Kiera shut the curtains, got undressed and wrapped herself in the bed sheets as she laid down in the darkness. "No, that's fine Paradioa. I don't need you for anything else at the moment. I'd just like to rest." She shut her eyes. "Unfortunately this time it's not forever."
"PLEAAAAASE." "DON'T HARASS HER FOR IT." "I'm not showing you mister Dante." However followed by a small compressed giggle. "But why.... All I want is a peek." Kiiro giggled again as she sat in front of the fire next to Evelyn. "Sometimes the magic is in the mystery." Dante pouted. "Just a peek?" Kiiro finally gave a submissive smile as she nodded slowly. "All right." Kiiro shut her eyes and she started to shift her form. The form that came out of it, a small fluffy black fox with dull blue eyes. Dante instantly pounced on it. "You're so cute!" Evelyn scowled at them both. "Yeah yeah. Now get off my sister."

*Shortstraw came into the room and notced keria in bed arleady. Although at least now it was okay for her to sleep." He silently closed the door incase shew as already alseep and put his coat to the side, and changed into bed clothing. It was at least dry. He notced Paradioa closed his coffen and the curtains were closed. He walked over to the bed slowly and tried to get in without culsing alram, also checking to see if she was awake still or not.*
Meanwhile About this time Soflora was up again, and she heard some shouting from down stairs. it sounded like evelyn and Donte... she slowly rapped herself up and atempted to go downstairs again. This time actully making it down stairs before tripping on a blancket. "OOf." She just layed there, with her face to the floor, "why do i even bother." she spoke into the floor. She slowly went to pick herself up, snizzing in the process now so hard she flew back onto her butt. Cresent was also there, hogging as much of the fire as she could. "You are all to laud." She replied. Karen though giggled, "we sould go see moon. She's all alone down there in her little room." Cresent shied, "she's in that mode again... it's getting close to the same date her life basicly turned to s**t. Leave her be. Leave me be." Karen blinked and lost intrest in the vampire and pointed, "i never seen a black fox before! Thats cool!"

Dante eventually got up off Kiiro and sat in front of her and Evelyn. "I agree, it is pretty cool." Kiiro swiftly changed back into her small little girl form and smiled to him. "I'm glad you think so. It sticks out like a sore thumb, so I can't say it's very useful." Dante chuckled. "Evelyn sticks out like a sore thumb when she's not in her cat form." Evelyn glared at him. "And what's that supposed to mean?" Dante raised his hands defensively. "Well you know, not here. Just anywhere public. Because well. It seems nearly all the girls here... uhh..." Evelyn raised an eyebrow at him. "What's that Dante?" He shook his head. "Never mind.." Kiiro giggled at them both. "Oh, that Soflora girl is outside the room. I think she fell over again." Dante hopped up onto his feet and went to go see her. However he couldn't help but smile as he saw her sitting on the floor after falling. "I guess that spot really hates you, huh." He went over to her and helped her up once more.
Kiera was still awake, however didn't make it known that she was. She then brought her hands up to her face. "It's not late yet. Why're you already coming to bed?" She whispered.

*Shortstraw smiled with a whisper, "becuse you are and... i can tell your just not... i wanna be here for you. You no me i'm stubbern... when i'm not scared..." He shrugged, "I guess so you would have someone to talk to if you wanted. Or maybe... to help you sleep. I know you like it when i sleep near you..." he looked to her. "I'm worried about you keria.And i'm just trying to do my best. i dont mean to be annoying." He chukkled alittle.
Meanwhile Soflora looked to him, "hun... i know your having fun and stuff down here... but i havn't eatten in weeks, and i'm so sick... it's really getting hard to keep going. May i please... eat..." She was breathing rather lightly. But she felt bad for always bugging him to be her food now.

Kiera slowly placed her hand on his cheek and shut her eyes. "You're not being annoying. I really appreciate it." She put her forehead against his gently as she edged closer to him. "Thank you, Shortstraw." She kissed him. "I love you."
Dante chuckled and nodded. "Of course you can. You know you don't ever have to wait this long if you're really hungry. Just come to me even if you're peckish." Good old Dante. Putting himself up for a meal as always. Kiiro's head was looking to the floor however her other senses were concentration on Dante and Soflora. "Soflora basically lives off his blood." Kiiro turned back to Evelyn. "Oh. I didn't realize it was that kind of relationship." Evelyn chuckled. "No, you're getting it wrong. They both like each other just fine. However Dante is young and ignorant. And so are you." Kiiro turned her head back. "How old is Soflora then?" "Hundreds of years old."

