Penelope ran down the hall of the base, a few other rockets following close behind. The elite ducked into a room where a big shiny button was. She pressed it and an electromagnetic shield activated. "Cover's blown!" She grimaced, but grinned as she heard the engines start and the shield encompass the whole inn.

x_Nata_x Liam glanced up at the sound of a familiar voice, looking slightly less angry as he turned to face Lumina. It certainly wasn't her fault, and he wouldn't take out frustrations on the girl, especially considering all the thoughtful things she had done over the course of the last few days. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he offered her a smile, amused at her statement despite how he wanted to kick things. "Not carry me. Drag me maybe. With my head hitting each step on the way up," he teased, sobering a little at the comment of the trip not being over yet and nodding slowly, "Still have rocket corpses to collect." That last part he muttered, almost not wanting her to hear it, considering how negative and morbid it was.
Taking a few steps outside, Liam's eyes settled on a shadow off in the distance, squinting a little at it. But a moment later it was gone, and the healer shook his head, shrugging it off as nothing. "Listen," Lumina started, her face earnest, "Just hold on a little while longer, m'kay?" Not that she could really say what to hold on to or why, but it sounded right anyways, "I don't know if you heard since you were out of it for a while, but we did a lot of scouting. The eevees were all clones that are experimented on and are still out there and need help. I'm not sure what all we can do, but there's a lot of trainers here."
She grinned, "I know it's not your thing, but keep your hopes up, alright? We all got this far, it'll turn out fine in the end so long as we keep trying. Adventure comes with both ups and downs, so I'm pretty sure we have to have some ups coming in."

Etna reared back, startled, as the small Pokemon appeared almost underfoot. Robin had to wrap his arms around her horn to keep from falling to the ground. "Whoa! Don't trample it!"

Suddenly, eevee? Corn could use a Pokemon of her own. Digging through her bag, she finds her Pokeball at last and gives it a hurl. POKEBALL, GO!! Or not!

Shina emerged from the base, confused at what had just happened. ((Drat, I didn't realize that we were to go to the main thread.))

@anyone Jay lagged behind the others as they all finally regained freedom. He didn't feel like he had done much to help, and he would be useless in a fight, since he had no pokemon. He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings as he was so wrapped up in his thoughts.

Alex realized that no one was watching for trainers leaving. "Blitz!"
He looked up. "Eleee?"
"Do you remember what Penelope smelled like?"
The Electrike whined and sniffed around.

Rhiannon Chandra When Carter reached them Rhia threw herself on him in a tight hug for a moment before she stepped back, rubbing her free hand on her pants.
The woods? Rhia's brow creased in a frown. "The forest you mean? But... Oyumi and I were there all night." She looked back to her friend. "We didn't hear a peep, let alone meet anyone out there." The only thing she could think was that the pair had gone too far in before the kidnapping began.
"We thought we saw a Flareon," she confessed, "And we headed deeper into the woods. Maybe we got beyond where they considered looking. But with Team Rocket in the group, why didn't more go missing sooner?" She looked at the massive group of people again. So many trainers at once. Team Rocket should have known better than to do that. "I don't know. But soon as we got into smaller groups they certainly pounced fast." Lumina grimaced.
Despite all the chaos, the watcher had her notebook out, her fingers following the eevee.

Following after Penelope, Brianna... or rather Nikki, grumbled irritably. "Yeah no kidding." That was the understatement of the century right there.
Snorting, she pulled out the band from her hair to let it hang freely. She was about sick of this purple colored hair and cheery attitude anyway.
But for now all she could do was sit and wait like the rest as the engines started and the shield went up.

(She said an emergency with her birds, I thought maybe one of 'em was choking on a sunflower seed or something. (There's a reason for this: I don't know anything about birds because they hate me...))

Lady Mist "Listen," Lumina started, her face earnest, "Just hold on a little while longer, m'kay?" Not that she could really say what to hold on to or why, but it sounded right anyways, "I don't know if you heard since you were out of it for a while, but we did a lot of scouting. Adventure comes with both ups and downs, so I'm pretty sure we have to have some ups coming in." Surprisingly, it was the right thing to say. Liam stared at the pink-haired girl for a few minutes longer, obviously thinking, before shrugging -- while it wasn't an obvious 'you're right,' it was certainly an admission that she was, to anyone who read the signs right. She was right, obviously.
Focusing his attention on her for the update on what had happened, he raised his eyebrows at the mention of the cloning, surprised and yet completely not. That sounded like a very rocket thing to do. Again, he nodded at what she had to say about staying positive.
"Man, I hope so. We could use some ups, with all the downs that've been plaguing this poor trip."
At this he smiled again, shaking his head a little and letting out a sigh.
