Man, I had a creepy dream last night.
I drempt that I had to go to the bathroom (no, I didn't wet myself) so had to go downstairs. When I was walking down the stairs, I noticed that one of the lights had gone out, but this is a regular occurance at my house, so I didn't think anything of it. I was walking through the living room and was about to walk through the doorway leading from the living room to the hallway, and suddenly... I saw a knife floating in the doorway.
A BUTTER knife.
It was just floating there, about 5 inches from the top of the doorway, parelell to it, not moving or vibrating in any way. It kind of looked like it was frozen in time, right there. I did a double take and stared at it. It didn't look like it was going to move, but I didn't dare walk under it. Finally, I reached up and in one swift motion, grabbed it. I pulled it away easily and it didn't feel like anything was wrong with it, so I bent it and threw it in a drawer. I went to the bathroom and enjoyed a good emptying.
I came back from the bathroom, assuming the incident a minute ago was a halucination, and went to go back to bed. I noticed that the kitchen light, which was just on, went out. I went to walk back up the stairs, and right there, above the first step, was a steak knife.
Now I was really worried. I had two choices: Go outside, at 3 AM, in my skimpy nightgown, and walk to my moms house, or go upstairs and grab my cell phone to call her. I chose option number 2, and just as I had done before, bent the floating steak kife and threw it aside. As I was walking up the stairs, the living room light went off. And right above my bedroom doorway, was a CHEFS knife.
Feeling quite freaked out, I grabbed the chefs knife, but this time didn't bend it and kept it on me, just in case. I decided that when I called my mom, that I would tell her I was finding knives all over my house, and would just leave out the detail that they were floating. I walked up the stairs, and noticed that my bedroom lights had gone out and the light switch wouldn't flick them back on, but I could see a little bit from the light from my computer. So I walked up the stairs to my bedroom (its in the attic) and went to grab my phone from the bedside table. It wasn't there. I assumed that I must have knocked it on the floor when I got up, so I turned around to go get my flashlight, and right behind my head...
...was a floating butchers knife.
And then, I woke up. It was 3 AM and I had to pee very, very badly.
