Prophet chuckled slightly, and said, "Cale, you shouldn't mess with her temper, I learned that the hard way." Prophet yawned lying on the cold floor, trying to soak up heat from the nearby fireplace. "Kiiro, I know how you feel, how to stand out. Heck, I'm a dragon, among a family of demon killers, I stick out like a sore thumb." Prophet said, chuckling a little bit. "It's hard being a reptile." Prophet said, stretching his limbs out.

*Karen shrugged, "when you get snappy that just means it's even more true." She nodded and stood up, "I should go check on miss moon." She turned and skipped to the door. Meanwhile Veria's had poped around the corner as she sipped some poision. Blinking rappidly. Before sinking her head ever so creepily back so she wasn't seen again.*

Evelyn looked away grumpily. "You being here is just annoying me." Cale walked inside the room and chuckled. "Com'on now. I thought you liked me 'cause I was nice to you." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "That was a one time thing." Cale snickered. "Two times." Evelyn scowled. "Whatever." Kiiro blinked a few times. "Onee-chan, this man is only half demon?" Evelyn looked out of the window. "Yeah. Half Angel Half Demon. Nephilim." Kiiro turned her head to Cale. "Oh... Why do you not like him?" Evelyn licked her teeth. "Reasons." Cale chuckled. "They aren't too complicated, kitty." Evelyn looked back to him with cat eyes. "I told you to leave already. Now get lost, halfblood!" Cale shrugged and sighed. "Fine. I'll leave. I hope the storm picks up though." And ironically there just then struck a bolt of lightning which made Evelyn jump, and Cale leave the room laughing. "He's an a**."

*Veria's head slowly rose back around the corner as she pointed her two fingers at her eyes and then pointed them to evelyn as in saying, 'im watching you.' She then slowly went back before dissapearing.*
In the morning of course Shortstraw awoke. He looked around as if in a strange place and put his head back down. "I wonder if that storm is over." he replied to himself. He gave a shy and finally got some menemtum to get up. He sat with his legs off the bed and rubbed his head, "i feel like i got hit with a brick..." he turned to look to keria.

Kiera was still there, sleeping soundly. Given how tired she was, it was normal for her to be asleep for a lot longer. And this time Evelyn wasn't sitting on the end of the bed either. This was because her and Kiiro were talking all night. It was probably better now that Evelyn had someone to keep her company during the nights that wasn't Cale. Because she hated Cale and how cocky he was all the time. So Evelyn's sister was the perfect person to talk to because Kiiro knew nothing of the world while Evelyn knew lots. Naturally Kiiro had a lot of questions for Evelyn. And they seemed to get along better than Evelyn would have expected. After all, this was the child that had caused her parents to hate her and ultimately led to their deaths.

*Shortstraw smiled and lightly kissed kerias sheek before getting up, getting dressed and heading out of the room silently to litarly run to the bathroom lik ehis a** was on fire or something. Surly though when he was done and came out he headed down stairs to find Lilly cooking some stuff up. At this point Shortstraw stepped up to lilly, "do you know how to make a wedding happen?" Lilly looked to shortstraw, " i was there to help set up the last one... are you asking me to carry on what Hikari started?" Shortstraw nodded, "yea. Just not too quick. We still have some little bugs to work out." He smiled as she handed him a plate, "better eat this before donte gets up." He chukkled with a nod and headed into the living room chewing on a peice of bacon, susspecting to find evelyn and Kirro. He was glad evelyn was no longer alone at night. He alsways felt so tarrable about it. But then again, he also liked that she used to watch over him since paradioa was there. but he was lenunt... for now.

Evelyn was in her cat form and lying with her eyes closed on the windowsill. Obviously not asleep. Kiiro sat next to her and smiled as soon as Shortstraw entered the room. "I guess it is morning then, people have started to move around." Evelyn's ear flicked but she decided not to answer. Kiiro turned her head to Shortstraw. "Ohayō, mister Shortstraw." She tilted her head. "I hope you had a good sleep." Evelyn's ear flicked again but she was too lazy to say anything. Kiiro turned back to Evelyn. "Onee-chan's being lazy." Evelyn grumbled and flicked her tail around.

*Shortstraw smiled happily, "good morning Kiiro." He patted her head and put his plate aside, "you do know i'm not your master right." He chukkled, "and if your hungry lilly has a few plates ready." He then looked to his, "or you can have some of mine." He then finally moved over the eveyln and picked her up before holding her out, "and thats probably becuse today is judgment day for you and keria. Not that anything bad on my parts going to really happen. I can't really punish either of you... then again i dont even know the story yet." He nodded and held like regular house cat petting her as he sat down in a chair, "i'm glad your not alone at night anymore Evelyn." He nodded happily.

Evelyn grumbled more as she tolerated Shortstraw's petting. "From what all we've been through so far, the story won't shock you." Evelyn looked to the door. "Where is Kiera, anyway?" Kiiro crossed her legs on the windowsill to get more comfortable. "She's still asleep." Evelyn's eyes thinned at Kiiro. "How come you can tell and I can't." Kiiro smiled. "I got all the best perks, On-ne - chan." Evelyn stretched her legs out and grunted. "Don't remind me."

