Cat felt that rush when Dansmith got taken to the ground by her full-bodied kick. stayed standing, her body was ready for more, a light trace of sweat could be seen and her breathing quickly resumed normally as did her heart. "Hmm, we probably shouldn't." She commented quietly enough just for him, "But tell you what, we'll grab something to drink later instead." Cat flashed him a quick joking wink, She looked around at the other Marines, a large crowd was around.
Well that was fun. She thought, probably shouldn't have kicked him so hard though.
She watched as another man ran into the ring, "Where were you ten minutes ago?" She asked him, stretching her leg out a bit.

"Playing card's actually, with the man you just a** kicked." Warren answered. He then cracked his knuckles and too an defensive stance, he would have to buy his time and wait for the perfect opening, if he made even one error, he would like like Dansmith. "Ladies first" Warren said.

Seth got on the base's COM by holding down a button on the holographical display, accessing only that room. "Save it for the enemy Marines, you're done for today. You can bash each other's brains in tomorrow."
Too many people were there, and Henry and Dansmith were close, no need for animosity among the ranks. Revenge fights would have to wait.
Besides that, more than blowing off steam Able needed rest, real rest.

Ashton nodded in thanks to the ODST, Winter, as he hauled him up. Glancing at Catherine, he smiled slightly. If ever they made it the hell out of here alive, a drink would most definately be in order. Well, Ashton, you don't seem too flustered that you just got beaten with such a magnitude, that it gave the soldiers here a boost in morale. Anything... special? What?! I don't know where you get half of your ideas, Angel, but you're definately on the wrong track there! My my, so defensive. I'm not defensive! Look, just tell me where the hell I'm needed, alright? Dansmith cast one lasst glance at the Gunnery Sergeant and the gatheered meat sacks before ducking out of the Gym, obedient trolly in tow.

"Guess will save it for another time, order's are order's." Warren said and he walked away. He walked past Ashton and gave him a small hit over the head. "You lost my 50$, and you get yourself injured again. Go back to the med bay and get some sleep, thats an order." Warren said.
He decided he would continue his personal tour of the base, he wanted a lay of the land if they were attacked. Better to know where he was going, instead of turning corner's at random. He was walking down what seemed like a giant road, inside the base. There was even a warthog parked in there. He shrugged his shoulders and continued on his walk. He followed the road to the very end where he found one marine knocking on a door and another on the other side of the door. They were yelling at each other, something about a password. He shrugged his shoulder and then went back the way he came.

His hands reached to the ground plucking up the black clad helmet from the floor. As he shifted it upon his head he turned to a different world. Holographic displays formed his HUD, the blinking of lights as graphs appeared and disapeared with ease evaporating into the helmet.
"Close them." Winter whispered into to Shelly, who instantly brought all of the icons and projections of him helmet to a halt. Turning he watched the medic walk away in defeat, but he did not fallow. Instead he stood there, watching the flow of marines slowly walk out with there jokes and laughs, small talk and chatter filling his headset as Shelly mumbled along that the fight had brought injuries to the medic and was a foolish venture. That was her, not him. It gave his mind a moments rest.

"Guess we will." Catherine stayed in the gym, to do her daily exercises. Fightings just a warm-up for her. Some of the other Marines eyeballed her and she met their gaze with a fierce look of her own, her features growing sharp and piercing. they rarely looked twice.

Not wanting to get in trouble for disobeying a direct order (he hated it when Warren pulled rank on him), Dansmith obliged to rest up. But the Master Sergeant had never said where to rest up, so Dansmith parked the trolly in a small alcove, sat himself on the ground and leaned against the yellow-and-rust machine, and nodded off.

The hillside erupted in flames as the units of Outpost 218 were under heavy fire from 2 Hunters and 3 whole Company's of Covenant. The energy generator took a direct his, taking 3 men with it. The platoon left to guard the outpost, was a detachment from Charlie Company of the 105th. They were told to hold the line while 2nd and 3rd attacked an AA gun.
Outpost 218 was over run in minutes. But there was just enough time for a Private, Private Mark Hilliard, to hit the red alert button before a Brute, gutted him from head to toe with a Spiker. ---At Foxhole one---
On the desk to his left, Warrent Officer Karr looked at the Outpost camera for Outpost 218. On the screen was utter chaos as the Covenant began trampling over the area in force. Anthony counted 2 whole company's of Covenant. Possibly even more.
"Sir, we have a situation..." he said pointing at the screen.
He acted quickly, picking up the Mic and speaking into it. "Attention, Attention. All units man your battelstations. This is not a Drill. Repeat, this is not a drill."
Anthony hit the air raid siren next to the blinking light. The outside of the old power storage room began to howl as the sirens went off, alerting everyone.
"Orders Lieutenant?"

"Oh?" Winter voiced with majestic interest, hunters, the bad a** cannon bringers of the aliens. By all means he would take all of them, geared up, assault already in hand and safety switched instantly away, he was hot.
"Come on boy, come on las, lets go kick some a**." Winter voiced to the two within the gym, rolling his fingers in the air and signaling them to gather. "Haul a**, you heard the man!" He yelled with order, his words like ice, instantly bringing you to follow.
"A bit happy are we Winter?" Shelly asked, sighing as she voiced her disapproval, there was no need to answer. She knew what he was up to.
Flipping through his com channels he rung up the brass. A all voice channel, he had an idea. "This is ODST Master Gunnery Sergeant Winter Smith, permission to go kick some a** and head up to the front lines with the first readied patrol and any I gather?" Probably only the Lt. would get the transmission, but he wanted to the permission, he wanted the order to jump in. Maybe they would know him, maybe they would remember, maybe they knew the insanity of him or the kind of man he was.

"s**t," Seth cursed seeing the feed, "Contact the Command Center, tell them to begin purging the database, report the situation."
Seth, thought a moment, "Make sure everyone's ready to go Karr, we can't let the Covenant penetrate the Nest itself."
Seth got a transmission, it was from a Gunny Sergeant. . . Winter? "Make it happen Winter, keep your channel open for further instructions from Warrant Officer Karr." Seth gave Karr a meaningful look.
Seth turned towards Lee, "Captain?" He asked, his body was loose but ready to take off toward the armory at any second.
