Adonai smiled and nodded at Cindy. "Then why don't you go on up and tell him, and you can get dressed as well," he suggested. "We'll worry about breakfast for everyone else. All right?"

Since he and Shael were already dressed it made sense for Cindy to be the one to go up and get Vergil.

"Thank you," Cindy replied glad that she could get changed now.

She quickly excused herself and hurried back upstairs to get changed and to find Vergil. After all, she only said he had to put on a pair of pants.

Vergil had gotten himself a bit distracted. He had intended to only put on his pants, as he had been told, but on his way to where his clothes were (the second level of his room), he passed by Yamoto, the sword that he'd had since emerging from his vase. Cindy had managed to convince him not to carry it around with him everywhere, but now he suddenly felt himself wanting it again.

So now he was sitting on his little bed, up on the highest level of his room, half dressed (he did manage to remember to put his pants on) and holding his katana in his hands, looking at it dreamily.

Cindy peeked into his room and shook her head. She had tried very hard to not have him carry it around (with his temper it only made it worse), and really it was kind of... strange how attached he was to it.

"Vergil..."

Vergil looked up when Cindy called his name, and his hands tightened slightly around his sword.

"Sorry, Mother," he said softly, slipping off the edge of the bed. "I got distracted."

He reached for the rope that went from the ceiling to the floor and, holding Yamato tightly in one hand, he climbed down carefully with his other hand and his feet.

She wasn't surprised he was to be honest, "Well, breakfast is being prepared, so I'm getting changed. It seems Rhea is a bit homesick so we're all going to visit her. We'll be leaving tomorrow."

Which should be enough time to get everything they needed for the trip.

Vergil blinked up at Cindy as he reached the floor. "We?" he repeated. "Am I going too?"

He had no idea where Rhea lived now: as long as he had been with Cindy, Rhea had been gone, and he didn't know anything about the outside world. Heck, he hardly knew Rhea, so she really didn't mean much to him.

"Of course you are," Cindy smiled, "I wouldn't leave you alone."

For more reason than one, besides it would be good for Vergil to see how big the world could be. So there was no reason not to take him along.

A wide smile split Vergil's face, and he darted forward and threw his arms around Cindy's ankle, hugging her the only way he could.

"Thank you!" he beamed up at her. "What can I bring with me? Can Yamato come? Please? I really don't want to leave it behind, that's like - that's like - that's like if you would leave me behind! Can I bring it? Please?"

Cindyl looked thoughtful at that, "The sword can come, but you are to keep it strapped to you if you insist on carrying it around, and by that I mean you cannot unsheathe it while we're there."

She didn't want any sort of incident while they were there.

That wasn't a problem for Vergil - as long as he could have his sword with him, that was fine with him.

"Thank you!" he cried, hugging Cindy's leg again. "Thank you thank you! I'll be good with it, you'll see!"

And he tied it on at his waist proudly.

She had to smile at that, he was so cute.

"I'm glad, now I'm going to get changed. Breakfast is being made and then afterwards we can start planning on what else to take."

For Vergil they might need to bring along a few things to help with his handicap.

"Okay!" Vergil beamed. "I'll go downstairs then, I'll see you there!"

And he zipped past Cindy and ran for the stairs.

It was amazing how child like Vergil still was at times. Cindy could only chuckle as she went to get changed. A short while later she was back downstairs, this time properly dressed, and her long hair brushed and braided.

She peeked into the kitchen to see how things were going.

Everyone was sitting down and eating by this time, and Shael and Adonai were peppering Aurin with questions about Rhea and the twins. The poor man was hardly able to eat, but he didn't seem to be troubled by the fact. There was a proud glow in his eyes and enthusiasm in his voice as he answered their questions.

"Already they have grown several inches since they were born," he was saying when Cindy entered the room. "Rhiannon's hair is growing faster than Xion's, and that is the only way to tell them apart without looking at the bracelets that we had made for them. I keep telling Rhea she should dress them differently, but she says that it takes the fun out of it."

He chuckled, amused even now by his wife's comments.
