"How does chicken, rice, pickled plums and some tea sound?" Iy-chan asked as she bent down to remove the old tatami mat and other items used earlier. "Allow me to clean up first and lunch will be ready shortly."

"oh.... Should I start doing mine or should i wait till you are done? I was wondering if there is a certain trick to doing the legs on the back of my neck?" Akyio asked as she intently watched her older sister apply white foundation.

She laughed, "Then it sounds like the perfect lunch!" Iyasu smiled softly, "Shall we clean up first and then get ready for lunch."

I roll up the tatami mat, pick it up, setting it on my shoulder, turn and ask. Ok where do you want this?

With everything, but her lips done she smiled. "Go ahead and start on yours. As for how you do the legs, its simple, just take this brush." She lifted up the correct brush for the job. "Dab it in the make up, then put it on the nape of your neck and turn. Here I hold the mirror so you can see what your doing." She told her kneeling behind her.

In her arms where the utensils used earlier along with the bowl of cool water. She looked to the tatami mat and then to the kitchen, remembering where the old tatami mats were piled to be sent away.
"Please, follow me everything we used has to be put outside. The old tatami mats are placed in a pile to removed later on this week." She replied to him as she started to head out of the tea room, down the wooden pathway and toward the back of the okiya, past the kitchen.

I nod and follow her out of the tea room and through the kitchen. My feet stung with every step I took, but I showed no reaction to the pain.

While Yokohana was applying her make-up, Yokome had just finished hers. She handed the jar of white make-up to her younger sisters and motioned to her to begin.

Iyasu looked back to Kibakichi as they stepped outside onto to stone path way. She smiled, "How are your wounds?"
She put the bowl and the "surgical" instruments in a wooden box and then she gently took the old tatami mat from the samurai. The geisha placed the mat in another wooden box filled with other old tatami.
"On to lunch!" Iy-chan smiled brightly as she stepped over to the ronin.

I toss the mat into the box, smile and say. They're fine, now let's eat. I turn around head back in to the kitchen.

"Of course!" The geisha replied as she walked into the kitchen and brought out two plates, two bowls and two cups from the cupboard. The rice and pickled plums were already made, but the chicken and tea would have to be prepared.
"I will have the rice and pickled plums out to you in the tea room shortly. Is that all right?"

I spin around, bow, and say. Hai. I take two steps backwards, turn and walk out of the kitchen back into my table in the tea room. I sit seza and begin to meditate, channeling my ki to my glove-jewel, Kontetsu, which began to glow dimly, barely muted against the sunlight.

Iyasu opened the rice steamer and scooped a out some rice for each bowl. Over head was a cabinet that held the preserves, Iyasu opened it and grabbed the pickled plums. She placed the plums on top of the rice and hurried out to the tea room with chop sticks ready. She placed the food on the table in front of Kibakichi.
"Here is the rice and pickled plums, I will be back with the chicken and tea." She said as she walked back into the kitchen to cook the chicken and brew the tea.

"Oh thank you. You are so helpful to me!" Akyio said as she did the legs of her makeup. "I want to make sure that the legs look good before i deicide to do the rest of my make up. I was wondering how much of my lips should i paint?"
