I'm torn on my favorite Castle episode...either the one with the bet on who can solve their case first or the episode with the con man murder.

That promo is filled with reasons why I haven't gotten into Castle.
Am I broken? I'm broken right?

Lol, I have a love for the supernatural. And it looks silly.
Maybe it's just not what you enjoy. Nothing about being broken. wink

There's nothing supernatural in Castle. Fillion calls it a cross between Moonlighting and Murder She Wrote, shows that he admits he's never watched. xd It's way more like a cross between Bones and Californication. One thing I really love about the show besides Fillion and Katic (who I am crushing on severely, BTW) is that it heavily parodies mystery fiction both in TV and in print. I'm such a geek that I actually recognized the real mystery writers in his poker group (and I would imagine that the unnamed female player at the table is meant to be Kathy Reichs, the author whose life and work is the basis of that other mystery show with a Whedon Player starring in it). I particularly like the way that makes fun of Law and Order, a show that I have watched more of than any human being should ever do willingly.

Halloween redface Wow, yeah now i feel foolish.Quote: It's way more like a cross between Bones and Californication. A show where it has so many different types that no one really smiles? NO way...

In HL2Ep2, there's an achievement for grabbing a lawn gnome at the beginning of the game, and carting him with you all the way to the end. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Just make sure you carry him and then drop him when you get into a firefight.
Right.
Well, at one point, you get a car to drive to checkpoints in; the catch of course is that there's no way to really anchor the gnome down inside the car. The car is also missing it's windows, doors, and most of the shell itself. So that's a challenge (and certainly a PITA at times), but it's not so bad.
But wait, there's more!
At one point in the drive, you encounter a chopper that would love nothing more than to annihilate you. Not the car, not Alyx (your co-star of sorts in the game), and certainly not the gnome... just you. What this means is you can't distract the chopper, only hope you don't get hit when it starts firing. The first part is easy enough, though definitely slow-going, since you have to play a game of hide and seek while trying to launch the gnome across the map so that you don't have to worry about losing him mid-acceleration. Then in Round Two, they add jumps and enemy NPCs; big time ugh. Then in the last part they remove your cover. Let me repeat that: They remove most of the one thing that stops the chopper from killing you in an open area..
To borrow a meme, FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
After that though, it's (relatively) easy, since you can drive slow, and the one ambush that's left isn't car-necessary. So after that, you take the gnome and tuck it away inside the rocket at the end, not forgetting to shut the door afterwards. If you don't, the achievement doesn't register.
And now that I've told you all of this, I am here to do my "I got the second most difficult achievement in the game! Yay!" dance.

Man, if only this was on a 360 and not a PC, then I would have gotten those Gamerpoints things, and not just done it for the hell of it! xd
