The purr apparently sounded like music to his ears because adrenaline kept on rushing and he knew that was a very good thing now. Potion or otherwise, things must be going smoothly because purring was a good sign. Meant that she was feeling good and he was the reason for it. But now it was back to somewhat confusion... as she flew back and forth, arcing over his head at times but never close enough to touch, and there was also a certain challenging look in her eyes. He was idle from merely flapping wings to keep him hovering there as golden eyes went back and forth, never leaving her slender body. Another unsuspecting roar from his throat and he took off after her once again, speed being his advantage to cut her off several times, looping through the thick clouds in a seemingly endless game of cat and mouse. But then he seemed to remember the plan again and pulling out of a turn, he maneuvered onto his back, exposing his belly to her as he was supposed to. Well if his body wasn't "ready", it wasn't rebelling either so he merely glided along, wings flapping steadily to keep him in midair as he watched for her next move.

That noise to her meant a lot more than it would seem to others. One of frustration but also of promise that he was good enough to catch her and that he would accomplish just that. But that didn't sway the aerobatics between them, merely seemed to intensify the intricacy of interaction. She was granted a brief reprieve thogugh as he come to glide in speed with her, just a little below her so that they didn't wreck into each other and become a tangle of scales and wings. In natural respone she had tilted some so her side was more toward him, seeing as every dragon knew you didn't want you underbelly to be ripped open. Not fun. However instinct of the moment dictated that show of trust to the other as he flipped in his flightpath to show that vulnerable dimension of himself to her. Amber eyes seemed to give him a once over and making him purposefully wait before a shift of wings to change position and returning the gesure to him by mimicking back what he was doing. Yup, it was mostly about trust...but that was forgotten more or less in the wake of instinct.

It was going to be impossible for him to retire his logic and fully succumb to this "instinct" that he was supposed to be feeling but it was still obvious that the potion had had its influence on him. He gave up on questioning the what-if's of the situation and merely followed the plan now, cruising along beside her, golden eyes that had taken on a questioning glint watching her. At first it seemed like nothing was going to happen and he felt his tail flick almost impatiently, before she banked and turned over completely so that her pale belly exposed as he had done. His body didn't hesitate to take advantage of that display of trust and so he moved smoothly, positioning himself over her before closing the distance between them so they could touch again.
First things first though, he had to run through his mental checklist so that he could be sure he wouldn't injure her by accident. Paws and claws... spines... horns... everything seemed fine and so he let his tail entwine naturally with hers as his wings kept beating a rhythm to keep them in the air, weaving through the hazy mists of cloud. Something different was happening with their physical contact this time though. He didn't feel the soothing heat anymore, instead it was like some foreign sensation. Though not unpleasant, he just couldn't name it. A low growl reverberated in his throat in response and he titled his head, rubbing the bottom of his chin against her neck, apparently trying to seek closer contact.

Idly she watched as he arced in flight, shadow falling over her and the clouds before he was close again, the slight feeling of claws against scales signaling that first from him before his tail trapped hers. She Folded her wings some as she knew to do for some reason, giving him the room he needed to be the one to propel motion...no one liked a tangle of wings and plummet to the ground. It just hurt. There was a certain flare of panic though from that action before it was soothed as he nuzzled at her. Leather, wind, embers and something that just seemed...well Kaznec.
A purr back to him, craning her own neck to get more of that contact from him as she let talons brace against his scales for some traction and to keep him close. Feeling kind of funny. Like stuck in a pleasant haze of a mix of scents that made you just want to relax. Like laying in the sun on soft sand on a clear day, that certain air of serenity to things. Though her scales were feeling a tad funny, like a tickling feeling almost. Actually that was turning into a whole body thing it seemed...A part of her that was still more thinking than anything idly chided in whisper tone in the back of her head about 'too far'. But we were enjoying the fun new feelings.

How he was managing to keep them in flight and with some semblance of direction, he didn't know. But obviously this "natural instinct" knew what it was doing because he wasn't feeling the uncomfortable ebbing inside anymore. Instead it was all smooth, warm (though not in terms of temperature only), and if he dared say this... natural. And as if by nature, her instincts dictated that she confirm with him that she was feeling the same pleasurable feelings with a purr, which he acknowledged with a similar sound in return and then a puff of smoke from his nostrils that was almost like a draconic sigh. This was a good experience and it had been done for a good purpose as well, and though he didn't know if the marking was happened, it was probably safe to assume that it was working.
After some undetermined amount of time later though, the intensity of feelings surged in his blood as it seemed to urge him on further, to get even closer to her if that was even physically possible. Well perhaps... perhaps that would bring them both more good feelings and he was just about to shift when another very much familiar sensation overpowered that desire for further pleasure. His right wing twitched and they instantly banked a little too sharply, throwing him out of the comfortable phase he'd been in as he blinked, alarm snaking its way into golden eyes. But what if the ritual wasn't over yet? They had come this far. A little longer... just to be sure.

