You're in a funny business for a guy that doesn't like getting attacked.

You make weapons, and weapons accessories. On Gaia.

Oh, no. It's not that I don't like getting attacked. Otherwise, I wouldn't be in this business. Just that unprovoked attacks like this ******** piss me off. I did nothing to anyone and am currently trying to stop a war from going the wrong way (not to mention restructure a whole damn city and have my main character's destiny realized, or at least a part of it). So when two guys suddenly barge in and jump me, I'm like, "Time out. Who are you again, and what did I ever do to you?"

Example: I am expecting West Fall to turn an attack on Durem at any moment. In fact, I'm ******** waiting for them to start s**t. It's why I'm making all these weapons and support vehicles. The upcoming Civil War is also approaching, and while firearms will probably mean s**t in that, my teams will have the training and personal means to deal with the situation properly, armed or no.

Well...Holy Ken isn't bad. But I'm not sure what to make of him right now.

Some of his supers just feel kind of awkward.

delete him like you know you want to.

in other news, yahoo news fails at both coherent news reporting and spoiler tags, and marvel fails at not stealing ideas from gaia.

NEW YORK - Captain America has undertaken his last mission — at least for now. The venerable superhero is killed in the issue of his namesake comic that hit stands Wednesday, the Daily News reported.

On the new edition's pages, a sniper shoots down the shield-wielding hero as he leaves a courthouse, according to the newspaper.

I'm fairly tolerant of crappy characters.

I mean cripes, I still have supershittyjinmidget Goku on there.

Spoiler > It's because Cap didn't read the sniper's MySpace page.

the problems with dbz chars on mugen. by x.

1. most people who like making dbz chars suck at ripping sounds and graphics, as well as putting them together. expect to hear extremely loud sounds, or no sounds in some places. expect to see sprites that walk and have completely different colors- case in point, one goku i have that has a standing/breathing sprite with red gi ties, but movement makes them blue. or it may be vice-versa, i really don't care. also, jagged sprites that look like ms paint rips from magazines? check.

2. if they can rip the sprites correctly from their host games, they suck at coding them correctly. missing sprites during a jump, punch, or air-float are common. Which is kind of sad, because on the genesis and snes games, they only have about four punches. it shouldn't be hard for a decent coder to check his/her work and make sure that entire attacks aren't missing due to pointing at sprites that aren't there, or are mislabeled in the def file. also, the same color-changing goku has a flash counter where he appears under you and does a pop-up attack, likely for an aerial rave. thing is, he gets stuck in the flash -> pop-up loop and if it happens, you have to reset the round.

3. the ones that are perfect translations and have no graphical/sound problems have horrible AI for a game with evil ken on it. 3/4 of their time is spent charging, even when i F3 and give them full bars in the hopes that they use their super duper namek-shattering move. "vegeta-san", i'm looking at you.

4. if everything else is acceptable, then fine. broli's just loud as hell and i'm sure someone's complained of him being overpowered. he is slow in walking and his shoes squeak. but the fact that the action randomly pauses and he says things like "if you don't fight, i'm going to just kill you" is a nice touch.

There are 'bad guy' villains, who are out to mess things up for people just out of spite.

And there are 'jackass' villains, who just say "gimme gimme gimme".

The latter are always the better villains, because they're more believable. You can't really believe that somebody just wants to ruin things for everyone else or destroy the world or something unless they're just completely out of their mind. People usually have something to gain, and they'll act selfishly to achieve those ends. The 'bad guys' are just the ones who are willing to step on people to get there (read: Griffith).

to this... there was a discussion on another part of the internet why someone like kefka could not exist.