*Soflora was too weak to fight it out or appologize agian. "You were too buisy and not at home... i coudn't find you. and it was raining..." she said softly as she attempted to go back up the stairs, she wouldn't be able to take him up this time. Even after his blood, she was sick. Vampires sick ment human striegth.
meanwhile Shortstraw kissed her back and smiled, "i love you too. And when we wake up tommorrow everythings going to start getting better." He hugged her and closed his eyes, "sleep well kerai... and dont you ever do that overdosing thing again you really scared me." he replied at the end of his basic goodnight.
Cresent rolled her eye as she sat there. However Karen sat down with Evelyn and Kirro. "Do you think Miss Keria and Mr shortstraw will ever have a baby?" karen asked. After all she was just a little girl too... from a messed up susscubus cult. She figured she wuld ask evelyn though, it wasn't offer karen was involved in stuff she was always with moon helping out best she could. But what no one knew was she was excessed with shortstraw and kerias love patterns...

Evelyn shrugged however chuckled a little. "Who knows. But Kiera said she doesn't want children." "Why not?" Kiiro asked curiously. Evelyn made a face. "She's afraid of not being a good mother. Because her parents weren't very good to her." Evelyn sighed. "But eventually they probably will. If it's an accident or not. Even so. Healthy children aren't always guaranteed in birth. Miscarriages are becoming more common these days." Kiiro frowned. "How jolly.." Evelyn shrugged once more. "I'm not saying that's going to happen to them. It just happens."
Dante frowned as he followed her and helped her up the stairs. "I know I haven't been around much. I've been helping Shortstraw with the war and things. Today we did really good, Soflora. We got rid of the parasite and we're probably gonna win now."

*Karen blinked rappidly, "i wanna find true love like that two! Just like them." She nodded. A odd little susscubus wanted true love instead of a regualr suscubus jsut starving for attention and control. "I heard you were the one that pulled them together!" Karen replied pointing to Evelyn.
Meanwhile Soflora nodded. "I knew you were working hard..." she basicly fell onto the bed, pullin ghim down with her as she the bit into him... this time she took way more then she uslly would, and she quick pulled herself of his neck worriedly, "oops... i didn't mean to take that much..." She turned him around and sort of shuved him into place on the bed, "i do hope he wil... will..." she sneezed and wiped the blood from her nose, "eh screw it he'll be fine." She laid down and lightly hugged him, passin gout almost instently.

Evelyn grinned to herself proudly. Yes she was a little too proud of all the successful relationships she'd caused. "Indeed I was." She chuckled. "I've been the cupid for Dante and Soflora, too. Seems I'm the matchmaker in this household." Kiiro smiled to her. "You should save some matchmaker skills for yourself, Onee-Chan." Evelyn grumbled. "I'm not like every other half-witted girl in this town. I don't need a man to be happy." Kiiro giggled. "A girl, then?" Evelyns face reddened. "And what are you implying with that?" Kiiro giggled again. "Maybe you're more attracted to girls, then." If anyone else had said that then they would have got a punch in the face. But since Kiiro said it Evelyn just grumbled more and looked away. "Yeah right. I'm not attracted to anyone." Kiiro blinked a few times. "Liar. Onee-Chan is a liar. You said yourself there's someone in the world for everyone." Evelyn scowled. "Yes but you don't necessarily have to be attracted to them."

*Karen blinked, "wait so that means... you already found someone you like." She was now even more intrested, "who is it! Is it someone i know! Is it the funny smelling fellow that follows Veria around? Is it shortstraw? Is it that cale guy that hides in our swers? Is it a random man on the street." Her eyes widdened, "OO OO OO i know IT"S DONTE~!"
Meanwhile Cresent chukkled, she couldn't help it. Just a light small chukkle as she looked away. Just sitting there infront of the fire. Evelyn was on the spotlight now. There was no easy way out either it seemed. She took a small brick out of her pocket and started to lightly scrap it aginst her points on one of the bands of her arm. It didn't really make much of a sound. Else it would have annoyed even cresent. She seemed to be lisening, but in her own little world at the same time.

A small vein on the side of Evelyns head thumped and she rubbed her temples to calm herself. "I'm not saying it because of experience. I'm saying it because I'm old and wise." Kiiro smiled. "Onee-Chan you also said that no one who says they are wise is wise." Evelyn grunted and laid back onto the floor. "I give up with you two." Kiiro turned back to the floor. "But is there someone for you, Onee-chan?" Evelyn shrugged. "There might have been, once. But I killed him. Either that or he wasn't for me." Evelyn sighed and shut her eyes. "I'm just not made for other people. I'm an exception to that rule." Kiiro frowned. "But that would mean you don't care about anyone." Evelyn shook her head as she now stared at the ceiling. "No, it just means I'm incompatible. And it doesn't bother me." Kiiro raised her head to the celing. "I wonder if you're lying. That girl Kiera told me a couple of months ago that you were a good liar, Onee-Chan. She says you do it because you don't want people to care for you. You don't want people to be disappointed with the person you are.."