If they could see themselves, it would probably be a picture of the likes they had never seen. A certain tranquility that had settled over both of them and wiped out the rest of the world, letting nature and what one would call instincts dictate reactions. Her talons flexed lightly in response to his shifting as if to allow him the movement...till other movement made her head swim in the unpleasant way...like when you were a dragonling and were learning to fly and turned to sharp and too fast. Shook her out of her haze a moment and grave her senses back to her somewhat, eyes looking to his and catching that familiar look.
She knew it! Knew it was a bad idea! But why did it have to feel so damn good, and why did she want more despite how he was obviously starting to feel the effects of such things...it made sense. Being in form and idle was one thing, being in form and playing around in such fashion was another. A snuff of cold breath, a snap and a hiss at him as if to tell him enough, paws braced instead of holding against him to put some distance between them...well as much as she could anyway. He was still stronger after all. Yup that rational mind was still there...despite that wonderful foggy feeling.

Shaking his head, he took another swig of rum. "Flying. Isn't that the best way to have a little fun anyway?"
Eilynne stood next to Rahsaveer and studied the clouds, shaking her head. "Goddess be with them now. She's the only one that can ensure things go according to plan." Her gaze moved back down to those on board and she easily picked out the two elves and rider dragon. "She needs to go below deck. Everyone needs to be prepared to move out. The sun is setting and that was Captain Nereem's choice of departure. The dragons should be joining us shortly."
"You realize this is going to wreak havoc with Sky, right?"
"Havoc? What do you mean?"
Rahsaveer shook his head. "Kaznec will sooner bite Sky than upset Jaebell. The way those two have a rather...interesting relationship, we might have fighting dragons on our hands."
"Not a worry. Skylheera is not stupid just suppressed. Draconic instincts never leave. It was in the contract and it was a last warning before our kind departed. If the Riders have forgotten, that is their mishap to deal with."
"But you do realize that Kaz and Jae aren't exactly going to be themselves?"
Eilynne smiled as she saw a flash of scales through the cloud cover. "Exactly."
Shyrae caught the message and shook her head. "Now's the time, Sav. Take Sky and go below deck. Desdemona, inform Hunter that Gem is ready to ship out as soon as those dragons come back."

Desdemona glanced at Hunter with a nod. she knew that he knew her body language and her motions as easily as he knew his own. he'd know to be getting ready. before looking at those two little child like things. They were playing with fire with those two. lets just hope no one got burned. be it bell or her or anyone else. but that wasn't he business right now.
"We'll be ready. and I see you sent your rather..sullen companion down with the dragon. So, you know anything about sailing?"
Mister Richards was already working the crew, and Caden as well, to get things setup and ready for sail. the illision mirrors in place to give the heat effect to make them seem much father off then they were, and ready with the sound effects that would give the impression the ship was also much larger than it appeared. foggers...well foggers had never worked for them. the ship often traveled just too fast for foggers to work. Hopefully Gem would have better luck if she tried them.
"Get ready to move. we're running silent. no unneeded conversation. hand signals and code. someone teach that to Caden, a crash course on what's needed."

Eyes meeting for a moment, he saw that surprise in hers and knew that it was because of his erratic movements. He needed to control himself better. With or without the potion, there were far more pressing things on his mind now. But it seemed like she had been angered by those sudden jerky movements and didn't want to risk another try. Or maybe she knew that the ritual was over now and she had been successfully marked? Uncertainty and logic gone haywire returned to his mind, fueled by the discomfort now ebbing its way down his wing muscles and towards his spine. Though he fought valiantly to keep them steady, eventually he knew it would be less of a risk to just stop. Rahsaveer had warned of "going too far" as well... another issue he had to weigh in his mind.
Thus he tolerated a few moments of her struggling before letting go completely, breaking that surreal connection between them and hovering in midair to stare at her. It was over and done with now though; whether it had worked or not, he could know later. But for now, he listened to his rebelling body and plummeted downwards, breaking through the thick cloud cover and speedily making his way back towards the ships they had deviated from. A split-second shift and he landed on the deck in a cloud of crimson, expression grim but eyes turned back to search for the other form that was supposed to follow him.

