Artica took a moment to stare at the man, wondering if he was serious. Deciding to play along, the Sorceess replied, "yes, they're rather fabulous most of the time. Except sometimes they get into arguments in my head, and its rather distracting when you're trying to hold a conversation with someone in the outside world."

Lexenos began playing with his hair ring, trying to be patient and hold in his excitement to get to the cave and fight. He began to think about what kind of armor and weapons he needed to get. The ones he had now were pretty beat up.

"That could be rather confusing." He said as he looked around. "I can tell that some of you are getting impatient." As he looked at Lex.
"Before you all leave, go buy the stuff that you will need, and I suggest that you rest at the Inn before you go." He said as he walked back to his throne, and sat down. "I will meet you at the Cave when you are ready to enter."
((Check the first page for the weapons, and armor, and their prices. You can not buy orbs though. And try not to buy more than you can pay for or you my pay a price...))

Lexenos blushed brightly and dropped the ring as the King looked at him, which made his already feminine face look even more girly. He quietly mumbled something about 'being out of it.'

Ahren stared at him, her hazel eyes intent. Aside from her gaze, her face was calm, serene, and still. From her expression, they were talking about nothing more pressing than the weather. She nodded slightly, withdrawing her hand and the gold in it. "I accept your task. I must warn you, though, I am a simple girl. I have no magic or powers. I have these hands, and little more. I will try my best to complete this charge." Her tone was cordial, polite but in no way reverent. Ahren lowered her head in a curt bow, her eyes still on the king. Staff in hand, she began to exit the throne room.

Varnis had been standing there the entire time watching them talk. "Well, I should really go and get the stuff that I need, I'll see you all at the Inn when we are done." He said as he walked out the door. Good bye father. He thought as he walked out towards the center of the town, wondering what to buy. Quest!

Aaron watched the others file out, and looked horrified. "But-But I can't-I--" he sputtered. Regaining his composure, Aaron looked forlornly around for a hint of the shiny thing.
"Well, see ya dude," Aaron said in defeat. He had already agreed after all, and his family honor would not allow for him to go back on his word. Giving the unsuspecting king a high five, Aaron tromped out with the others.

The king was surprised by the sudden high five that Aaron had given him. He looked around some then decided to sit down in his throne, then dozed off some.

Artica stepped into the potion's store, and looked around for the clerk. Locating him at the front of the store, she spoke:
"I'll need a Potion, Ether, Eye Drops, Antidote, Phoenix Down, wich totals to 800g," Artica instructed the clerk.
"That's 800g," the un-named clerk said. "Out of 1,575? Here you go!" he handed over Artica's supplies.

"Not going to get any armor?" Aaron asked Artica, handing his chosen items over to the man to ring up.
"A Mages cloak, and Phoenix Down? 1,300g," the clerk recited. Aaron paid, and they both left the shop.
