--That group from before is just ahead. What do you want to do?-- Liuwei's voice cut into Serisaria's head. The blind woman turned her head in the direction the butterfly told her, and the edge of her mouth curled up into a malicious grin.
Walking over to the group examining the bodies and interrogating the elf, Serisaria only had the words of Liuwei to guide her in the right direction.
=There aren't any... strong beings with them, by any chance, are there?= she asked, feeling Liuwei strain herself to check.
--Every one of them seem like they would put up a good fight--
=That's perfect...=

Without much thought Tyr jumped from the top of the house and walked over to the paladin and the elf. "Um, if I may interject..." She said lightly in a nervous and shy voice. "It doesn't really matter what you do. If you know a wolf's a wolf then doesn't that make the wolf less of a threat?" She asked them with an eyebrow raised. Beside her Ferghall rolled his eyes. Sure it lets you stay on guard, but it doesn't make the wolf less of a threat. The fox protested. In her mind Tyr sighed as a response, but outwardly she remained calm.

Many questions ran through Usrah's head. The thought of allowing this man to escape, especially if he was the one responsible for the deaths of the other merchants, would drive him mad. He finally stood up, turning his attention to Sorrow first.
"If you can bring the one back to life to life, would you not heal him, as well? I have seens priests restore entire organs with their magic. Surely, a fallen angel such as yourself could execute such an act? I could assist you with what healing magic I know."
While waiting for her to respond he turned to Luniya.
"I overheard your interrogation and I must say that you are correct. This man's condition does not match with his story. The fact that he carries a dark aura does not help his case."
He paused for a moment, gathering his composure.
"The last time I allowed evil to escape, it resulted in the death of the only woman I have ever loved. As a paladin, it is my duty to destroy all that is evil, but I need solid proof that he commited these murders."
Usrah finally turned to Tyr.
"This matter is far beyond nature. This delves into the spiritual. Knowing that evil is evil does not make evil less of a threat. I know you are only trying to help, but this is a very delicate matter."

Lin listened to everything the others said. This stranger was indeed suspicious, and she hardly believed his story. A low sigh escaped her lips, and just before she was going to speak, she sensed another stranger, and looked towards what it was. She noticed it was a women with a butterfly flying by her head. Her hand went down to her sword hilt, and she losened it so that it would be easier to draw. Her sword arm held the hilt of the blade.
There is something strange about that women, and that elf male. I believe they are both against us, and proberly working with an enemy to try, and kill the human king.
She carefully moved over to Luniya, and Usrah without taking her eyes from the new arrival. "Perhaps we should think more about the strange women with the butterfly, something isn't right about her no matter how you put things. As for the elf, he may go, as long as he doesn't follow. Though I would suggest staying on guard at all times." She slowly went to Sorrow still hilding her sword hilt, and staring at the strange women. "I do not think we should bring the dead back to life, just to die again. That merchant may know something, but it would be too cruel to make him die twice. Stay on guard though, we have two strangers with odd aura's around us, that elf man for one, and that strange women just a few meters away from here."

Tyr turned, hand going automatically toward her dagger, and shifted her attention in the direction that Lin was looking, and she suddenly got a cold chill down her back. Ever have those days where you just know everythings going all wrong? She asked Ferghall inside her mind. Like last winter when I nose dived on a rock trying to catch a mouse? Ferghall asked back, leapng down from her shoulder to stand guard at her feet. Um, sure... She agreed with him, cracking a half smile and wishing that she wouldn't seem insane if she started laughing.

Flint, who had been totally lost in the exchange, hopped off the horse (With quite a bit more bravery than it would take a normal person, he was pretty high up) and slid out the folded halves of his knife, pushing it up his sleeve.
"This adventure just started and a lot of weird stuff is going on...I don't think this will all end well" he said quietly, more to himself than anything.
