"I hope you're right . . . ." Blade muttered to herself before turning to Conner. "Well, aren't you lucky." She informed him with a wry smile. 'I'll probably have to just get my G.E.D.' Blade thought to herself. She had missed two years of school after she ran away so it would be hard for her to catch up.

"Yeah, well. I thought so to." huffed Victoria, and by now she had half-dragged Sara back to the car and let her go so they could each take their respective seats. Sliding into the drivers seat, she pulled the door with a frustrated slam. Fishing the keys out from her pocket, she decided against shoving it into he ignition and pealing off, so instead she let the key, along with her fist, fall smack into the middle of her lap. She could only assume Sara was interested in the back story of what had just happened and thought it might be better to spill now as opposed to later.
"Okay...remember that black thing that absorbed itself into Morgan the other day? Well, I only finally talked him into letting McCoy check it out, and his just now called back, and guess what? It's a living, symbiotic being, that he recommends Morgan get rid of until he could complete his analysis, but that...that," Getting frustrated all over again, Victoria frowned and stammered to find the correct word. "That moron wouldn't listen, so I said something and he shoved me down like I didn't even exist!"

Sara let Victoria vent out her frustrations as they got into the car. She nodded. "Yea. What about it?" She asked and raised an eye when Victoria told her it was an actual living thing that attached itself to him. "Well." She said after she had fallen silent. "Maybe it's not him." She offered. "Maybe it's that...symbiot?" She said and went on. "Maybe it's making him want to keep it...I know if I were trapped in a jar for who knew how long and found a living host I'd not want to be seperated from it..." She said shrugging. She was starting to get numb to this since she was taking the news rather well.

Ellen just sort of waved at the newcomer, lowering her head and digging into her cereal. She would've said something telepathically, but she suddenly felt self-concious of her imporperly functioning powers again. So, making as little noise as possible, she continued eating her breakfast, humming the Sugar Crisp jingle inbetween bites.

Conner's smirk increased at Blade's comment. "Yeah I am." He answered an finished his cup of tea. He turned to the sink and washed his cup. "I'll see you later, I need to get some kip." He said as a farewell and went straight to his room but instead of getting into bed he flopped down in the chair by the desk. It was cushioned but he knew it would hurt in a couple of hours, just what he needed. He settled back and got as comfortable as he could and shut his eyes.

"Team! Stop what you are doing and suit up. Now!"
The loud, and suspiciously angry voice belonged to no one other then Mystique, of course, as she stormed into through the door of the Brotherhood house for the purpose of barking orders. Having shifted into her expected natural, blue-skinned form and complimentary white 'mission' costume, all she needed was her moody adolescent team to get their acts together so she could move on with what she had planned.
Heels clicking on the overly decadent redwood floors, she paced through the foyer and stood, arms folded in the middle of the house to wait for them. They all had five minutes to get their asses down here and she had no problems with leaving any stragglers behind. Recruiting a prospective member was something she could really do on her own, without the distraction of her precious Brotherhood, but, Morgan was a bit different. She had a feeling that this time needed to be a family affair.
"We've got another teammate to recruit!" Mystique finished, and checked her watch. 283 seconds was what they had left...

"But the note said... Oh, never mind. Better get suited u- Wait, I don't have a suit..." David said to no one in particular. Despite the fact that he lacked an actual "outfit" for missions and whatnot, he did have his beat up old coat. It was as close to a uniform as he could get at the moment, and so he ran upstairs and pulled it on, as well as some clothing that didn't look like it had been slept in. Or at least, slept in a bit less.
"Okay, I'm ready!!" he said, dashing back down the stairs and skidding to a halt in front of Madame Blue. "Okay, so where're we headed?" he asked, straightening his coat a bit.
----------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile...
Morgan was feeling a bit less exuberant at the moment, owing to a number of factors, not the least of which being that he'd just struck Victoria. He was feeling confused and angry, and he needed somewhere to clear his head, and try to sort out his thoughts.
He chose the city park. It was normally pretty quiet, and offered him a place where he could be alone with himself, without having to worry about his self-reflection being interrupted. Or at least, that's what he hoped as he sat down on a park bench, and pressed his hands to his temples, as if trying to squeeze his chaotic mind into one cohesive mass.

Lizz grunted and hurried into her cloths once she had gone upstairs. A minute later she was front and center tucking her shirt in and straightening out her hair. "All set...off to snag Morgen are we?" Seh asked noting that David had beaten her down. With a mental shrug she adjusted her weight to her other foot and waited for the crew to show up.

Laura was just starting to get up to go find something to do, when who should return but Mystique.
'Nice timing,' Laura thought to herself. She left the kitchen and went into the foyer. There wasn't anything for her to change into, she was still in her gear. Leaning against the wall, she sighed and waited for the rest of her 'team' to show up. It would be nice to fight Morgan again. Their last fight had been interrupted by Logan.

Marcus had been napping in the parlor when she had come storming in. Being the person he was he didn't say a word at first. He also didn't move from his spot on the couch. "I'm here." He said waving a hand from the couch. After David, Liz and X-23 arrived he decided that he really needed to haul his carcas off the couch and pull himself into some semblence of order. So with a grunt he was on his feat and a moment later his rumpled appearence melded into a more neat and ordered look.

((I'm alive too; as alive as a person with a couple-week strong cold can get. xp ))
Owen raised his head suddenly, smelling fried chicken. He moved behind some bushes and peered through them at a couple who sat beneath a tree, having a nice brunch and being what Owen thought was sickeningly amorous. Still, it was hard for him to ignore the steaming cardboard bucket sitting on the blanket in front of them. On the ground.......He smiled an impish smile and withdrew from the bushes, heading into the neatly trimmed grasses until he found what he was looking for. He brought his face low until his chin nearly touched the dirt, making strange hissing noises and holding out his hand. Within a minute, the hill of dirt came alive with ants, all marching stoically onto his hand and up to his elbow. Their little marching feet made Owen shiver as they tickled his arm, but he forced himself to keep his arm steady. When no more could fit, he carefully got up and walked back to the bushes, where he hissed a few hurried words and lowered his arm to the ground. The ants swarmed off and made straight for the bucket. The couple were well into a long kiss, and it was at least 30 seconds before they noticed the miniature assault on their bucket of chicken. The girl's shriek sounded out like a peanut whistle, and the boy reached out quickly and hurled the bucket into some bushes. Owen quickly moved toward the brush and grabbed the spilled bucket, scooping up the ant-covered chicken and putting it back into the bucket before turning and running until he could no longer see the clearing. He sank down to the ground with a sigh, then looked happily at the bucket. He leaned over and addressed the contents with a short, raspy hiss. Remember our agreement. The tiniest answering hiss reached his ears. We remember. Return Us to the Hill. Owen walked back to the hill and placed the bucket beside it. As one, the ants crawled out, leaving the chicken untouched as they swarmed over the hill and waited expectantly. Owen picked out several of the biggest pieces and placed them on the hill, taking care not to damage it or crush the ants, then walked away with the rest. He found a bench on the park's outskirts, sat down and began to eat; just a normal boy eating chicken. Owen hid his smug smile behind a drumstick.

Blade turned to Ellen and smiled. "So . . . how long have you been in Bayville?" The young woman asked, curious. In reality, Blade might be considered thoughtless when only she was blunt. It was just in her nature not to beat around the bush. However, this was one of the few times that she wasn't blunt, just curious.
