Zagi felt her kiss, had she forgiven him already? wow... too shy, he didn't make a move to return the kiss and instead replied with "dont let the mosquitos bite" and leaned his head into his paws to sleep. (skip to morning?)
Kagu laughed a little, she wanted it, but had no intention of telling him anything. grinning she crept in closer "you cant handle the truth!" she laughed, like it was out of some film as she made a lunge for the apple to take it from him.

Genesis' eyes fluttered open as she yawned. She looked at him and smiled. She walked off the bed and layed next to him, cuddling against him. She yawned again as she smiled.

Leogun easily pulled it out of reach to the back of his head were she was a good inch away from his muzzle"you sure about that"he said staring deep into her eyes"im sure you might have something for me if you want this apple"he said spinning it by the stem

Zagi woke up, Genesis was beside him, he smiled and looked down at her, his eyes instantly moving from her face to where he'd stabbed her, it wasn't as bad today, but he still wanted to put some bandages on it, pushing her away from him slightly so he could get up Zagi stepped over quietly reaching for the bandages he knelt back down beside her, starting to take off the old ones bit by bit.
stopping as he moved the apple she stood still, Kagu was close, so close she could slightly feel his breath. she wasn't going to tell him, no... nothing. because there wasn't anything to tell...right? suddenly, she moved in just that much closer and kissed him.

Leogun kiss3d her back and placed the apple on the ground in front of her and after another few seconds pulled away and looked at her"i think that spoke for you"he said and then reached to the fire and turned the meat on it and then threw some seasonings on it, he sat for a moment and lifted his arm as to expose his side to her if she wanted to get back under his arm

Kagu didn't speak, did she... just do that?...to a stray?... blushing as he pulled away from her she leaned back, taking in her own actions, his words... and his lack of offensive retort.... sitting back she watched him briefly as he set up the meat, forgetting completely about the apple she had aimed for. A few moments of repeating thoughts through her mind she finally noticed his slight movements and moved forward, creeping under his arm slowly, gently and felt herself lean on him slightly. what am I doing? get out... get away from him, he's a stray, he's dirty, he stinks...he stinks? actually, he didn't... somehow she was amazed at this, it went against what she thought all strays were and so Kagu couldn't find anything in her mind to actually say about this that wouldn't sound stupid, so she spoke loudly, as if to throw him off of what she was doing "shouldn't we have left to deliver that thing already?"

Leogun looked at her and shrugged"yeah i guess if you wanna skip breakfast"he said pulling a rabbit off and noticing it was cooked just right and gave it to her and then pulled his squirrel off and bit into the sweet meat"were up pretty early so we have a little time to burn"he said and then pulled a canteen of cool fresh water from his bag and sat it in front of her"get your fill...its the last body of water till we get back"he said picking up the apple and putting it back in the bag

"till we get back? thats a long time" she moaned taking the meat from him she bit into it and continued to eat it in small pieces, a few moments later stopping briefly for a drink. she looked up quickly, about to say something about her actions, but didn't and instead sat staring at leogun as he ate his food... what possessed her to kiss him?... it cant be his looks...surely not...she couldn't think, and so continued to stare but realised he might notice her looking, and stopped... a few minutes later and she'd finished her food placing some of the more gross meat and bones on the floor near the fire and took one last sip. "come one then, lazy a**" she stood up, disregarding whether or not he was ready to leave

Leogun smirked kicked the remains of the meal into the fire and then stomped it out, he walked over to Kagu and stared her straight in the eye"tell me what youre thinking Kagu...dont make me need to get the apple out"he said reaching for the pouch it was in"tell me what youre thinking"he said getting closer to her face again

there it was, the remark. she grinned, and as he got closer she pressed into his chest pushing him so he was arm length away "strays have no business about whats going through my head" she turned from him and continued forward, she couldn't help but smile.

Leogun smirked he didnt see the point in trying to convince her he was no stray but he didnt really care, he looked at her for a moment and then looked up the mountain"were going up and over...you want a lift or you wanna try and climb this on your own"he said pointing at it

"I will climb it by myself, thanks" she said, in a kind of rude tone "I'm not some damsel in distress you know" Kagu knew full well it would probably be quicker if he carried her, she was going to be slow it had been a while since she bothered climbing any mountain shoulda just said yes, you idiot... say it now, throw away pride, pride is pointless, pointless... no, make me look weak, I will do it.... looking back briefly, she went ahead of him "i'll leave you behind you keep talking at me" she would be left behind later, she at least needed a head start.

Leogun shrugged and looked up the mountain and watched as she tried getting up the mountain"you sure...i wont tell any of youre friends...promise"he said a bit mockingly

she looked up, it was steep...pretty much rockclimbingly steep, say fine say fine say fine... "pfft, yeah I'm sure, who needs help from a stray?" idiot! with that, she turned to the mountain and started to climb, reaching about three steps up before her foot fell through with some crumbling rocks. she held on, though a bit stiffer than before, they were looser than she thought and remembered it had rained... "maybe... we should wait till it dries a bit more" she said, quietly.. realising she sounded like a wimp she stepped up a few more times, about 8 steps higher before it crumbled again... "dammit" she groaned fumbling a little to find another foothold
