"Sure!" replied Lexis, prefering to leave the killing to someone else. But the flopping around would get annoying quite soon if they're carrying it there. "I have an idea." He held the fish down on the ice, hoping that the cold would sap away at its energy. Sure enough, the temperature seemed to slow the fish down. "There we go! Now it's not flopping around so much. And it'll likely die from not being in the water too."

"Okie!" she said, breathing a sigh of utter releif. If they caught another one as big as this one they could probably call it a day and wait for Chaos to come back and take the fish. Or if the fish had settled down by then they could probably leave them at Chaos's house and play around a little more before the day ended.

Lexis placed a bit more of the bait on the hook and cast it into the water. The fish continued to slow down as it lay on the ice, approaching the point where it could hardly flop anymore. As the hook descended into the water, he said, "So, one more good-sized fish and we're done?" It wasn't that he minded fishing, it was just that he didn't want to push their luck with the make-shift fishing pole.

Talitha stretched and arched her back, curling her tail around her paws and watching the fish as it slowly stopped flopping around. Looking up at his voicing of her thoughts, she smiled and replied, "Okie! What should we do after that?"
(Gah, can't think of writing and response well and whatnot... *Flops about*)

Lexis thought for a moment. What could they do that they haven't done yet? They looked at the stars, played in the snow, went sledding...then, like an idea out of the blue, he had it. "Maybe we could make a snowman?"

Talitha perked up again, "I've never made a snowman before, sure!" She began to try to will the next fish to get caught so they could start playing in the snow again.
(We need some action to happen again soon...)

(Yeah. ^^)
Lexis wondered about how they were going to get the head on the rest of the snowman, but his thoughts were interrupted with a little nibbling from a fish. He waited a little bit, then started to bring the line in.

Hopping up, she would have asked if there was another fish, but she wanted it to be caught soon, so she kept quiet in the hopes that it would go after the line more with silence.

Lexis felt the fish begin the fight some, so he tugged up harder on the line. It was enough force to handle the fish, yet not so much that it would snap. After a few moments of battle, Lexis finally won and dragged up a decent sized fish, flopping madly in the air, "This one's a fighter!" He commented with a smile, numbing the fish on the ice.

Talitha giggled, "Good! That means it's got some meat on it!" She waited until the new fish stopped struggling on the ice, then picked up the already coldly limp fish and started to drag it back to Chaos's house, pausing at the edge of the pond to wait for Lexis to catch up.

Lexis waited for the fish to slow down, and then ran to catch up with Talitha. "Fishing in the winter was pretty fun," He commented. He still prefered to fish when it was warmer, but winter was a new experience he was happy to take part in.

Depositing her fish back in Chaos's house where they had taken the other fish from earlier, Talitha bounded out the door and dove into the snow. "Now that we've replaced the fish we ate, can we start on our snowman?" she asked, poking her head out of the snow with clumps of the sticky white stuff still clinging to her ears.

"Sure thing!" replied Lexis. Already he was rolling around a snowball, gathering up more snow for it to be the bottom. His heads were still a bit cold, but it wasn't too bad. "This is gonna be fun," he commented.

"Yep!" Talitha said, shaking the snow from her ears and rolling around a snowball of her own, "How tall should we make him?" She giggled and slipped on her scarf again, landing on and smooshing the snowball she had been in the process of rolling. "Ooops!" she said, grinning somewhat sheepishly before turning to begin rolling another.

"Probably only a couple feet tall," replied Lexis, finishing up the bottom. He didn't want it too big, otherwise they'd never get the head on. He wondered if it was going to be hard to get the stones necessary to make the face. Not to mention the carrot.