"Wow...you know. I never considered that. I bet that's quite the thrill...Have to try that one day." Hey, they constructed gliders that had to be used for more than just quick cross travel right? But seeing Kaz land, she got herself up with her bottle and finished off her muffins. "Alright up boys! Time to move out!"
Walking over to the little dragoness who was staring across the way, she grabbed her by the tail and promptly started dragging. "Come on you, we're going to go sit in the dark and brood. I think you're up for that." Thus below deck with them.
It was an...odd feeling of loss when he let her go and she could easily say she didn't like that at all. Despite how fun that haze was how wonderful being close to him was...health just couldn't be ignored. And she watched him back until he disppeared out of view and she knew that he had switched back for the better and for travel. She followed him shortly after, shifting her own forms as she broke cloud cover and spiraled down to land on the deck next to him moving to rest her hands on his upper arms with that worried look despite the connetive feeling that arced up at the action. "Kaznec..." He knew what she was asking, and didn't even had to really ask. She always worried about him.

And he was just about to apologize to her for cutting their ritual short when she touched him again and heat flared up briefly, before his body rebelled and he shivered involuntarily, fingers twitching until he clenched his hand and relaxed it again to make things calm down again temporarily. Tilting his head slightly to watch her though, he frowned. She wasn't angry at him? No... she seemed more worried than anything and now he knew why. "I'm fine. Are you..." A thought snapped inside him mind though and he moved his eyes from hers, searching the deck for the two Laerethe and catching their attention for a moment. "Did it work? Is she marked?"

Shyrae watched Savvy drag Sky and shook her head but kept her mouth shut. Defending Sky when Savvy was in that kind of mood was probably not a good idea. As long as she wasn't too harsh with her because that would only undo everything Kaz and Jae and she had worked for with the little dragon. Amber eyes gazed through Desdemona and she shook her head. "No. I'm usually down below with the chef. But I'm here to fight."
Something was off...something had happened and she could see it written plainly in the guilt in Kaznec's eyes. Physical limitations were always going to be a bother with these two, weren't they? Kaznec's voiced question got a simple answer. She grabbed one of the males from the ship and thrust him towards Jaebelltiah. If Jae was marked, Kaz would be possessive. She could have just told the dragons that yes, it had worked and beautifully so, but found this method a decent introduction to their new mindsets.

She had given a nod to him at his question but didn't get anythign else out past that as it seemed his mind wanted to know the question of important things. She thought that maybe she'd smell like him now and couldn't they tell that way? After all she knew how she smelled...like a mix of that distinctly crisp scent of the ice caves and fresh parchment...maybe a bit of other mixes, but thsoe are what she noted most. Did she smell like leather, wind, and embers now? But a blink and a light step back as one of the pirates was more or lest thrown into her personal space.

He knew that there was no point in settling his mind on the pain in his body. It was going to stay, like an unwelcome visitor, and leave on its own time. The potion had affected that part of his consciousness and made him forget about his bioclock, now he would just have to live with it. Besides, he had to focus on the more important issues at hand. At first he thought they hadn't heard him because Eilynne didn't answer, merely pushed a nearby pirate towards Jae, which inadvertently made the dragoness stumble backwards. Or so he thought... Moving instinctively then, he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him instead, keeping her balanced and tucked against his side. Blinking in mild confusion for a moment, he glanced between the two. "So... it has worked?"

Eilynne nodded. "Unparalleled success. Jaebell is officially yours, Kaznec. You belong to each other now take care of each other." Taking in all the preparations being made, she glanced at Rahsaveer and nodded for him to go take his place. Turning back to the dragons, she crossed her arms. "Now, you two have to stay alert and ready to move at all times. Jaebell, do not under any circumstances, leave this ship. If you need to fight, you do it from the deck. Kaznec, same with you." If those Riders caused Jae to begin questioning things, it could spell disaster and she wasn't taking any chances. All of that could be dealt with in due time.
"Is Skylheera below deck?" Obtaining answers to her questions, she moved towards Gem and waited while the Captain was giving out instructions. "Captain Nereem, is there anything you require of me? Rahsaveer is standing by prepared to help in any way we can."
