*Hikaru nodded silently. It was true that he had a lot on his mind, but it wasn't the kind of stuff he wanted to bother Clever with. They had just met after all. For now he let the subject drop. He was surprised when she grinned at him, wondering what she was thinking. He wasn't expecting her to ask him to dry dishes with that look on her face, he smiled and laughed at himself softly. He picked up a towel and started drying the cleaned mug.*
Putting me to work I see, heh. I'm sure you don't really know either, but I don't know where must of this stuff goes...I haven't been here that long, Synge would probably know better...
*He paused as he said her name. He didn't want to think about her, he was supposed to be thinking of her as only friend now, but it was hard.*

"Just open a random cabinet and see if other cups are in it, that's 'ow I put things away earlier."
*Clever set a few more dishes up on the counter, only a few more plates to clean and all the dishes would be done. There really hadn't been much. She seemed happy that Hikaru was helping, things got done faster with help, and she much rather be spending time with him than doing chores.
She listened to him speak, and pause at Synge's name.*
"You're close to 'er 'uh?"
*Clever didn't want to pry. However, she couldn't help observing the way the two seemed familiar with each other last night and how they has some sort of good understanding of one another.*

*Hikaru smiled at Clever's way of putting away things. He opened a couple of random cabinets before finding the right one and he put away the dry cup. He continued to dry the newly cleaned dishes and put them away with random guesswork.*
Heh, this is a pretty good method. I guess one girl really is more use than twenty boys.
*He winked and continued to help her with the dishes. He felt a kind of drop in his stomach he had heard her question about Synge. He nodded.*
Oh, yeah, she's by best friend from back home...
*It seemed as though he might say more, but he stopped there.*

((I am only going tot stay for a little bit. I don't know if I will be on later either...))
*Keira appears at the top of the stairs. She heard commotion in the kitchen and decides to investegate. She makes her way down the stairs and notices Hikaru and Clever in the kitchen. She sighs and decides to leave them alone. Keira was rather depressed about all of it and shuffles over to the couches to sit down*

"But twenty boys are alot more fun to be around the just one girl."
*Clever laughed at herself, thinking about a room fully of rowdy boys and one girl in the middle. She placed the last dish on the counter, washed her hands, and shut of the sink.*
"It must be nice to 'ave your best friend around."
*She picked up on the hesitancy in is voice, there wasn't much that needed to be said. Clever tugged the sleeves of her jacket down and leaned against the counter.*
"So what else can you show me about this place? I noticed a boat 'ouse the other night."

((Aw, why not? *sniffles*))
*Hikaru didn't hear or see Keira because of the noise from the dishes. He thought about what Clever said about twenty boys and he smiled, thinking something a bit different than what Clever was implying. He simply shrugged and put away the last dish. He set the towel back where he found it and leaned against the counter across from Clever.*
Oh it is, I chased her around for a while tracking her down and finding her here. It as worth it though.
*He smiled, a bit sadly almost. When he heard your question he stood up straight and walked out to the bar, talking as he went.*
Oh yeah, hmm...Well the boathouse is somewhere I've never been, really Keira would be better...
*He spotted Keira as he said this and wondered how long she had been sitting there. She smiled a greeting at her.*
Speaking of Keira! Heh, hi there. I was just saying that you know more about the boathouse than I do. Show us around?

*Once sitting down, keira hears clever mention the boat house and she sighs again. They were still doing the doing tour. Keira face was sad as she thought about her family. Would they ever find her here? Should she go out and look? Why did she have to start liking a land based boy? This is why she never got involved with guys for that same reason. Just then Hikaru chimes in and greets her. SHe shook her head as if to pass*
I really don't know more about it than you or anyone. My boat is tied up there and that's it.
*Keira shugs and waves her hand*
Just go take her. I'm just going to sit her if you don't mind.
*Keira wasn't in her usual mood today. She blamed it on her thoughts, but wouldn't dare share them with anyone*
((Becuase Steven is home and we are going to watch some TV together, after that I don't know if I will be on at ll tonight sad ))

((Aw, ok. *nod nod* That's cool, but I hope you come back!))
*Hikaru frowns at Keira's response. In a way, it saddened him. He felt a bit responsible for making her act this way. He made a note to himself that he would try and cheer her up a bit later. For now he just walked over to her and touched her head playfully, almost ruffling her hair.*
Oh come on, I've never even been there, so of course you know more! Heh, but if you want to stay here for now that's fine. I'll see you later?

*As soon as Hikaru and Clever would leave. She would lie down on the couch and take a bit of a nap. If anyone called to her, she would not wake. She just needed even more rest then she thought*

*Hikaru smiled in his charming way to Keira and nodded. He took his hand away from Keira's head and he looked to Clever to see if she was ready to go.

*Clever went to follow Hikaru then spots Keira. As he asks Keira to join them, she feels a little peeved. But she pushed it aside and smiled, she would be friendly.
After Keira declines and Hikaru ruffles her hair.Clever half smiled.*
"Yeah, Im ready to look around"

*Hikaru smiled as Clever pointed out that she was ready to go. He went over to the doors and turned to wait for her to catch up with him. He liked the idea of getting some fresh air really, so he was glad to go outside. He opened the door and held it open for when Clever would walk outside.*
Great, come on then.
*He smiled, completely unaware of Clever's thoughts about him talking to Keira.*

*Clever quickly catches up with Hikaru, breifly taking notice to Keira napping on the couch. As she takes a few steps outside, she realized just how pretty the area was. When she had came in the nights she could hardly tell how lush and green it was, or how blue the water in the harbor (in the distance)looked. *
" 'ow long 'ave you been 'ere?"
*She remembered him saying Keira and Synge knew the place better.*

*Hikaru let the door close behind the two once Clever was outside. He smiled as she admired the beautiful area. He also loved the scenery here, and was why he tried to spend a lot of his time outside rather than inside. It was much easier to think clearly outside. The tavern sometimes felt like it was too stuffy in a way. He started to walk of toward the dock.*
Oh, just a few weeks or so. Like I said, I came here looking for Synge. She left home in a hurry and I didn't know where she went, so it took me a while to find here. Now that I have, I've decided to stick around here because it is nice to be with Synge and I like meeting new people. Like you, heh, I never would have met you if I hadn't stayed here.
*He walked a bit slowly, he wanted to enjoy the outdoors, but they were approaching the dock quickly and he spotted Keira's little raft.*
What about you? Will you be staying long?
