The cat was still on Tien's shoulders. It had been very still, it's red eyes closed as he had talked. It now shifted and licked his ear, Come by my club later Tien, I'd like to see you in person, that is if you don't mind. The cat then jumped down, bumped his legs then took off and disappeared.

Sighing, Cloud left the Bastet base, his weapons at the ready, as were his clothes. Moving a bit closer to the ground, Cloud took off into a run, hurring into the city and looking for Rikku.

Entering the city, Cloud began zipping through alleyways, feeling as if he was being watched, or at least followed. With his arm claws at the ready, , Cloud jumped into the ai, landing on the roof of a building overlooking one of the many alleyways.

There was a sound behind him and a second later something rubbed against his legs. He'd look down to see a dark colored cat weaving between his legs. It was a female, she had a gold streak on her head starting from her nose and ending at the back of her head, her eyes were a startling green, he'd notice when she looked up at him.

It was a female, she had a gold streak on her head starting from her nose and ending at the back of her head, her eyes were a startling green, he'd notice when she looked up at him. cloud jumped a few feet away as he felt the cat on his leg. Noticing the stripe, Cloud smiled lightly under his jacket. "Nice cat."

She tilted her head at him, blinked then trotted over to join him in his new location, continuing to rub him. Abruptly she jumped up, climbing up his clothes until she was settled on his shoulders, sniffing his ears and his jaw and his temples as she purred. ((Love whem my cat does that)). Then, Cloud....You might not remember me. We didn't deal with each other much back then. I never got to apologize to you about Valentina. Unlike you, she came to visit me a few times.

The voice chuckled in his mind, You don't even want to know who I am? Well that's just fine. I like Valentina, she had spirit as you know, she was a woman that started things....she investigated, rooted out things that people wanted hidden. I'm not sure what she had discovered but she died for it. I knew there was something wrong, I'm not sure what it was that alerted me but I went to the battle field that night to bring take her out of the battle, get her away from there. I was too late to save her, Cloud, I'm sorry, I had to watch her die. The daughter I can never have. I havn't contacted you until now because of guilt, my cats have been keeping an eye on Rikku and the others and I saw phenomon of time rewound and knew I had to tell you. She loved you very much, everytime she came to talk with me she always had somethign to say about you, it was almost the only thing we talked about. There was amusment in that statement then teh voice was quiet and the cat started grooming her paws and face.
((Ich...totally pulled that out of my.....ear... xp sweatdrop ))

Tien slipped out of the Bastet base and making himself get lost in the main streets of the city, his eyes reflecting the light coming from the stores each time he glanced inside. He was making his way to the entertainment district, the only place he knew he would most likely meet Merlin, but if not, a quick meal would ease the coming boredom.

Cara was in the training room, her eyes closed and body tensed as if she was actually in a battle. She began to breathe deeply, her hands raised slightly as she held her daggers tightly. Then her eyes snapped open, the daggers flying everywhere and the sound of metal hitting metal bringing a smile to her face. Six other Bastets came out of the shadows, holding the daggers lightly as they circled her, "Very good," she said, her eyes slowing turning red, "Now, let's really fight."