The scraping on cresents belt stopped for a moment as cresent stared off into the fire. "Sometimes kid it's better for those that dont want others to care for them, becuse there is a pain inside ones self that loths to be free, or someone lost that they loth... that theirselves were free." She looked down and started scraping again. Now going silent once more.
Meanwhile Karen shook her head, "no no no, eveyone has at least a few someones they are compatable with. Trust me i should know, i'm a suscubus." She nodded, "love is my sorta thing." She looked to Evelyn, "i think you just try to make sure no one falls inlove with you. Like Mr shortstraw. I know for a fact he loves you just as much as Mis Keria. That however is a clusless mystery to me though. I can't seem to figure out... why." She shrugged.

Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Yeah. I've always been too aware about Shortstraw. I don't want him to feel like that to me. Unrequited love is the worst thing. And then when I disappoint him he'll get even more upset than if I didn't mean anything to him. Like just a couple of days ago when he thought I had betrayed everyone. It was more painful for him because he cared for me. So he's stupid." Kiiro smiled suddenly. "Love is different than just caring for someone. Besides, I don't think its bad to love someone. It seems like a beautiful thing, actually." Evelyn chuckled. "Spoken like a true child. Just wait until you see what this world has to throw at you." Kiiro frowned again. "I still have hope for you Onee-Chan. If people can just see what you're really like." Evelyn laughed. "Love is a fools game. You just crash harder if you lose. 'What I'm really like' Is nothing for anyone to fall in love with me for. Because its an ugly thing. And I'm glad that its ugly, because it keeps people away. And how can you love others when you can't love yourself?"

*Cresent nodded as she stood up and walked past evelyn, "now theres a true question." She looked over he shoulder and stopped a the doorway fo the livingroom, "when you fail to love yourself, it's only becuse of what you done and what you can never forgive." she turned and opened the door, "look after you sister kid. Your all she's got." and with that Cresent left. Not of anger or anything. That was just how cresent was. Meanwhile Karen was nodding silently the whole time, "buuuut it give you more of a reasion to live dosn't it!" she nodded, "shortstraw i mean. I heard when he gave you a choice to either fade away or stay with a peice of his soul! Why did you stay Mis Evelyn? Was it becuse of shortstraw? Or was it for your sister? Or was it becuse you wanted a second chance?" She looked up to evelyn like a little kid would. Seemed now only evelyn was the "grown up" int he room.

Evelyn scowled as she shut her eyes. "That.. Was just an impulse of the moment thing. I don't know." Kiiro smiled to her. "Well clearly it wasn't. You make faces when you lie Onee-Chan." Evelyn sat up properly again and rubbed her face. "Shouldn't you children be in bed." Kiiro giggled. "I don't sleep. And you still haven't answered her question." Evelyn sighed angrily. "I stayed for more than one reason. I'm a logical person, you know. I like to weigh the pros and cons." Kiiro put a finger to her lips. "You know that's the first time I've heard you refer yourself as a person." Evelyn made a face. "Anyway. It wasn't just one thing." Kiiro almost looked like she was staring at Evelyn. "Then what?" Evelyn sighed. "There was the plan Amelie and Kiera had. There was the fact that Kiera would have done everything she could have to bring me back. There was for Shortstraw. There was the chance to do something useful for once. And so on." Kiiro chuckled. "See, you care about Shortstraw and Kiera." Evelyn grumbled. "I care about them but I don't love them." Kiiro tapped Evelyns head cutely. "Well you accepted Shortstraws offer didn't you? And you went to go save the Kiera girl when he had given up didn't you? You wouldn't do that if you didn't love them." Evelyn finally got snappy. "I DON'T LOVE THEM FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. I DON'T LOVE ANYONE AND NEVER WILL." "Even your own little sister?" Cale stood in the doorway with his defiant little grin. Evelyn glared over to him. "Go away, halfblood." Cale shrugged and sighed. "Sticks and stones may break my bones. I realize that we're not exactly on the best terms right now." Evelyn's eyes thinned. "I told you to <******** off." Cale chuckled. "Now now. There are children in the room. I'm not here to purposely annoy you, kitty."
