Indeed they did. They all blocked Tenpo from getting to Kartia and Hoseki.
The demon roared and clubbed his fist at Kaira, with every intent to maul her.

Tenpo frowned and his glasses cracked. These were unruley types of priests. His wings spread on his back quickly. "You're going down" he frowned.

The two sisters were in the process of strangling themselves. Were they both going to die in this sick ritual?

Hoseki was pulled back towards the altar along with Kartia. "Let go!" She kicked and struggled but she was being carried by the waves.

Kartia struggled as well. "Help!" She called.
Sanzo turned and followed after the girls quickly.

The next thing Hoseki knew she was thrown into the damn pit! The pit where corpses were supposely thrown into! "Ah!" She caught onto the ledge but it was a matter of time before she lost her grip on the slick stone.

Kartia was taken to the same place but fell into the pile of corpses. She grunted and rubbed her head. "Ouchies. . ." She whispered.
Gojyo laid feel down next to Konzen and went after his sister as well, "Kartia! Hoseki!"
Sanzo was currently pulling Hoseki up. "are you going to be ok?" he asked.

The corpses started to move. They were bound and torutred yes, but they were moving! Zombie pit anyone?
Hoseki nodded And tried to get up with Sanzo's help. However the stone was still pretty slick the the years of blood on them.

Sanzo kept his grip. He hadn't gotten new clothes yet, still in his priest clothes. This made it a little harder. He suddenly felt something grab him from behind and then pulling. Gojyo was behind him pulling on his free arm.
"Hang on to her!" Gojyo frowned.
Kartia spun her guns around her hands as she loaded them. She looked up, her blood red eyes glaring and her left leg glowing with a demonic aura. "Bring it on." She frowned.

Hoseki was out of the pit with the added pulling force of Gojyo. Now she was just worried about Kartia. "Anyone have a ladder?"
The corpse dragged themselves towards her. Each reaching out to grab her. Majority of them were demon corpses.

Kartia's eyes narrowed and she began to fire at the demon corpses as she backed up into a wall. She soon after bent down a bit lower as to get ready to jump. Her leg began to glow and she jumped into the air, high into the air, landing beside Gojyo and she fell. "Ow. . ."
"How the hell did you. . .?" Gojyo stared at his sister.
"I-I don't know. . ." she answered.

I bought Saiyuki Reload vol. 1 and 2!
I brang it to school and I was like ". . . . OH MY GOD GOJYO SAID THE 'F' WORD!!!" then my friend was like "REPENT! REPENT!"
He says it in volume 2 also! YOUR A BAD BOY GOJYO! SHAME ON YOU! ))
