Hearing that it was coming up next, Shadow was a bit worried. He didn't show it, but he was concerned that he has to fight without a weapon with help him process pure spirit energy. Now that his spiritual elven katana was gone, he can no longer use that power wind spell either. His only resort now is to fight without his restraint. Suddenly, the pumpkin on his head started to speak for itself as if doesn't seem to approve of Shadow. As much as he doesn't like things with a big mouth, Shadow took Cross's word and paid no mind. What really made him wonder was that how Cross could put up with such a loud mouth. He could almost feel sympathy for him just like how he first met him bandaging his wounds on his last mission. A bothered look appeared on his face for a moment as a sweat drop passed his face from the mere thought of it. "You seem to be doing alot better", he said from his point of view after the last mission. Suddenly, Rei came up next to Cross happily holding his arm. "You sure seem lively tonight, sempai", he said calmly as he tightens his blood stained black bandaged arm, preparing to make sure the wounds were under pressure to close up and cease the bleeding.

Akira Inugami strolled through the gates of the school, his face buried in the acceptance letter he received. "This looks like the place," he said to himself, looking up to marvel at his new school. "A place for monsters..." There were rings under his eyes from the night before. He was so excited about school that he couldn't sleep. Finally, he could be in a place where people didn't look at him with looks of fear and hatred. He could finally belong somewhere. Akira stepped forth into his new life.

His cheeks suddenly became erubescent at both Orochi and Cielle's reactions. There was a small part of him that was pleased to let them know Melodie was his, but a bigger part of him was rather embarrassed. "Uh... Maybe she'll tell you when she wakes up, Plus," he murmured, shifting slightly in his seat. Now that the shota-looking healer mentioned it, Melodie looked like she was feeling nothing but pure bliss. "I don't think it's her inner self.. Probably the large amounts of holy light in her...." Xavier was about to caress her cheeks, but Cielle's hand suddenly came into view, touching Melodie's forehead. "Hm... I'll stay here... The tournament isn't worth it if Melodie isn't amongst the audience. Besides, I don't even need that... I'm already a graduate form Sanctum Academy," he informed them, leaning back against his chair and letting his arms drop to his side.
