The attack was without mercy. Hundreds, if not thousands of corpses lay on the streets of Kolima, blank expressions of sheer horror filled each of their faces.
A few had tried to put up some sort of resistance. Ironically, they were the ones to die first. But at least they had died with honour.
Some others had pleaded for their lives. They lived longer. A few hours, at any rate.
Kolima was no more, and all its previous inhabitants, every living thing, was dead, individual identities masked with blood.
Bilis smiled.

Lord felt slightly odd, as he walked up the long and freezing path. How much longer would all of this take? And what was the strange sensation taking over him? Knowledge, or a warning of a greater threat, or others in said threat? Or frostbite kicking in? He had no clue, but either way, it had to be the inverse of good...

Shade jumped inside Nali's hat "it is ffffreezing out there!" he said
"yah it is" Dew said "when will we get to Imil?"
"i dunno, ask Lord or any of the djinn that have been on this quest longer" Nali said "or you could try your luck asking Vaek, but that won't do any good"

Lord sighed at Nali, for the twelfth time that day, and making a grand total of 68 sighs in total.
"Another complaint?" Lord muttered as he viewed Nali's Djinn making it'self compfy inside her hat. He wondered if his might be doing the same, but then realised that .... Dear god! His hat that he specifically bought for the trip to Imil was missing! Bugger! Still, he would have to be brave, and soldier on hatless... Or find some kind of comic relief. Hmm... Ah picked up a clump of snow. What a nice piece. Perfect material to throw... Lord took aim. Back of head... At the hat line... Stuff it. He picked up a small rock on the ground, covered it in snow, and dumped it on Nali. He laughed, and began running toward the lighthouse which was steadily becoming more clear in his sights...

Nali picked up a chunk of ice. "oh, wait" she said "GLACIER! who's laughing now?" she said as she ran ahead of him
"and i thought this was bad back in the cave" Shade said "this is just CRAZY!"

Well then. Lord certainly was about to make a fool of Nali. She had cast glacier. Yeah, Lord didn't see her getting this mad. But he was going to reach that lighthouse first. His plan?
Step one: Roll below the ice, and hide. Done.
Step Two: Allow foe to pass ahead. Also done.
Step Three: Summon enough vines to lift her twelve feet into the air, with no discernible way down. ....
"GROWTH!" Lord bellowed, leaping out from his spot by the ice. A mass of vines hurtled upwards, about... Ooh, 12 feet. She was now suspended above him, and what a nice sight that was too... Damnit, he had to try and control these evil outbursts. But heck, he had fun. Lord laughed once more, and ran up the lighthouse...

"DOUSE!" she yelled in Lord's direction. "FROST!" she yelled to the vines. the vines died and she was behind Lord "getting cold?" she asked him
(she ain't mad, she just saw no point in using ice seeing how she could just dump a whole bunch on you)

"Not really!" Lord called behind him. He had finally arrived at the foot of the lighthouse, and had found himself staring into a pool of water. Which, by some twisted miracle, had not frozen over.
"Hmm... So this is the 'Healing Water' then? Looks... boring. Not exactly special. Ect." Lord sigh. THIS was the substance which could heal all injuries and all that? Blimey. Sure looked dull. Still, he had found it first, so he had won the bet he had made with... himself. He scooped a bit into his hands, and for sheer kicks, drunk some. An odd sensation drew over Lord, somewhat like when he had gained his new psynergy. Had he? He'd just have to wait and see...

Nali scooped a little water with her hands. she looked at it curiously and then drank some. she felt as though she were getting new psyenergy as well