*Shortstraw chukkled* "I can already tell things are going to be diffrent by just having you here Kirro. Someone to look after evelyn when she gets all grumpy. She has her moments.." He leaned back in the chair, but now as he closed his eyes he spoke in more regualr tone, "i need to be tougher for you too. you and keria." He looked to evelyn, "i imbarissed myself pretty bad yesterday. And i wanna be a real man to you two. So i'm going to need your help shaping me. I thought i was already there but, now it's clear i an't." He smerked, "though i will admitt..." he looked to Kiiro, "Now you have something to live for other then me and keria. You have Kiiro. And she's part of our team, and basicly our growing familiy." He nodded, "which i do plan on making a actul familiy some day. Even if it's a hobo living in our attic or closest." he thought about it, "sorta like fu if you think about it." He burst out laughing. Just then eve came in with all torn up close and scares alover her. She was smiling though.

Evelyn only looked mildly concerned, although Kiiro made a face. "Who just came in? It's an aura I don't recognize." Evelyn chuckled. "That's Eve. Kiera's half sister. And she's looking pretty beaten up too." Kiiro frowned and turned her head. "Are you all right miss Eve?" Evelyn snickered and put her head on her paws. "She's fine. Don't you worry about Eve. She's probably the only capable one in this household. Not that I mean to flatter. That's just how it is."
Kiera woke up. However she only laid there for a few minutes before she had the energy to actually sit up. She rubbed her face and brushed her hair back. "Was it a dream, Paradioa?" She didn't need to look to know he was there.

*Parasioas almost softlike eyes peered out his coffen, "well i would assume that would depend on that of which you speak of. For all i know you could of been dreaming. Though if your speaking about the shortstraw, evelyn, and becoming queen thing, distroying all the humans or whatever then yes. But i would not fear it. For most of it is in the past now, and the boy seems to have already begun. I hope you slept well Misstresss," He replied feeling maybe he spoke to much. He wasn't all that used to her actully talking to him out and open like that, expechaly when she woke up.*
Meanwhile Eve smerked, "actully i have you all to thank this round. You, keria, shortstraw, hell even veria... as much as i would hate to admitt it." She actully walked over to Kiiro, "i heard about you kiddo. How you helped everyone." She rubbed the top of kiiros head, "you did good. Thankyou." She stood and looked to evelyn and shortstraw, "i think i got things handled from here." She then walked up the stairs and into her room.
Meanwhile Shortstraw looked to evelyn, "well thats good news for the morning." He nodded, "i think eve already likes you Kiiro." He chukkled.

Kiera rubbed her eyes and looked to the ceiling. "I tried to kill myself, then. And I was close to it. If not for-..." She shut her eyes and brought the covers around her. "Sleep is great. It's a time when you don't have to do anything, you don't have to be anyone. It's just sleep." She was now thankful to herself that she had shut the blinds because she didn't want the light blinding her.
Kiiro smiled. "I'm just glad I could help." Evelyn scoffed. "Yeah, everyone likes Kiiro so far." Suddenly there was tumbling down the stairs. "Speak of the devil." Dante burst into the kitchen looking ravenous. "FOOD. I NEED FOOD." He hadn't eaten for days. This is what happened when he didn't eat. Kiiro giggled. "Oh, Dante likes to eat." Evelyn laughed. "You don't even know."

*Pardioas shied, "indeed missstresss... however that is not how things work in the land of the living. And for a fate such as mine it is even moreso worse. I for one wish to have had a life no matter it's contents now that i have no choice but to watch the living move on and on... I do not wish to take sides with the unfortanate idots of the house, however missstresss... YOU ARE A FOOL!~" He smerked, "instead of worrying more about things as you do you need to live life without worry, else you may end up like me cught in a abcused box for internity... simply Missstresss i am saying... get your a** up and make the best out of it. Sleep maybe your only heaven, but without everything else, then sleep wouldn't have it's perks either." It seemed he was trying to just be... more guiding. Although he figured he was failing at it. That was on thing he did have alittle jeliousy at for evelyn other then a physical form, that ability to guid his master. Then again this is the closes keria has been to him for a vary long time. He didn't want to loose what trust he had finally gained.
Lilly was in the kitchn and pointed to a table of food, "all your master. Dig right in. You've erned it." She giggled.
Meanwhile shortstraw chukkled, "well he has been working hard. However..." he nodded, "evleyns right Donte is a pig. He eats and eats, but never gains! It's so weird!"

Kiera's eyes dulled then glowed slightly as she turned her head to Paradioa ever so slowly. "What did I say about speaking to me like that, Paradioa." Her tone was angry. She slowly slipped out of the bed and edged nearer to him. "You don't speak to me like that. I have plenty of other retards in this castle to tell me to get off my a** and do something. You just follow what I say and do what I ask of you. Got it?" Her eyes went back to dull as she remained emotionless once more. "Besides Paradioa. Life. You're not missing out on much." She edged herself across the room to slowly slip on her clothes. She didn't realize how much she didn't want to get up before she got up. But now she supposed she didn't really have an excuse for going back to bed. Even if she still felt like absolute s**t.
Evelyn raised an eyebrow at Shortstraw with a smirk. "Yes, he doesn't gain weight because there's this magical thing called exercise." Kiiro giggled and Evelyn looked back to the door. "And the fact that he's a kid. They barely gain weight when they're growing." She chuckled suddenly. "Apart from when Kiera was a kid. She was like a pumpkin." She was exaggerating but she didn't care.
