Ryka leaned against the wall and sighed. "You're never going to get along with me, are you?" She quietly asked Vulpix.
'Nope.' Vulpix replied with a smirk. She turned her head to look at Ryka. Before she could say something else, three people walked out of the Center. Vulpix looked a little frightened and ran behind a wall.
Ryka looked over to see Mitsu, Dante, and Mag walking out. Ryka decided to keep silent. She watched as the three walked over to a nearby field, and took position as if they were going to battle. Ryka sat down to watch. Thunder dashed up to his usual spot on Ryka's shoulder, still biting his bagel.

"Too slow, dodge it Ivy and use Sweet Scent. Follow up with Tox-" Mitsu caught herself at the end not sure if Shiva could handle the attack. "Let's go with something else. Follow up with a Tackle!"
Ivy jumped backwards and to the side a bit, surprisingly more agile than usual. He shook the bud on his back and the air filled with a sweet scent. No Pokemon could resist it, and maybe humans too. The Ivysaur then follwed up by running straight into Shiva who seemed to be distracted by the scent in the air.

Something shiny catches your eye. Deciding to pick it up from the pile of dirt that covered it you notice that it's a TM. TM 07 to be exact. You guess that it's the attack Hail, which it is. You take it and continue on your journey.

Something shiny catches your eye. Deciding to pick it up from the pile of dirt that covered it you notice that it's a TM. TM 07 to be exact. You guess that it's the attack Hail, which it is. You take it and continue on your journey.

Thinking quickly an idea came to Dante as he looked at the area and the snow around it. Hopping that the Sweet Sent attack didn't affect Shiva enough to slow down its reactionary speed he ordered. "Shiva use Ice Ball." Shiva who had been watching Ivy come up in a tackle attack barked once and ice quickly formed over her body. However she didn't get a chance to roll when the Tackle attack hit her body and sent the ball of ice hurtling through the air. The ball of ice hit a few things but remarkably held sheilding Shiva from most of the attack. Dante smirked at this. "Shiva reinforce the ice and get rolling." Shiva didn't say anything since it was frozen in ice but the ball repaired itself and started charging up a roll, kinda like Sonic if you know what I am talking about, and after a moment shot out in an attack at Ivy.
((I love the attack Ice Ball. Like Rollout only with Ice! XDDDD))

((Ice ball is really fun to use specially after defense curl since it doubles the damage it causes (same with rollout). Oh and the Water and Ice cancel out the weakness to Grass by the way. Yay I get to face the Houndoom!))
"Quick thinking Dante." Mag continued to watch the battle but began to contemplate about his own. Vaporeon had a type advantage against the Houndoom but it didn't know any strong water attacks yet. Flareon would all together cancel out his oppoents fire attacks but Sapphire might have Flash Fire as well.

"Heh," Mitsu said thinking of a way to aviod the next attck as Ivy was sent flying across the field from the second attack. "Razor Leaf!" Mitsu said pointing in and opposite direction of Shiva. Ivy sent the sharp leaves flying, clearly missing Shiva. "Ok now!" Mitsu said as Ivy launched seeds over Shiva's body and the ground around it. She smirked hoping the ice wouldn't cancel out Leech Seeds effect.

Dante bit his bottom lip as he watched the seeds try to get through the icy barier and down to Shiva. It ended up being a standstill between the two. The intese cold of the ice put a damper on the plants movements while the plants slowed Shiva's momentum. After a moment Dante shook his head and ordered Shiva to break out of the ice ball and use powered snow again only this time on the surounding vegitation and cover the area in snow. Shiva rolled away and broke out of the ice and lifted its head and took a deep breath and used powdered snow making the area become covered in a small layer of snow, efectivly slowing down all plant growth.

Mag continued to watch the fight. He was making a mental note incase he ever got grass/ice pokemon. Some of these moves could come in handy in another battle.

That ice is really annoying. Mitsu thought for a moment. "Plants'll be slow now so why don't we go for a different approach!" Mitsu said. "Cover that snow with Poison Powder and then attack with Vine Whip!" That should stop Shiva rolling around on the ground seeing as if it rolls it'll collect the poison. Ivy did as he was told then lauched his vines at Shiva who was not protected by his ice anymore.

Dante saw the vines coming and curse silently to himself. He couldn't have Shiva rolling around because of the poison. He closed his eyes and thought quickly before an idea came to him. "Shiva use Ice Ball." He called out a slight grin on his face. Just as the vines came close enough to hit Shiva the ice formed around her body and the vines and Shiva were frozen together by the ice. "Sorry Mitsu. That was the onlything I could think of." He called out appologetically. It was kind of a miracle that the ice had frozen fast enough and at the right time for the vines to be trapped in there with Shiva.

"Wow.. That was a good move. Now the poison won't hit Shiva and he has Ivy trapped." Mag said to himself.

Ivy winced at the ice enclosing around his vine. "Oh Ivy!" Mitsu said more to herself than Dante. Now that they were connected though it would be easy to use one of Ivy's strongest moves. "Clever, but not as effective as you think. Giga Drain!" Mitsu called out. The vines were already frozen on Shiva so Ivy began to drain away at Shiva's life gaining his back.

"I suppose it is a double edge sword." Mag noted to himself. He walked more toward the center of the area where the trainers were fighting. Maybe he could be the reforee for the fight. "I guess I shall take the position of Ref." Mag said to the trainers.

Dante frowned slightly. While Shiva could continue to battle he didn't want her to get poisoned. Sighing he raised his hand to signal the end of the battle before moving through the snow and over to Shiva. Shiva had dropped the ice around her and was looking tired but proud of herself to have put up a good battle against such a strong pokemon. Dante reached down and picked her up. "You did great Shiva." He said with a smile. He glanced over at Mitsu then. "Thank you for battling me Mitsu. Beleave it or not it helped a lot."
